Locke & Key (2020)
Great atmosphere, horrible writing
I'm absolutely in love with the house, keys and the whole atmosphere around the show. I was really enjoying it until the last 2 episodes. Oh they really boiled my blood. Who decided that this was a good enough writing? I really hope in season 2 they'll get experienced writers. This has a great potential! And it's sad that as the show went on, they focused on older brother and sister (whose names I cannot remember:) and completely forgot about Bode.
Sam's storyline genuinely touched me. I felt so sorry for him. Plus they chose an amazing song by Flora Cash. I'm in love with the band now. I genuinely wish them good luck!
The Lion King (2019)
Absolutely outstanding job!
Ah man, so many great memories. I cried so much while watching. I'm taking my hat off to the people who made it possible. I genuinely feel like I'm 7 years old.
Game of Thrones: The Long Night (2019)
From director's view point - absolutely brilliant!
Yes, it is disappointing that Night King's story ended this way, I was dissatisfied. And not because Arya did it instead of Jon, I'm dissatisfied because it happened too quickly, without a fight. But it was probably the best episode in the whole series in terms of atmosphere and directing. I didn't have any problems with lighting, I think it was intentional, that feeling of unknown really made my skin crawl. And the way Dothraki's fire started to fade one by one was incredible. And the battle of dragons was so amazing! There were so many scenes that were incredible pleasing to watch, it gave great aesthetic pleasure. Absolute brilliant job by the whole cast and crew. Really looking forward to the rest of the season. But it wasn't better than The Helm's Deep Battle though. I believe nothing can be compared to that and probably never will.
Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018)
Brilliant, absolutely brilliant!
It has everything you need to see in a movie: jaw-dropping story, wonderful soundtrack, stunning visuals and absolutely brilliant actors! Casting of Grindelwald and Dumbledore is just perfect! I thought that nobody can beat Ralph's performance as Voldemort because he was so great but the way Johnny portrays Grindelwald is something out of this world! Grindelwald is a terrifying character but at the same time I absolutely love and admire him. I understand him, get his point of view, when Voldemort wanted to kill everyone, just because he wanted. Johnny is very persuasive as Grindelwald and that's why people follow him. Scene with his speech really got, shocked me, I wasn't moving during his speech, not even blinking I think. I just froze. It even scared me in a way! I wasn't scared of Voldemort, but I'm terrified of Grindelwald. The speech scene I think will become iconic and Grindelwald himself will become an iconic character, villain. I watched it twice and still can't get over it. The only movie and character that had this affect on me in a very long time. Before it was The Greatest Showman and Freddie Highmore in The good doctor. Thank you J.K. Rowling for bringing magic into my life since I was 7 or 8. Now I'm 19. And thanks to the cast and crew! So excited about upcoming films!
Paradox: A Rusty Lake Film (2018)
So atmospheric !
I love the games so much ! And this film is freaking awesome! So spooky and atmospheric . Great job guys and the actor who played detective Dale is very good . It's so strange (in a fantastic way) to see the events of a game in a movie ,especially the hotel on the beach. You should make more short films based on your games .💗
Preacher: The Tombs (2018)
Hell scene is phenomenal !
I love this show so much! The Hell scene is incredible. Also love the Underworld reference (when Tulip starts shooting the floor to make a hole and escape )
Riverdale: Chapter Thirty-Three: Shadow of a Doubt (2018)
The creators forgot that Betty is just a teenager
I understand what they're trying to do .They want to make an intense drama detective but they forgot that almost all of the main characters are pupils (teens ) and what they do looks so unrealistic and even stupid . I mean Betty lock picking ,come on .
