A Mouthful of Air (2021)
Nicely done depiction of depressiom
Not sure why people here are saying post partum depression because she was always a depressed person from before childbirth, but I guess it makes it more likely
Depression is such a silly little umbrella term for so many things humans are succumbed to
The film showed that no amount of help would help...it's almost always up to the person to figure their way out of the depths....those depths though can be so enriching for one's own education in life, depression isn't always a negative thing....in fact aware sensitive and intelligent people tend to get it more...they struggle with deep issues and important issues.....cool film though saddish but hopeful which is how the star of the show came across...strong, always striving and ultimately a winner. Just what she produced throughout in inspiring kids books is a gift she gave from her "depression. I'm writing this mid film so don't know the ending but a wonderful film.
Your Honor (2020)
Really enjoyed it
But the conclusion of the series is one and only one...any judge who does this shoudl be disbarred permanently....presiding over false conviction and also torture and murder of an innocent ..it dissolves the whole concept of any kind of justice system. L.still it's only a drama but I tend to view dramas with a serious bent and relate them to real life...my husband gets annoyed with me for that lol. As a series it's good against others that get very lazy by episode 3 this one had me watching to the end with anticipation.
Loved the actors, loved the interplay, loved all the surrounding issues it all brought up.
Succession (2018)
Very watchable
A good series
I think some of the magic of it is giving us an insight in to the daily lives of people at the top...whether this is a real depiction or not...we all want to know what rich people do when they wake up in the morning..¿it seems there's nothing different from them to us...same dramas, same worries , except for not having enough to eat or heat your home or use the health service in usa eg. One thing I hated was the gratuitous use of vulgar language .and I don't mean the f word, I meant all the use of it with metaphors including incest etc etc .....once two might be ok but was consistent ...no need for it.... I m on episode 6 of series 3 interested to see how they all make their future.....finally I think this is a bit of fantasy too.....hopefully not all corporations are headed up by dysfunctional people.
Interceptor (2022)
Omg omg omg
I've seen a few bad films in my life but this was really bad...I only endured it to get to the ending....it was a wonderful plot that was destroyed by the very bad acting crap actors crap writers....like what were they ON????
Some decent producers and screenwriters should work in this and release a proper film instead of a a total little moronic joke.
Anatomy of a Scandal (2022)
Great stuff
All the whingers on here unbelievable
It's a series to make you think
Good acting from sienna miller
Really wierd man
Nauseating libertine culture should be made illegal lol
Entitled little toffs.
After Life (2019)
Brilliant
To the user that said this was just depressing well you must have missed the humour because I was crying with laughter so much
Excellent conflation of comedy and tragedy and the bits in between a masterpiece.
Only aware intelligent people will get it.
The Nest (2020)
Great film stupid ending
This film showed idiots what it was like to act like an idiot ...such a shame the ending was crap
And by the way I don't believe anyone unless they have mental health problems would let themselves go bankrupt "winning" and still not learning their lesson.
Good actors good atmosphere but both were a bit spineless in not doing near enough to secure their safety let alone potential riches.
Puzzle (2018)
Absolutely lovely
One of the best films alive seen all year
I love how simplicity and complexity are just melted together with the motto of truth, to make a very easily watchable film that people can relate to, get inspired with, love the characters and human situations, absolutely wonderful.
Years and Years (2019)
Wonderful
One of the BBC's finest productions
Well done.
Nice exploration of a myriad of issues and how they can gel to create history.
Fun but also scary just in case it ever happens so madly which it won't
..........
Kindred (2020)
Stop wasting our time
Good film until the end.....you just can't do that ...you just can't.
I Care a Lot (2020)
Waiting for comeuppance
Had to wait right to the end for the only good bit in the movie
Nasty characters doing nasty things...pike was extremely annoying and hateful
Anyone who is involved in anything remotely similar in a real life situation deserves the same
The 24th (2020)
Fantastic
Excellent movie. All those men were men and the others were poor excuses for them. It's a crying shame that many brains if you can call them that are still of that mentality to this today, god have pity on their wretched little souls
Lupin (2021)
Very enjoyable
At last a series I can easily follow without getting a migraine...light, interesting and watchable
Black and Blue (2019)
Most excellent film underrated
Brilliant movie. Combines two social problems nicely. Loved the ending. Loved the whole thing. Way to go. More. More.
Earthquake Bird (2019)
Mesmerising and refreshing
I enjoyed everything about this film 10/10 except the ending
But well done on a real film, fed up of drugs gangs car chases and politics
Now off to de clutter too
Stateless (2020)
Too dragged out
I enjoyed this as far as watching human suffering allows you to....I hope in real life that evil cow at the centre got her commupance.....imprisoned for years for committing no crime..that's Australia's poster...shameless..how incompetent can they be to take so long...anyone not mad at this state of affairs needs to be....I hope a series two is made to show if they have improved their pee poor performance
The Trial of the Chicago 7 (2020)
Sickening
Every time I am reminded of some of the worst examples of the so called justice system
What pigs and what a great example of what the world really must rid itself of
Underwater (2020)
Don't waste your time
Not a lot to see here
Could have been better , lacked a lot of substance
Indecent Proposal (1993)
It didn't add up
As a film to watch to pass the time it was ok. Problem is that if Redford hadn't caught her looking that way at David he never would have did the millionaires club thing in the cab...she would have stayed with him...so the meeting with David at the pier was so false....it wasn't her choice to go back begging to him
Exposed (2016)
Wasted time I'll never get back
Flop flop flop, was ok in,parts, the end was so disappointing
Deadly Vows (2017)
Shocking
This film is sooooo bad it hooks you
Dreadful waste of time
The mother in law wasn't far off cuckoo either
Hva vil folk si (2017)
Very sad
For all concerned, just sadness...the irony is that she never slept with anyone when they decided to turn her life into hell....totally irrational people....disgusting religious police depiction too....feel sorry for the children...the dad was the only one who had actual emotions of love....everyone else was horrible
Red Joan (2018)
Lovely
I really enjoy films like this. A story you can actually follow without getting a brainfreeze. Lovely historical depiction. Only thing is I would have liked to see more of the current time.mit was like a reverie for the actress too much.
John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum (2019)
Disappointing
Wouldn't watch it again but could watch the others repeatedly
The Reluctant Fundamentalist (2012)
Boring
Could have been miles better, given the subject matter, slow, some characters unsolid, boring
