American Horror Story: The Auteur (2024)
I want the old feel of AHS
Becoming aware that Ryan Murphy had no involvement in this season makes a lot of sense. First I want to rate the episode it was a six teetering to a five. Once again, much of the acting was forced you could see it. If you couldn't see it then obviously you don't pay attention to TV very well or you watch Bad t. V. It was a very short episode. It was extremely rushed. I'm guessing the ending, the viewer is supposed to figure out which direction Anna goes. So it really didn't answer any questions. Overall, the season was not my cup of tea and again. Seeing that ryan is not really involved it makes sense. I really think the direction they need to go in which I know my opinion doesn't matter, I just think they need to try to go back to the original field of American horror story or just end the series. Because the last three seasons have been honestly terrible. We need something that's not rushed or bad story line. And bad actors for that matter.
American Horror Story: Little Gold Man (2024)
It was a good episode not the best
It was a fair episode. Personally I'm glad that were kind of towards the end of the season. We now know who was spying on Anna. Question is as she part, I don't really want to call them witches because they're different from the previous witches. Is however , is she part of that clan? It was obvious at the beginning that her husband was not a good person. And it was quite obvious that Kim Kardashian's character was not a good person either. There was something about her that I just did not like, it could be the person playing the character. But over all that character was just I had a bad feeling about her. Anna has been extremely trusting of all of the people around her and this episode seemed to kind of wake her up. Which I was glad to see even though we're one episode away from the finale. I do feel that the episode was a little short. Could have been a little longer to play out a little bit More of the storyline. Hopefully they won't force everything in this next episode and still leave unanswered questions. But again it was a decent episode but it was not the best.
American Horror Story: Ave Hestia (2024)
An episode that had potential.
This episode really had a lot of potential. The acting from a lot of the cast is just awful. The woman portraying Talia, her attempt at a British accent is atrocious. Too much over acting. The guy that plays the husband, his acting feels forced. It's definitely a much darker episode that they've ever done. This season still doesn't feel like an "American" horror story. Not really sure. The direction the show is going but it's not going in the right direction. A lot of why this episode is a little better than the rest is because Kim Kardashian is not in it. I hope that the rest of the episodes are similar to this one. However I know that Kim has to pop up at some point so.
American Horror Story: Opening Night (2024)
It's an ok return
I'm still not a fan of Kim Kardashian's acting. I really hope they don't bring her back. It was an ok episode. The gaslighting of emma roberts's character is kind of frustrating. And it seems like everyone is overeacting. But overall I can't get past Kim Kardashian's acting. I really believe it's destroying the overall storyline. I understand that the subject is based off of a book However I do not think it's an american horror story. The show needs to return to its origins. This is just not working. I will finish out the rest of the need to get back to some serious early season type of material. And stop casting people that cannot act.
American Horror Story: When the Bough Breaks (2023)
Painful
It's very obvious what generation their catering to this season. If they're bringing back an element of the witches, their catering to gen Z. Kim Kardashian is honestly the most painfulpart of this season. If she wasn't in it, it would have a little bit more potential for being okay. They just need to get back to the origins of American Horror Story. A similar feel of seasons 1 2 and 5 this catering to a specific age demographic needs to stop or they just need to end the show. If they're going to continue to fall of some pattern that just doesn't make any sense I did not understand this episode at all.
Game of Thrones: The Bells (2019)
Wow...alot of Hollywood "writer's" on here
I don't see any of you talking about how "bad" the writing was, writing any scripts for Hollywood. I didn't know that there were so many writers reviewing on IMDB critiquing something that you know a little about.
It was a good episode. I mean Cersei is dead for Christ sake. You are at least happy about that? Yes, I do agree it's a short season and some things do feel rushed. However even if the season had more episodes, some people would find something wrong with the writing, the acting, or the writers themselves, I'm convinced people are never happy any thing.
