I finally got around to watching this movie. I thought it was a fun watch, but already from the start I wasn't too sure how I felt about it, but I wanted to give it a chance because I'm an admirer of Karen Gillan.
Aesthetically, the movie looks great & I love the score, which is like a mashup of Ennio Morricone & Michael Giacchino's Batman score.
However, there's nothing different with the story, and lacks any real depth to it, and the choreography was flat. For example the first fight scene at the bowling alley just looked like the actors rehearsing, and as someone else pointed out the fact that the ending took place in an armoury yet they lacked weapons was odd, as was the use of a mini gun to shoot 3 guys and one survived.
At the start of the movie, Sam comes across as a cold assassin but half way through the movie she's more like a little girl who needs her mum's help (Not Gillan's fault). Personally, I would have went for a more tongue in cheek movie, it might have made it better instead of being too serious.
All in all, it was a good watch, just not excellent.
