The Continental (2023)
Amazing
It is very soon for a review of an entire show when only one episode is available, but seeing the negativity, I thought it prudent to do so.
This show is a great piece of entertainment. Obviously you are not going to get the production of a Hollywood blockbuster, but despite the reduced resources, I can tell a lot of love has gone into this. The action, music, cinematography, characters, there is nothing that doesn't add to this show as a whole. Prequels do their job well when they add depth to the original. From what I can observe on the first episode, The Continental excels at this.
If you liked John Wick and want more stylish action, I highly recommend this show.
Luke Cage (2016)
What is everyone whining about?
There is a cancer in our society and that is people who thing they are superior for not liking something. Sure this show may have its flaws, but it does EXACTLY what it is set out to do. Entertain. Not every show is going to be perfect, but if you go into a show just looking for everything wrong with it, of course you are going to have a bad time. Granted, I watched the first episode and I thought it was a bit slow, the second episode picked up that a little and then, the third episode hit, I was so excited for everything else that the show had in store for me. Do not guide yourself by the negative reviews, they were obviously expecting way to much, probably by the hype the trailer generated. This is a very awesome show and if you stick with it, you are definitely going to have an amazing time watching it. It has plenty of action, while not getting bogged down by too much explosions and fight scenes to keep people entertained. Most people will give some lame excuse to give this show a low rating and I disagree. I just want to say I had a blast, I was smiling, I was tense, I was having so much fun with this and I can't wait to see every other season that they make.
South Park: PC Principal Final Justice (2015)
Brilliant finale to a brilliant season
I for one really enjoyed this finale, ever since I saw, at the beginning of the season with all the different changes happening in the town, I knew that the finale was going to be great and I wasn't disappointed. I don't want to spoil too much in this review, but I did want to give my point of view across so here it is. I loved all the guns in this episode, I have recently started seeing a bunch of pictures on the internet of kids holding guns, and when I saw the scene where the kids are on the basketball court holding guns that they have recently bought I was laughing really hard, also the Bruce Jenner gag where she runs people over never fails to have me in bits laughing. Many people are not going to like the finale, given the fact that it isn't like the old episodes, but nowadays, it is cool to say everything new is terrible, if things carry on like that, we are never going to see new things, it is all going to be rehashed stuff, over and over again. So I support 100% everything Trey and Matt are doing, I think this is an awesome new chapter for South Park.
South Park: Tweek x Craig (2015)
Near perfect episode of season 19
This episode was great, I have recently seen people complaining about season 19 because there wasn't enough stuff going on with the boys, this season has really only revolved around the town in a whole. However, this episode is more about the boys, I mean, how more about the boys can you get when you make two of them have a gay relationship! I really enjoyed this episode; Trey and Matt have always been on their toes with what's going on in today's society, and this episode is no exception, "Yaoi" has been around for a while and they really took a funny spin on things (like they usually do) but this episode doesn't just show "Yaoi" being a "thing" however they also expressed a strong message on how some people are forced to be a way they are not comfortable with. In conclusion, in my opinion, this season has been nearly perfect, and this episode is no exception. Go and watch it!
