What a bore!! Im done with Bond Movies!!
19 January 2016
I'm surprised this movie is getting fairly good ratings..

it was a very boring movie..

when casino royale released, it was a much needed reboot , back to basics with less of Pierce Brosnan style of hi fi gadgety gimmicks and more of a storyline, mind games etc..I loved it..

and then it never took off from there..

'Quantam of Solace' was a forgettable fare..

skyfall had great music and cinematography and it was entertaining but it never looked like a bond movie and was silly at times..

and then, we r here with his bore, james bore spectre.

I endedup disliking Daniel Craig after this movie.boy there was no life in his face.it put me to sleep..it came across as if he had no interest whatsoever to act in this movie.

Christopher Waltz had stupid role and was completely under utilized..

Monica Belluci had a 2min role.. Lea Seydoux was just OK..

except for casino royale,in all these other Craig-Bond movies the entire concept of bond girl has diminished and has become more and more irrelevant with they having no role to play..

such a disappointment on all fronts..

an urgent reboot required...

Very Average fare

Warning: Spoilers
Hmm what can I say..the setting was good..for the first 30 mins or so the build up was great..visuals top notch..just when I was thinking, finally we might have another jurassic movie after the first one in 94, which has the potential to be really good, the movie takes a dip and goes down the drain and never recovers..

So we have these 2 kids chased by the most dangerous animal ever, indominus rex..they jump into water come out and give a hifi and smile at each other happily discussing how nicely they jumped..seriously???

And then their aunt(the lead actress) screaming and arguing with the lead actor standing in an open area which was just visited by indominus rex...and then she running on heels for the entire movie..

We have these group of people with some toy guns trying to contain indominus rex..

and then those man eating mini dinosaur birds or what ever they r called, the glass breaks, they escape..really? so much for the basic sense of security..

that CEO guy has no clue what so ever whats going in his own park..and once he dies his security guy assumes control and starts taking decisions..oh really??

its just comic...scene after scene..

All they needed was a gripping plot and acting consistent with the events happening there..we don't want actors laughing, just when 10 seconds ago they were chased by a huge dinosaur..I would be pissing in pants..where is that intensity?? check the first one from 94 again..and see how every scene is so intense..

avg flick..6/10 for the visuals and the first 30mins...

both the lead actors chris pratt and bryce were good..but mediocre narration and bad plot messed it up..

Was the movie entertaining? Yes, moderately..

Did it blow me away? Nope..

It is like any other superhero movie(exception: christopher nolan's batman reboot), only this time it happens to be with star wars background, where the lead character does everything ..visuals were good..and music was good in parts..dialogue just OK..

There is no depth to any character, neither any intensity in the plot nor gripping narration...it was just beeeeeeeep from start to end..

but thats enough to become huge success these days i guess..sad state of Hollywood movies....
