Mayor of Kingstown (2021)
Best show I've seen in a long time!
The series starts off a bit overwhelming as they throw a whole bunch of characters at you but who they are & their roles become clearer as you watch each episode. The series gets better & grittier (and more violent) as time goes by. I was looking for something to replace SOA and this is it. I loved that they filmed in Kingston, Brantford, Hamilton and GTA (I live in Kingston, Ont; it was cool to see Kingston Pen and our shoreline on the big screen). This series has tons of shock value but how they depict prison life is spot on. I can't wait for season 2! Thank you Taylor Sheridan. You are an incredible writer and creator of outstanding TV series. Keep it up! I purposely subscribed to Paramount + just to watch this and 1883.
Mayor of Kingstown: The Mayor of Kingstown (2021)
Incredible!
I found the 1st episode a bit confusing but that is only because my attention was focused on searching for landmarks & streets in Kingston, Hamilton & Brantford 🤣. I live in Kingston right now so it was nice to see my city on the TV screen. My grandpa worked at that steel mill in Hamilton you keep seeing throughout the series. The series keeps getting better as you go. It's such a true depiction of prison life. I'm looking forward to season 2. It'd be cool if I could get a glimpse of them filming season 2 around Kingston Pen.
Sweet Tooth (2021)
FANTASTIC series!
What an interesting and compelling series! I saw the Trailer on YouTube and counted down the days until I could watch this. It's excellent. It weaves three multiple character storylines but the main one revolves about Gus/Sweet Tooth. The visual effects are amazing. I loved it. I read an article that the TV series is very different than the Comic Book though so if you are expecting the same, you may be disappointed. The visual effects are amazing! I'm nearly finished the series and if I didn't have to work today, I'd be finishing it up. Give it a shot, you may love it like I have!
Them (2021)
Incredible! Kept my eyes glued to the screen!
It's shocking at times, and downright terrifying. I'm currently at that shocking scene in Episode 5 and I just had to come to rate this series. I appreciate that Lena Waithe was an Executive Producer. Excellent acting and plenty of jump scares! I was shocked to see it rated at 4.4 on imdb once it was released on Prime. Not sure why? I'm here to help increase the overall rating of this incredible tv series. Job well done!
Tell Me Your Secrets (2021)
I love it!
I love all of the different characters and how they weave together as the story progresses. Great acting, awesome storyline. I saw on Amazon that users rated this an average of 6.6 the other day and I was shocked enough to come here to give my own rating. I love seeing Louisiana, the storm shelters, the swamps & bayous. I hope this series continues as I'm hooked and intrigued.
