Overrated

Way too overrated, has aged poorly.

All characters are awful.

Storylines aren't interesting, compare the storylines to The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air, and there isn't any competition.

The Walking Dead: Walk with Us (2020) Season 10, Episode 12

BEST EPISODE OF THE SEASON

As a comic reader, I really wanted Negan to kill Alpha, but I wasn't sure if that was going to happen, due to the weird relationship they had with each other, however, when Negan killed Alpha, it was probably the best moment of the season so far. As a whole, this season has been really good. (P.S To the people who stopped watching, please start watching again, it's scarier, the writing is really good, the characters are great, and the story is fantastic)

Fear the Walking Dead (2015–2023)

Bad.. just bad

First of all, I'm not one of those super haters of this show, I did like this show, but remember, I DID, now it's just so terrible.

The first season wasn't good, but was kind of tolerable, season 2 was kind of the same, but did do more for the show, then season 3 does start off strong, but kind of falls apart near the end, because of how much they recycle their plot lines. No plot line really hooked me, and I genuinely didn't like most of the characters, I liked Travis, then he fell out of a helicopter. I kind of liked Nick, then he gets shot by a little kid. This brings me to my next point...

I REALLY DONT LIKE SEASON 4. S3 did leave a bad taste in my mouth, but I was fully ok with the show bringing in Morgan, because I do like Morgan a lot. The first episode was actually really good, because it was the furthest episode away from the main story, and was the furthest from the main characters. I was fully down to watch S4 because of Morgan, but when several episodes take time with the other characters, that's what made it worse. All the main characters are so goddamn horrible, I like absolutely no one in the main group, because the writers and the show runners are bad at character work, don't get me wrong, S8 of Walking Dead was bad, but at least the characters were great.

That's what threw me off the show, everything that was previous to the other seasons, it really needed some sort of fresh start.

As of now, I'm up to about episode 6 of S4, and I don't intend to watch anything else. They just need to pace the season better, don't make each season 16 goddamn episodes long if you aren't going to show us a good, cohesive plot, with likeable characters, which is what Walking Dead did great with in S9.

Overall, the show needs to end, or try something new, please, for the love of god, don't recycle convent of the other seasons. I gave it a 4 purely because even though some things were good, it can't cover up all the dumb stuff.

Venom (2018)

This movie is decisive, it's hard to say it's amazing, because it isn't, does it have enjoyable moments?, of course, Is there things that becomes a big issue with this movie?, Yes. Let's talk about the good things, first of all, the dynamic between Eddie Brock and Venom is awesome, as a big fan of Venom, that worked very well, the banter that they have is very funny, Eddie's Ex, Annie, played by Michelle Williams was a nice add on to the movie, but isn't very important, or a character that I should care about. The villain Carlton Drake, played by Riz Ahmed, was pretty bad. Then there is Tom Hardy, he plays Eddie Brock so great, he clearly cares about the character, wanting to do the character justice after the problems with Venom in Spider-Man 3. Let's talk about the problems with the film, first problem, the movie was TOO LOUD! Jesus, me and my sister both thought, "bloody hell, every fight scene is soooo loud", which put me off sometimes. The pacing was a bit off, it had a rhythm, but not a good one, there would be a scene with Eddie and Venom, it would be funny, but then right after there would be either a talking scene with Carlton Drake or A GIANT FIGHT SCENE, WHICH WAS SOOOOO LOUD, then some more banter, it was a big issue, the CGI could have been a bit better, in terms of the Venom vs Riot scenes. A lot of the plot threads aren't good whatsoever, it's drags on with the Carlton Drake stuff, which is soo boring.

Overall, pretty bad in terms of a movie, BUT if you are wanting to watch a movie with your brain switched off, and all you want is some fun action, then this movie is still not for you, because all the boring stuff is used as much as the Venom stuff. 5/10

Luke Cage (2016–2018)

Season 2

This season is amazing, definitely surpasses the first season for me, and the best season of any of the Netflix marvel shows. This season, you need to watch The Defenders to understand what is going on, but that's fine because The Defenders is great. This season shows Luke Cage slowly turning into a antagonist, I was confused who the villain was this season, because Luke was being very violent, abusive to Claire, so thats why she left, which I thought was a good decision, because it shows Luke without the person he loves the most, which was great because then he was left with his dad instead. A character that I have to talk about is Bushmaster, he is by far the best villain of the Netflix marvel shows, maybe even the MCU. He made me feel sympathetic for him, which is what makes a good villain. Now, let's talk about the other villain, Mariah. She is a horrible person, she is turned into the thing that Cottonmouth said she would turn into, "Black Mariah", when she is on screen, you could be excited, scared, interested with what she has to say. She is a great villain and character in this series. Now let's talk about Shades, in the first season I could care less about Shades, I thought that he was a character that is there to expand Mariah's ark, but in this season he is a awesome character, he is by far in the top 5 characters of the Marvel Netflix shows, this season gave him redemption, to help Harlem, and stop Mariah, which is what he does. Some side characters were fine, like Shade's friend that he has to kill, which expands Shades ark. Tilda (Mariah's daughter) was good, had some good scenes, but is there to show Mariah that her family doesn't want her anymore, which also involves Shades as well. Overall, a fantastic season, the best season of any Netflix Marvel show, so I will give it a 9.5/10, hard to top, fantastic

Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (1980)

Best.Movie.Ever

Wow, what a film, I never knew that I could love a film soooo much in my life, but here it is, my favourite film of all time, the one that made me love Star Wars. First of all, the acting in this film is amazing, People who watched the film didn't know that actually most of Harrison Ford's lines were improvised, which is awesome. Carrie Fisher as Leia was great, especially when she talks to Ford, Frank Oz as Yoda is great, way better than CGI Yoda from the prequels. Luke as the hero was great, but I like how they show Luke as the hero, but he still loses, which brings me to Darth Vader. He is by far one of the best villains of all movie history, he is menacing, mysterious, then when he tells Luke, "I am your father", that completely changes how we first watched A New Hope. Effects are good for that time, also two others characters that I need to mention are Boba Fett and Lando Calrissian, these two characters really showed me that this is such a great movie franchise, Lando with huge charisma, and Boba being silent badass, so out of ten I would give this incredible movie a 10/10. Perfection.
