Mixed·ish: Girls Just Want to Have Fun (2019)
Pulp Fiction in 1985?
Rainbow's parents were dressed as the two main characters in Pulp Fiction that came out in 1994 yet the episode is set in 1985...How can everyone that works in this show miss that?

Really good show. It's worth the watch.
I watched it in the original language, because I am Portuguese, and it was such a good show. It makes us look into our own society, that in many ways is not far apart from this dystopia. Only 3% percent can succeed while the 97% live in poverty. They talk a lot about merit, and it's the foundation of their utopian place where the 3% live. Just like people in our world makes us believe that we can achieve something if we deserve it, our world too is based in meritocracy. Our f#cked up world based on capitalism believes that we can achieve anything if we deserve it. That we are the creators of our own success. Those lies connect this amazing tv show with our own reality. I learned a lot by watching this show. Everyone should too.
