The Good Fight: The One Inspired by Roy Cohn (2019)
Awful
I was a fan of the Good Wife until it became political (mostly in the last season) and I enjoyed the Good Fight up until the end of season 2. Terrible cartoons, Trump bashing, Leisure Suit Larry as a lawyer and Maia the spineless. What's with all the swearing?? If I wanted to see what it's actually like in an office situation I'd stay at work. You might not think this but not every viewer is from the US. I love courtroom dramas but this was one of the worst court room TV episodes I ever watched.
Not Going Out (2006)
Gem of a comedy (more than a sitcom) but time to end off.
Yes, it's 2018 and I've just discovered this show. Thanks to technology and binge watching it didn't take years to realize that the show is getting lost without the excellent supporting actors/actresses. I still think that Lee Mack does/did a sterling job. Not sure if there'll be a season 10 in 2019 but wouldn't be sad if there wasn't. The show seemed to fall flat with the departure of Tim and Barbara. The show still has it laughs but I feel the early episodes were laugh a minute and Lee & Tim were really good foils for each other. Tim was always so serious but always looked like he was ready to burst into laughter. I don't want to drop stars because it seemed to weaken, most shows do. I'm not from Great Britain but my mom and her family are so I've been exposed to British humour from birth and absolutely love it.
The Good Fight (2017)
Doesn't Disappoint
Can't believe we have to wait until 2018 for the next season. Hopefully it'd longer than 10 episodes. Yes they have introduced some questionable language but it is mostly in context and reflects how even professionals react in crisis situations. Although it is a very good spin-off with attention to details of past characters appearing in the show, it's nice to see 'legal action' again as I felt that the Good Wife became more about the political food chain than the law and the needs of the clients.
Chicago Justice (2017)
Glad it got canned
I'm going to be one of those who say I NEVER review anything and only signed up for this one. I'm a long time fan of all of Dick Wolf's shows going right back to the beginning of Law & Order. To me all of the Chicago franchises were successful too and I couldn't wait for Chicago Justice. The first few episodes were okay. Sometimes the prosecutor just plain made stuff up and tried to make it stick. I got fed up when, in episode 10, during a murder trial, the lead (and only)defense attorney was a young girl straight out of law school on her 'first murder trial' and she didn't have co-council. GIVE ME A BREAK!!!!
