Girl Meets World (2014–2017)
9/10
Fourteen Years Later, It's Girl's Turn to Meet the World!
18 January 2015
When I first heard that Boy Meets World was going to have a spin-off show on how life is going for the Matthews family 14 years later, I was overjoyed. Watching Cory and Topanga on Boy Meets World was a huge pastime for me, especially when I was a freshman in High School. I was also eager for the introduction to Cory and Topanga's children, Riley and Auggie; as well as Riley's classmates which include her best friend Maya, her friend from Texas in Lucas, and her brainy friend Farkle. I really like Maya and Farkle's personalities, while Lucas can be bland yet still possibly redeemable (in terms of developing into a more interesting personality, that is).

The best part about this show thus far is the fact that it has already had a lot of characters from the original Boy Meets World make appearances (and we will see even more of those characters in the episodes to come!), yet this show has stayed in its own identity and hasn't tried to copy Boy Meets World, though some episodes have been somewhat similar to the early Boy Meets World episodes. I also like that Girl Meets World doesn't follow the "tween" concept that so many Disney shows since 2004 have modeled themselves after. It's really nice for once to see a family show that people of all ages can enjoy. Here's to Girl Meets World, and to hoping it has a bright future!

Best of luck on your mission to meet the world, Riley!

30 Rock (2006–2013)

Good Program For Passing Time
29 January 2014
When I recently started watching shows on ABC, I discovered 30 Rock and after watching a couple of episodes I saw it as a good TV show to watch when you want to casually rest or pass the time while waiting for something. I can't directly relate to any of the characters' work situations, but personality wise I can relate to a couple depending on the situation.

I never have really been a fan of Tina Fey's work (mainly because she's never been in the majority of what I watch), although after seeing some clips of her in the past I've decided she is somebody I can at least hope does well with things she is involved in. Portraying Liz Lemon in this show is something I think she did very well, and that is something I would have been following had I discovered this show earlier.

So while I am not what you could call a "diehard" fan of this show, I do find it interesting to watch as some of the episode plots keep me from straying.

Laughable, In a Great Way!
4 December 2011
I've only known about this show for a short number of years, but I'm already a big fan of it! It debuted in 1990 and ended in 1996, but I didn't even discover this show until 2005, NINE years after it ended! A few weeks ago, I got Seasons 5 and 6 to complete my collection of this show.

This show is mostly about a teen named Will, who came to Bel-Air from West Philadelphia so he could stay out of trouble and get a head start in life. His uncle, Philip Banks is probably the biggest influence on Will (he respects Phil's past and what he has accomplished, even if he thinks his uncle is uptight a lot of the time. Plus, he was more of a father to Will than his own Dad). At first, you could say that Will didn't fit in very well, but he was eventually able to adapt to his new home.

Overall, I would rate this show a perfect 10!

Quackbusters: A Gut-Busting Movie
8 November 2011
This is yet another old Looney Tunes classic that I have treasured for years and watch when I can. I'd really recommend it to Daffy Duck fans since the movie brings back some old throwback episodes with slight edits. You can clearly tell when the old scenes and the new scenes are meshing with one another due to the animation, but I wasn't too bothered by that.

Daffy is on his way to millionaire J.P. Cubish's house to try and make him laugh one last time. If he does so, Cubish will give him one million dollars. I'm not going to reveal anything else since that is not my style (it's also against the rules here to do so without putting up a warning, I believe), but you'll see for yourself how good the movie is if you watch it.

Just a Childhood Gem!
8 November 2011
The first time I saw this movie was in the 90's, as a little kid. My dad saw it on TV and taped it so I watched it over and over many times. Needless to say, I loved it. In my opinion, it was everything that the Looney Tunes should be, and more. The new Looney Tunes show that is currently on Cartoon Network just does not compare to the classics. Even now, although I'm in my 20's, I still enjoy watching this movie (along with Quackbusters) any time I get the urge to watch Looney Tunes.

If you are a fan of throwback episodes of the Looney Tunes like Yosemite Sam/Bugs Bunny, Sylvester/Tweety or Bugs Bunny/Daffy Duck, then I strongly suggest that you watch this movie if you haven't already. You won't be disappointed!

Drake & Josh (2004–2007)
9/10
Funny and Fruitful
28 October 2006
Ever since I first watched this show, I've been quite a big fan of it! Most of the episodes are really interesting to watch, mostly because of whatever it is that Drake and Josh get involved in.

I'll admit that when I first heard about this show in 2004, I didn't think it was going to be very good. But after I watched a few episodes, I thought this show was very interesting! The main characters are Drake and Josh, who are stepbrothers who ran into each other when their parents met. Their parents wound up getting married, and that's how Drake and Josh became stepbrothers. But Megan, who is Drake's little sister, likes to play pranks on the two boys and get them in trouble. Sometimes it can be annoying, but it can also be funny (depends on what she does to them). And her parents have no clue what's going on; they think that she does anything but play pranks.

