Barbershop: The Next Cut (2016)

I like barbershop 3 because it brought back the original film feeling from the previous two films while also giving it a fresh energy in the new one by keeping some of the old cast such as Cedric the entertainer ice cube and etc but on the other hand the updated cast includes common Nicki miand a few others the film also found ways to implement other important people in the celebrity or professional athlete world such as Anthony Davis and it even went as far as making a fake Obama an appearance in the film I liked the film because it still gave you the barbershop feel while also addressing current day epidemics such as the killings and shootings in Chicago due to gang related activity overall I felt as though it was a good film but could've been better but do to it being so long to make the third installment to the franchise it was a decent overall film to just enjoy

This movie is based in Baltimore Maryland as a predecessor to the wire focusing on a family life who both of the parents were once wealthy but they lost everything due to drugs and their life being attached to the corner as well as their son deandre he's surrounded by selling and eventually becomes a substance abuser himself but he also has to deal with the everyone around him on drugs as well as a baby in the way he feels as if his backs against the wall which prevents him from leaving the corner alone because he has to support his family his mother who fell victim to the drugs eventually learned how to cope with life again as she slowly worked on recovering and becoming clean again

I found this movie very funny with a story line that in a sense certain people could relate to in everyday life I thought it was great casting and it was entertaining from the time it started until it ended highly recommend watching this film as well as its sequels it also contains a lot of modern day stars that's considered icons in the entertainment industry as far as today. The movie setting brought back an old time feel and it was centered around the same neighborhood it also was one of the type of movies where one minute something happens but the next u don't know what to expect until it actually happens in other words the plot was unpredictable throughout the film which kept me guessing and attracted my attention into the film even more
