Sherlock: The Final Problem (2017)
Season 4, Episode 3
10/10
Amazing.
15 January 2017
Warning: Spoilers
A groundbreaking, very different episode. Everything made sense and came full circle. The acting was superb, the music great and the writing as good as always, massively improved since the -somewhat not great- first episode of the season. I've seen many complaints about the episode's psychological nature. Honestly, if Sherlock continued to be a series of episodes of an ingenious detective solving impossible cases, wouldn't it get tedious and repetitive quite quickly? Character development and protagonist-focused episodes are needed if a TV show doesn't want to become a boring pastime of its fans. And as I saw a person commenting someplace else, "I think people mistook Sherlock. It was never about the cases, it was about Sherlock as a person and the drama that surrounds him". Please, if you want a TV show of a sole case after case solving pattern, Sherlock is not for you. It's something a lot deeper than that. It's about an extremely clever man, almost devoid of sentiment, that learns (the hard way) how to feel, to love, to hate, to be hurt, to be truly happy. To be human. And it has always been this way. This episode was a masterpiece.

Westworld: The Well-Tempered Clavier (2016)
Season 1, Episode 9
10/10
Mind-blowing
28 November 2016
Warning: Spoilers
Amazing episode. The best of the season, along with episode 7.

Westworld has established itself as one of the best shows on television and "The Well-Tempered Clavier" is an impeccably well- written and acted TV hour.

+ Ramin Djawadi's score + Multiple time frames confirmed + HUGE Bernard = Arnold revelation + Jeffrey Wright and Evan Rachel Wood in specific were amazing tonight

  • Don't know how I feel about Maeve's story thus far. She being able to control the hosts seems a bit lazy and too easy.

I would rate it a 9,5/10 but since I can't, it's a 10/10 from me.

Game of Thrones: The Winds of Winter (2016)
Season 6, Episode 10
10/10
Excellent, breathtaking
26 June 2016
Warning: Spoilers
I'm trying really hard not to cry again while writing this review. This episode was the best finale of any show I've seen in my life (and I've seen a lot). Firstly, Ramin Djawadi is a genius. The 'Light of the Seven' theme playing during the King's Landing sequence was one of the most haunting and beautiful pieces of music ever created. Secondly, Miguel Sapochnik proves once again that is an immensely talented director and hands down the best this show ever had. Please bring him back for seasons 7 and 8. The writing was on point and the acting was superb. I am capable of talking about this exquisite episode for hours but all I'm going to say is: THANK YOU HBO, actors, writers, directors and the entire crew that works on this show. We are tremendously grateful for this masterpiece of storytelling that you bring so successfully to life. Thank you.

Game of Thrones: Battle of the Bastards (2016)
Season 6, Episode 9
10/10
Best hour of my life
19 June 2016
Warning: Spoilers
This episode is exactly why Game of Thrones is a huge part of television history and will remain so for many years to come. Epic, horrifying and incredibly brutal. From start to finish, from Daenerys embracing her Targaryen identity and allying with the Greyjoys to Jon's battle for his family and ancestral home and Sansa's long-awaited revenge, this episode was definitely the best of the show so far. My congratulations to the actors, the writers and the marvellous director, who is proved to be the best among the most talented directors HBO has employed during these 6 seasons of the show. Kit Harington's portrayal made me cry, cheer and fear for Jon. As of Ramsay, farewell bastard and rot in hell. As of Iwan Rheon, farewell you immensely talented actor, we will definitely miss you.

An obvious 10/10 for this game-changer episode.
