Justice League (2001–2004)

Justice league animated series are the kind of show that you probaly watched when you were a kid, love it, and forgot about it. Later on in your life, you tell yourself maybe I should watch this again, and holly paradise, now you can trully appreciate how good the show is. In Justice League, it is not simply super being beating bad guys ( there are a lot of action, dont get me wrong, if you are just here for the fighting, you will get your fix), but more than that. There is romance, friendship, life lesson, etc. And most of all, characters act like they are real human being (even the aliens haha). For example, if wonder woman gets hit and free fall, superman or green lantern will be there to gave her a lift. For the love of god, Wonder woman is invincible, but other will do it for they actually care about her. And there are way many more moments like that in the show. For the love of god, watch it, you will love it, it is undoubtly one of the best if not the best animated show ever happen to be created.

Ok, I am totally bias on this because I grow up with DC animated series (Batman, superman, justice league, etc). I had always dream of those animated series coming to real movies. And Holy Moly, this is exacly what I expected as a kid. It is like a kid you were given a plastic cheap car toy and then when you grow up, you get enough money to buy the real thing. Oh my god, go watch this if you are a DC fan, comic movie fan, or whatever, the movie is that good. Thank god Warner Bros. let this happens, I can die a happy man now. Cant wait for more of this.

Identity Thief (2013)

dump movie, but pretty good

This is not the kind of ground breaking Oscar winning movie, but it achieve what it intends to achieve: family-friendly humor, actings seemed real enough, kid like it, adult can tolerate it. If you are too bored and want some movie to watch with your kids and husband/wife. This is the kind of movie to watch.

Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood (2019)

Ok, to be real this is not like the majority, if the name Quentin Tarantino, Brad Pitt and Leonardo Dicaprio are not attached to it, this movie would probaly receive way more hate. But to be honest, there is not really other similar movie to compare Once Upon a Time In Hollywood with. Thus this is kinda an unique title, one of a kind. Go watch it but take it mind that it is very different, and somewhat boring.

Mulan (2020)

I had a stroke watching this

Disney did it, they make a movie that even worst than Lion King Live Action. This movie is just Mulan 1998 with all the charm and love boiled away. Nothing makes sense, but there are 3 things gave me stroke watching: + Why give Mulan Chi power at the begin, is that the opposite of empowering. In the orginal, Mulan is just original human being who works her best to become stronger and achieve something. This movie, Mulan is born with super power, basically she is done deal at the start of the movie + The military leader force people to work hard or .. they got to be sent home. Then why the dad does not just go there, perform like a monkey and got sent home anyway, why + Why they even replace Mushu with that witch, the witch make no sense at all. The witch is just a stupid object to point Mulan where to go to the next plot point. And then she die, by taking an arrow in egle form, why she did not just turn into a billion bats like she did at the start of the movie, why Honestly, I wasted 30$ watching this and it gave me stroke

Sonic the Hedgehog (2020)

not the best movie, but a good movie

Visual: 8/10, could have been better, but could have been worse, remember the first trailer design, yeah, it could have been like that but the movie studio went out of their way to fix this and please the fan

Acting: 7/10, Jim did his role well,almost every other characters play their roles right, there are some cringe moment but in generals, it please to watch

Watching with your kids/family/friends/ etc: 9/10 Dump fun movie, possible to watch with anyone.

Stories: Bascially not anything new, cliche, dumb fun, "huh huh friend family Fast and Furious Cliche huh huh". I dont hate it, but it is not something I would recommended for anyone wants some quality story content.

Overall, dumb fun movie, go watch it, or get the dvd digital version, pretty pleased to watch.

A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood (2019)

not a bad movie, but a misleading one

Ok, I love Mr Roger, that guy is legendary, no doubt about it. But the movie marketing itself as some kind of documentary about Mr Roger. But no, Mr Roger is only like 15-20% of the whole movie. It makes me feel like if they remove Mr Roger and replace him with some sort of emotional god like firgue the movie still gonna work as it is. For the love of god, stop using beloved character name to marketing your drama movie. If they are honest and just make it as a standalone drama movie, I would be fine with it, I would even love to bring my gf to the theater to watch it. But this, this movie make me feel like I got scammed.

Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker (2019)

I came to the cinema expect nothing, but still let down

I gave this movie 3 stars cuz the visuals are pretty good, decent, the actions are awsome, fighting somewhat make sense. But everything else is messy trash. I see no story, no character development, wasted potential, and worst of all, things keep contradicting itself. Ok, I dont read the comic and all kind of stuffs, and I'm sure that most people are like me, what we see on the scene are what starwars to us. Thing movie is horrible at every attempt it tries to tell a story. Like in a scene Rey tried to destroyed her lightsaber, and Luke stopped her saying Jedi weapons should not be treated so horribly, while right in the 8th movie, he toss that thing away with no hesitation. What da hill Disney, please make up your own mind making movies please. This movie has the most chaotic story I have ever seen. It is not a good movie, not an okay movie, not a guilty pleasure movie. This is a horribly bad movie. If u are a child and just want some cool action and beautiful scifi scenes, then yes the movie is somewhat acceptable, but if u want to watch some starwars, this movie is bad starwars movies. For the love of God, I want my money back.

The concept of this episode is amazing, they tossed in some reference from the terminator. Pretty cool I must say. But it kinda weird that Rick punched Morty in the face. Anyway, this episode is cool

Finding Dory (2016)

Not the best movies, but fun, and heartwarming, excelent movies for family and kids. It doesnt really bring anything new to the table, but it doesnt have to be. Finding Dory is an enjoyable adventure for everyone. Watch it, you will enjoy it

It is weird, normally when I come to the cinema to watch DC movies, DC usually let me down recently. But Joker 2019 is different. Bear in mind, Im no movie critic or something, Im just trying to justify my review as a fan who finally get the movie he want. Normally, for a villain character, movie makers fail to justify his "evilness". Because they tend to isolate the character with the world around them, thus general movies create theme of "edginess" that me and others despite the most. But Joker is not a character, if somebody ask me to describe who, what, how is Joker, it is extremely difficult for me to explain who he Joker. Joker is more like a presentation of the society around him (Gotham City). There is no "right right" in this kind of scenario. Any characters in the movie are flawed in their own way. Many of them like Thomas Wayne of "the rich" are evil in many standard, but they convince themselves and the society around them that they are "all good". But Athur (Joker) fight back that kind of attitude, he tried to seek help but all the help he receive just pushed him further into madness. In the end, he is nobody, Arthur gave up his identity the society gave him to be reborn as Joker. I have to say, watching Joker is very uneasy experience, it is very disturbing to be honest. So watch with ur own regard. But this is what art is, to push border, to go above and beyond normal standard. This film is definately special.

Justice League (2017)

the movie is fun to watch, I am a DC fan, I have to admit it so I have watched this movie about 5 times to fully get all the stuff this movie offered. Differently, from the edgy tone of Suicide Squad or Batman vs Superman, this movie is just like a real-life version of the old justice league animated series. The movie has its moment, maybe too long with too much detail just in case for newcomers, and I am OK with that. What I'm trying to say is, don't expect an Oscar worthy movie or a deeply underrated masterpiece like Watchmen, the movie is fun to watch, it has its tone, one of the closest live action of the old justice league animated series. 9/10 because there is no green lantern, there cant be any justice league without Hal Jordan or John Steward

War for the Planet of the Apes (2017)

some people just hate for no reason

I truly feel the pain inside me when I see so many negative review about this movie on IMDb. Growing up watching the 2nd remake (2001, and all of them are bull dung), and later on watch the original (the original are masterpieces), now I find this trilogy amazing. People complain there is no "war". Oh cmon, this is not like call of duty war, or Destiny war, this is evolution war, this is mental war. It is serious on so many level that the movie doesn't talk about war is just people shoot people, people shoot apes or apes shoot ape, this is the movie about mental pain (ceaser's family is killed), PTSD (ceaser keeps seeing the ghost of Koba), and metal fight (ceaser keeps fighting back his own will of revenge). This movie is touchy on so many level and the more I watch it, the more I feel fascinating about how the director can put so many content in just like 2h of watching. Truly masterpiece, in my opinion, this movie deserve 7/10 for some rush action and plot hole, but I have vowed to give any ape movie 9/10 so here you go. Stop hating and start loving the monkey.
