Survivorman: Survivorman Bigfoot: Nordegg (2014)
Silly
First, there is no confirmed DNA evidence. There was a questionable report published to a questionable scientific magazine (owned by the writer of the paper who was at the time the only contributor). It's been widely criticised for it's total lack of controlled collection and conclusions. Second, human's existed 30 years ago....and there were Bigfoot trackers then too.
Deciding that Bigfoot is responsible for tree limb configuration because the trees are old doesn't make sense. Not only are they walking along well worn roads and trails, but pioneers and native Americans could've been in the area at some point too. Why would Bigfoot be the only answer?
The question was asked, can someone have been there in time to respond to a hoot. This was meant to imply it wasn't possible, but I don't see that. All you need to know is the general path they'd take. Maybe you can't be there every time they hoot, but getting lucky a few times isn't unfeasible. Honestly, I'd love for there to be the evidence claimed here, but it's just a lot of far-reaching, unreasonable conclusions.
Star Trek: Picard: Two of One (2022)
Meh
Jurati gave a nice, impromptu, performance but it made no sense. It's one thing to accept that she's so into 400 year old music and can whip that up on the spot is one thing, but why would the Borg queen push for it? It's bad enough that Jurati gets mind-raped, but the evil entity inside has very lame goals.
NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service: 1mm (2021)
Enough with Torres and Bishop
For once, I'd like to see them work out a plot device where male and female coworkers can just be good friends. There'd still be emotional intensity, but there wouldn't be the same story we've seen before on so many shows. We've seen it on this show enough times already. It's tired. Let's try something new. It's like teenagers are writing this stuff. You're audience isn't as young as you keep trying to make it. Now grow up and have the federal agents behave like adults. Stop trying to force a romance and tell a story!
Also, what's wrong with a text? Only need a second of connectivity and you could set the phone outside the window and let it keep trying. The signal was broken, not dead.
This whole episode was just silly.
Legends of Tomorrow: I Am Legends (2020)
Another love triangle?
Wouldn't it be cool if Zari/Nate/John had some real stories other than another love triangle/weird attraction to someone else on the ship?
Seriously, how many times will they use this plot device? It's like Zari is just being passed around. She's supposed to be a hero. Write her like that!
Star Trek: Voyager: Maneuvers (1995)
What??
Having been in the military and worked in IT for a number of years, I can tell you that the first thing you do when someone leaves is change access codes. If that someone was known to have malicious intent, extra measures are implemented to defend against that specific person. When I heard, "someone's using our access codes", what followed became implausible and stupid.
Also...using a high ranking person to get command codes only works if it isn't known that person is in enemy hands and then only if the command codes aren't changed on a regular basis anyway. This is a common TV-ism and especially ridiculous on a sci-fi show where making and communicating changes would be so easy.
NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service: No Vacancy (2019)
Didn't they do this plot line already?
Just because your male and female leads are both attractive, doesn't mean they should have a thing for each other. God forbid a TV show work out a plot line that requires more thought or-truly depict a sibling type relationship that might happen with actual professionals. They seem to be pushing Torres and Bishop together and I feel like this theme has been played out already on the show.
Supergirl: Confidence Women (2019)
Losing interest
First, it was stretching it that someone as savvy as Lena Luther hadn't figured out Kara was Supergirl. Second, while being open about yourself may bring people closer, it's not obligatory that you share everything. Nor is it a betrayal and Lena even admitted last season that she was just as guilty of keeping secrets. You'd think someone with that kind of insight into their own behavior would be less judgmental. You'd think that someone would stand up to that expectation. The idea that Kara not revealing her identity was such a horrible slap in the face that Lena turns evil is ridiculous. This episode looked like an effort to explain why it bothered Lena so much, but all it did was repeat the same silly theme.. There are so many creative ways to build a storyline where Lena turns dark, but they chose the one that makes her seem like a vindictive whiny child. I'm disappointed.
