Without Shannon it would of sucked.
3 January 2017
This movie is at best mediocre, a mediocre story, with mediocre writing and mediocre acting, well besides Molly Shannon. She carried the show, with her powerful emotions being conveyed so perfectly and her commitment to the character. Without her the movie would of got 4 stars at best. When she wasn't on camera I felt my attention span slowly decreasing as I watched Plemon (Todd from Breaking Bad), who has potential, try and match Shannon's acting.

To conclude this movie is worth watching for some quality acting by Shannon but still lacks very many important things that makes it a 2016 great.

Underrated
2 January 2017
There are three main types of movies, good ones, bad ones and ones that are overlooked by the public. Yes, it is not a masterpiece and has flaws, but still I enjoyed watching this and I was shocked to see the IMDb rating and the box office result. Though independent movies like this don't make much back it still should of made it's 2 million budget. The performance were almost all good, with the exception of a few, it was well paced so I could truly experience the chemistry growth between the two children who come from two entirely different backgrounds.

To conclude it is an underrated movie that brings out a range of emotions, but yes it is not perfect.

Bales performance is the best part

Warning: Spoilers
Though the movie itself is pretty interesting and contains a few fascinating plot twists, without Bale the movie would be less of a success. Don't get me wrong I enjoyed the movie overall, but Bale really carries the movies by showing off his determination to embody a role by going from lean to painfully skinny; losing 60 pounds.

His performance balances mysterious and insanity; which intrigues the viewer more as they want to find out the cause behind his instabilities.

Finally the movie contains a good amount of foreshadowing that appears to be nothing at first but actually represent a key moment in this movie.

Not an awful movie just a let down.

Warning: Spoilers
I came into Batman V Superman with high hopes, the biggest superhero battle ever it said, but when I came out I just that sorry for myself for believing it would be good.

I mean the actual fight its self was the best scene in the movie, that and Gal Gadots overdue appearance as wonder women. But besides that the it was awful; it lacked an interesting plot and, they tried to stuff too many characters into one movie, like giving us a crap glimpse of the flash, aqua man and cyborg in under a minute which seemed wasted. They should of done what Marvel did an give each individual superhero a movie and gradually build it up until they can put all the superheros together in a movie worth watching, I felt like it might ruin the justice league.

Finally Ben Affleck was an okay batman and hopefully his self wrote batman movie will be better.
