Fractured (2019)
So predictable.. Solved it in that fall scene when it first happened.
As soon as they fell in to that construction site and he pushed away the wife i called that he was gonna push her onto that metal sticking out from the cement that you saw im the foreground of his face when he woke up. So very predictable and the weird tone that happened after made it way to obvious to ask any sort of questions regarding the whole film.
Wow this was bad.
We Are Your Friends (2015)
WAYF - A love/friendship story about achieving your dream.
They start off showing us what its like to be unknown. They have their little thing going on in the valley but they want more.
Director Max Joseph gives this movie an emotional ride with dramatic and heartpumpin' moments. The balance of drama and happiness is what made me really like this movie and going into this movie gives you the impression of expectations, you think you know what will happen when you enter the cinema cause frankly it feels predictable, but Max Joseph and Meagan Oppenheimer really proves you wrong.
The story's ending unfolds really strong and the some of the character goes through a great change that is really pleasing to watch while others doesn't, which also really served the story.
It's hard to go into this movie without expecting the cliché element which tends to be in movies like these, but at least Max Joseph and the great actors that we're cast proved me wrong.
Child 44 (2015)
Worth seeing, Daniel Espiosas best work so far.
If you go into this film thinking that you'll see a movie version of the film, you're in for a treat.
The movie ignores the books different story lines that slowly goes into each other, but i wouldn't say that is a bad thing here.
Daniel Espinosa brings forward great performances with all the cast and all the elements like pacing, story, cinematography is really good.
The look of the film is not the usual Daniel Espinosa style (hand- held every shot) here he manages to combine different styles to strengthen the story telling rather than using hand-held to make it realistic and intense.
This is in my opinion his best directing work so far, if you look at the movie without thinking about the Russian accent.
