In 2009, after completing his film studies in London, Henley emigrated to Poland where he secured a position as a film producer. During his time there, Henley wrote, produced and directed the featurette “In Light” (purchased by Sony Pictures Classics, USA) and represented projects at the world's largest children's film, tv and media festival, Amsterdam’s "Cinekid". He also worked with such industry alumni as twice Oscar-nominated Polish director Agnieszka Holland and her countryman, veteran director, Krzysztof Lang, Hollywood producer Dean Zanuck, and the star of Oscar-nominated "Cold War" and the 2019 European Film Academy Actress of the Year, Joanna Kulig.
Henley formed a close working relationship and friendship with Kulig assisting her for some years in her casting preparation and role development. It was Kulig who encouraged Henley's own acting talent, urging him to move from off-camera to on-camera where he soon won roles in several high-profile tv commercials. Following this success, Henley appeared in 2 of Poland's prime-time serials before landing his first feature film role appearing alongside James Norton in Agnieszka Holland's latest film, "Mr. Jones”, which debuted at Berlin's 2019 Berlinale Film Festival.

When Louis Met... Jimmy (2000)
The subtle unveiling of a monster. Brilliant work by Theroux.
I can say in all sincerity I never bought into the bullshit image peddled by Saville from day 1. After originally watching this documentary Saville knew it, Theroux knew it & I knew it - Saville was indeed an empty shell with more than enough skeletons to fill a cemetery in his closet. It was therefore absolutely no surprise to me when the huge-scale crimes from Saville's paedophilic past emerged following his death. An absolutely riveting, disturbing & revealing documentary. Louis Theroux's finest work? Maybe. (Read Doire of Sweden's review - very well-written of which I concur 100%). Highly recommended.