Overall, I would rate this show a 9.5 out of 10, and that's only because a few of the episodes are more annoying than funny to me. But this is still a great show which I hope has a VERY bright future!

A Different World (1987–1993)
8/10
To a different and definitely interesting world!
26 September 2006
Looking for people you can relate to? Looking for people who may have similar lives as you? Well, look no further; A Different World is here! This is definitely one of the better college programs that I've seen.

This is a spin-off of The Cosby Show, and Denise Huxtable was one of the main characters during the run of the first season. She left the show after that, and I thought the whole show was going to fall apart right there, since most shows do when a character leaves. But luckily, they were able to bring in new characters for the later seasons, and they too, were great! I was amazed at how much I could relate to some of them. My favorite character was Dwayne Wayne, since I'm a lot like him when it comes to getting good grades in school. And yet, he still manages to have a good time with all of his best friends.

So overall, I would rate this program 8/10. If you haven't seen it yet, I'd recommend that you watch Season 1 first (that's what I did, and it definitely made the show more interesting for me).

Boy Meets World (1993–2000)
10/10
Pretty good stuff here
3 December 2005
One day during the summer of 2003, I was bored and flipping through channels on my television. While doing so, I discovered Boy Meets World and decided to give it a chance. I thought it was quite good, so I started watching it regularly.

The show is about the Matthews family; a family of six. The oldest child in this family would be Eric, who is also the goofiest (by the final season, he had turned into a total nut!). The second-born is Cory, who was sort of a normal kid in Seasons 1 and 2. He was going around dating several girls during Season 2, until he officially fell in love with Topanga Lawrence during Season 3. They broke up several times, but eventually got back together. The third-born child would be Morgan, who was 10 years old by the end of the series. The youngest child would be Joshua, who was born during Season 6, but only appeared in a few episodes.

Since this show ended in 2000, I never got to see any of the episodes during their original run, but to this day, I have seen almost every episode through re-runs.

The Fairly OddParents (2001–2017)
A fun show to watch!
26 November 2005
The Fairly OddParents happens to be one of those shows in which I find most of the episodes funny. Timmy Turner has fairy godparents (Cosmo and Wanda) who grant him wishes.

Most of the funny comes from Cosmo, who isn't the brightest bulb out there, but he pulls off some funny antics. Other characters that I find funny include A.J. and Chester, who are Timmy's friends. There's also Mr. Crocker, who is Timmy's teacher at Dimmsdale Elementary. He's always trying to capture Timmy's fairies to prove that they exist, since no one ever believes him.

Timmy also has an abusive baby-sitter named Vicky, who tortures him whenever his parents leave the house, something they seem to enjoy doing. I didn't mind Vicky torturing him a few times from the beginning, but it's gotten quite annoying now, since she pretty much tortures everyone in her sight.

Overall, The Fairly OddParents is a good show; one that will most likely be remembered by all its loyal fans.

One of my favorite cartoons
30 August 2005
I have liked SpongeBob SquarePants ever since I first watched it back in 1999. It has become one of my favorite cartoons.

The main character is a yellow sponge named SpongeBob. He lives in a pineapple in Bikini Bottom. He lives next door to Squidward Tentacles, who he annoys on a daily basis. Patrick Star also lives next door to them, and he is SpongeBob's best friend, along with his pet snail, Gary, Sandy Cheeks, and Eugene Krabs (whom SpongeBob and Squidward work for at the Krusty Krab). There are others whom SpongeBob hangs out with every now and then, like Larry the Lobster and Pearl, who is Mr. Krabs' daughter. SpongeBob also goes to Boating School, where he sometimes gets on his teacher, Mrs. Puff's last nerve.

If you are looking for a cartoon that you would enjoy watching regularly, I would recommend SpongeBob SquarePants.

Even Stevens (2000–2003)
10/10
Definitely a great show!
17 July 2005
If you are looking for a show to entertain you, Even Stevens might be the one to do so. You might even relate to some of the characters in this show.

It's about a family of five; most of them are good at something. Donnie (the oldest child in the Stevens family) is a sports-jock, and he's good at almost any sport. Then there's Ren, the middle child of the Stevens family, who gets real good grades all the time, and she's good at participating in extracurricular activities. Louis, the Stevens family's youngest child, is a goof-ball who gets in trouble a lot. He's still trying to find what he's good at. Then there's their parents, Eileen and Steve. Steve works at a law firm, and Eileen is a state senator.

I guarantee you that if you watch Even Stevens, you might like it and start watching it regularly.
