Beasts of No Nation (2015)

Overall Good

From the beginning I had high hopes for this movie and it lived up to my expectations. From beginning to end The Child goes through his stages as he is more exposed to violence. He was at first a very innocent kid scared to be apart of the fight but when circumstances force him to join the violence he has only one choice. The children acting in this movie are amazing, it is one of the best movies where a child grabs your attention. The director did a great job on here. And can't Forget Idris Elba, not an outstanding performance but still great. Idris's character also goes through his stages on this one too just like the kid. The Scenery was beautiful and it wasn't really nothing special but it's hard for me these days to come across a movie that I can rate over a 7 and this one is a 8 in my book. With this one Netflix proves that their originals are one of the best nowadays.

The Boy Next Door (2015)

This movie has no point, no interesting Plot. You could tell this movie was gonna be bad just by looking at the trailer. Not even if it was the only thing on TV, I would never watch this movie ever again.

I want to forget this movie even exists, I want it erased from my memory. This movie is one of those movies where the actors just accept the movie just for the money without any purpose. Anyway I don't recommend this at all, please don't waste your time on this I'm telling you ahead of time if you haven't seen it. I don't care if it's early 2015, this is the worst movie of the year and if it get's an Oscar I'm deleting myself from this Earth.

Selma (2014)

This movie was a decent movie, it's a must watch. It shows the events of history accurately. Finally a movie about MLK that shows a part of his life. The cast for this movie is great, I like the production too.

But I don't understand how Bradley Cooper was nominated because of his acting in "American Sniper" but David Oyelowo was not nominated. It just shows how Ignorant Movie Awards are they don't credit the people that actually deserve the credit. Anyway this movie shows the racial tension in the 1960s. Good Job to Ava DuVernay for her first major feature Film it's totally a win. It's the best movie I've seen so far this year.

Another War movie about the US invading foreign countries and making the natives of the country seem like the invaders. This movie just brainwashes the public to make it seem like Muslims are the enemy and that war is necessary. I bet they will give an Oscar to B Cooper for this. This is the type of movie that's accepted by the Oscars while the movie "Selma" is snubbed and ignored. This movie makes the American Troops seen as heroes but in reality the American Troops are the enemy.

I don't understand how anyone could just see the script to the movie and agree to act in this... It is totally ignorant to believe the American Troops are doing right, but I give them respect for risking their lives, that's all.

Boyhood (I) (2014)

Good Movie, I like how the making of the movie lasted 12 years to follow up the Characters changes accurately and realistically. It shows the progress of a young boy to the beginning of adulthood. The acting was great production was good, and of course the Directing.

I've never seen a movie made this way, very original concept and script. Each year was represented accurately of how it happened, I mean very great. I can see other people rating this a 10 or a 9, but I rated it an 8 because it's not my type of movie or not my genre favorite, but other than that people should watch this movie I strongly recommend it. I personally think it's the best movie of 2014.

Ender's Game (2013)

This Film was rather boring and I didn't see no good plot in this, I went to see it in the theater about a year ago and kept falling asleep through it, I could see what the movie makers were trying to do but it was made in a way that wasn't enjoyable or entertaining. Not the worst film and not one of the best it's just in between. In my opinion the movie got boring after about 40 minutes into it because I was hooked on it in the beginning but it just went downfall after awhile into it. Even if they remake it I don't see this Plot or Story going into a Film and become popular among critics. I never read the book but I do see people that read it complaining that it wasn't similar to the Book, but this is just my personal opinion, I know some people find this movie good. I'm just not one of them.

Fight Club (1999)

Excellent Movie

This Film is Know in my top 2 of my favorite movies of all time, the Script was Phenomenal, so was the acting, the directing, and Production. The Moral of the movie and Theme is fascinating and Genius. This movie is so original I've never seen anything like this before. This is one of a few movies I would watch many times. I was so entertained by it I didn't want to get up from my chair and look away not for a bit. For beginners of movie enthusiast this is one of the first films they have to see, because it's so great. Overall this movie is excellent and everyone should watch it so if you haven't find a way to watch it because you'll not regret it.

Training Day (2001)

Denzel Washington and Ethan Hawke did a Amazing job in this movie, They made it seem real like it's natural to them. The Plot, The Directing, Production and writing was done well. From the beginning I was hooked to the movie I didn't want to take my eyes of it. Fanatics of Crime, Thriller and Drama Films will find this movie interesting, I recommend it to everyone though, I believe any person can find this movie entertaining. I could watch this movie again and won't get tired of it. Anyone who hasn't seen it find a way to watch it, I guarantee it won't waste your time. I gave it a 8 out of 10 for the reasons I mentioned. Overall a good movie.

The Intouchables (2011)

All Starring actors did a great job on this movie, it was very heart warming and had some pretty funny moments too. From the beginning to the end I continuously watched because it was entertaining. Personally my favorite French Film and favorite Film from this decade so far. I could watch it a lot more times without getting tired of it. I recommend this film to everyone basically it's very good from th beginning. I liked how they turned something that should be sad into a film that overcame the negatives and had a lot of positives. It's also a movie anyone can watch like I said it's very powerful and anyone who hasn't seen it should add to their Watchlist

Secret Window (2004)

Johnny Depp did a great job in this movie, only thing wrong was the Plot. The Twist at the end of the movie was really the only thing good about it to be honest. I had no idea it was himself that committed those crimes. I've been wanting to see this movie for a while and finally saw it today, but it's definitely not the greatest movie Johnny Depp has acted in. I was gonna give it 3 out of 10 stars at first but added the 4th star just because of the ending. But Overall it was neither good or terrible. I probably wouldn't watch this movie again, but I do recommend it to people into Mystery it's something I think they would enjoy.
