Honest Review From A Game Fan

I was hoping this would be good. Last thing you wanna do is get the Fallout fan base angry, which after reading reviews on here and Facebook, you would think it was teally bad. Well, it's not. They have an opportunity here. Not following a specific game and starting elsewhere was a great move. The feel and the story is so far, true to the lore. The vault, the wasteland, the weapons, suits, all of it good. Don't listen to the fanboy "experts". Even if this wasn't Fallout based, it's still a good show. Looking forward to what's to come and so far it's good. I highly recommend it, Fallout fan or not!!!

Independence Day: Resurgence (2016)

Great? No. But still fun and deserved better rating

People on here are out of their minds. It's really not a bad movie. First off, they are trying to keep with the humor of the first one, so maybe go back and see the first movie. Second, bringing back so many of the original cast made this a good movie. If they didn't, then it probably would have been bad. I'm not a CGI fan in most cases but this was done excellent. They left the aliens they way they looked from the first one with some more realism which is great. All in all, this was fun, fast paced and enjoyable. Definitely deserves a better rating than the "critics" on here give it credit for.

30 Days of Night (2007)

Great movie and deserves more credit

This movie should be ranked higher. It's a great movie with a great cast. It's a great, different take on vampires and the atmosphere and ideas of this movie are great. The seclusion, the dark and the fear make this movie an easy top 10 for vampire movies in my opinion. The fact that they have a unique perspective and something not done before is a breath of fresh air. Even the head vampire said they should have came here ages ago because of the 30 days the town is in darkness. This is definitely a must watch and a movie thats done right and not beating the dead horse when it comes to vampire lore and whats been done before.

Hocus Pocus 2 (2022)

A Shadow of it's Former Self

This movie was just trying to ride the nostalgia train. Such a shame. This movie pales in comparison to the sucess of the first movie and proves that doing these sequels decades later won't work. The times then weren't full of the restrictions due to the current political climate and that is the first thing wrong with this movie. The other things wrong are that it's a mess and mot done tonthe level of the first. The script is all over with a lot of "fluff" to fill the time. This movie fails miserably. My kids were not happy and shut it off to watch the original. That says a lot. Unfortunately they should have left it alone and came up with new ideas which seem to be difficult for writers as of late.

Blade (1998)

This movie set the bar for Marvel

This is THE BEST Marvel movie ever made. This movie set the bar for Marvel movies and it's not even a debate. The cast is great, story is great, visuals, soundtrack is great and Blade, aside from the comics , is probably one of the best vampire movies ever made as well. The fact that this movie isn't rated at least an 8+ is a travesty and shows how under appreciated this movie is by the younger generation who think Avengers or Thor are the best. The only reason I didn't give this a 10 is because, as good as the visials and effects were on this, the scene where he cuts Frost in half when he is possessed by "La Magra", could have been done better. But I get that CGI was coming around and progressing. Either way, this movie is the king of Marvel movies and should be respected as such.

Praise This (2023)

Far from what worship is supposed to be

This os totally opposite of what praising, singing and worshipping Jesus is suppose to be. Thos is another of those movies that are fully inappropriate and below what religion and singing about religion are about. The mouths on these people are horrible and this is a movie that more represents sin and praising evil just for likes, views and money. This is totally ridiculous and has zero to do with praising and the glory of singing and worshipping the Lord. Should all be ashamed of themselves. Selfish, ridiculous, shameful and just plain out wrong. At some point I hope someone learns what not to do and not mock religion.

Glory (1989)

Great Film That Deserves More Love

This is one of my all time favorite war movies. This easily should be rated higher. The cast is great, the story is great and the war scenes are great. It shows a lot of great war scenes that give a good idea of the craziness back then. The dangers of war, the hurt, the pain, the emotions. I appreciate the way they did the story and tried to depict some history of an important time in our country. Although the civil war wasn't just about slavery, the end of slavery was an important moment on our young countries past. All in all this movie ranks up there and should definitely be on a much watch list for war movies.

Batman Returns (1992)

Another great Batman film by Burton

With a great cast and beautiful visuals, Tim Burton has done it again. This is a great second film to the first. Keaton as always is THE Batman in my opinion and Danny Deviyo does great as the Penguin. Pfiefer nailed it as Cat Woman and Christopher Walken is great I'm everything. The premise is great, the story, the characters......perfect. People who down this film know nothing about good movies and must be too young to appreciate how good this is. This follow up to Burtons first Batman hits all the marks and to me, set the bar for future DC character movies. It's a must see and is well worth the watch, OVER AND OVER!

Violent Night (2022)

Corny, violent, Gorey and AWESOME

This movie I was a bit skeptical as to how it was gonna be. Boy was I happy. It's one of those movies like Krampus where on paper, it should stick, but ends up being great. The cast was good, the jokes, the one liners, everything was great. Even Beverly DeAngelo from Christmas Vacation in it was a great surprise. This was a great premise and executed properly. This is now one of my favorite Christmas movies along with Krampus and Fatman. I had to rate this a ten because the whole movie kept me hooked and entertained. Even when they touch on the back story about how he became Santa was great and interesting and left me wanting to know more. Definitely recommend seeing this!!!!
