Green Book (2018)
'Green Book' is the greatest film of 2018.
Viggo Mortensen and Mahershala Ali are an excellent duo. A beautiful, powerful and hugely funny film about racism, Dr Shirley's journey and his friendship that built overtime with Tony Lip.
The second time I saw this film was with a friend and the audience applauded at the end and this was in the cinema!
Lewis (2006)
A enjoyable Sequel!
In many ways 'Lewis' is a lot like 'Inspector Morse' from the extraordinary plots, to the views of Oxfordshire and the detective's always needing a decent pint at the end of each case.
However overtime we learn more and more about Hathaway and his past, life outside of work and him as a person. This is something we didn't see much of from Lewis in 'Inspector Morse'.
We also get to learn a lot more about Lewis as a person and the struggle he had for a longtime for the lost of his wife.
Overtime Lewis falls in love with Dr Laura Hobson which is something Hathaway and Chief Superintendent Innocent always saw coming as their relationship built and the bond between them got stronger.
Another thing that makes 'Lewis' different is Lewis persuaded Hathaway to do his Inspector course and didn't delay it for years like Morse did with him.
I also feel Lewis and Hathaway had a closer friendship than Lewis did with Morse and they got to say goodbye to eachother as well.
Finishing on 33 episodes was a good decision and 'Lewis' was an enjoyable sequel to watch.
Inspector Morse (1987)
Greatest British crime series of all time!
The up and down moments of Morse's and Lewis's relationship, the heated arguments between Chief Superintendent Strange and Morse, the loud music of opera, the beautiful views of Oxfordshire and the breath taking and thrilling plots is what makes Inspector Morse the greatest British Crime series of all time.
Rocketman (2019)
A beautiful writing and breathing taking film
The way Elton's character is portrayed by Taron Egerton is thernominal. It teaches future stars fame is not all about the money, sex and drugs it's about being true to yourself and showing the world who you really are...
