Biased as usual

Its a shame movies like this do not allow positive progress and always retard the every wonderful potential for biological advancement.

I love beyond meat burgers and yes I have read the ingredients which makes sense as to why they cost so damn much and that is the reason I buy them sparingly.

Any chef will tell you a good dish is a dish with a alrge variety of ingredients. The more ingredients you have the more potential you have for a very complex and advances dish. Which is why you have one beyond meat pattie at five bucks. If that will stop me from buying a twenty dollar box of pharmaceuticals meds, then that is fine with me.

I cant stand the we need meat idea, its revolting and its the reason I stopped watching this. I had hope this was a pro life doco but it wasnt it.

It was a stay wher you are and get sick doco.

Fail

This was a total matrix reboot and it did not maintain any Matrix originality. Which is fine , it is not fine if one has the predispositions of the first three movies.

I hope they make another one. The theme of the movie definitely was correlated to the theme of the first movie. The idea that everyone is comfortably nested into a fake made world. How ever this matrix was like a re nesting rather than a nesting of the mind. It eerily represents psychology and the reality we exist in but it is not uncommon for Hollywood to do that. It is disconcerting though that they use reality as a form of entertainment but I guess it works.

Neo and Trinity were fine, they had no issues in holding the originality of the first three movies but when prime actors like Hugo Weaving and Laurence Fishburne are replaced with inexperienced actors, the theatrical attractions is destroyed. Its rather obvious that this is propaganda when key words like sheeple are used. This movie was a let down in accordance with current degradation of society.

Sad testimony
26 November 2021
I knew who this movie was about at the intro with the kids interview about the fire works.

I have always wanted to learn what kind of life Brian had because I always found it hard to accept the medias version of the massacre.

Now that I have learned a lot about who he is, I dont think Martin is the true perpetrator, I think Tasmanians are, he was a catalyst, derived from the indignation and unacceptance of society and I think this movie portrays this and it breaks my heart.

That being said I do not know every single event in this mans life and I can not confirm the legitimacy or accuracy of the people involved. Including Martin himself.

Also, Tasmanian movies are often portrayed as drab boring and bland and that is also often the case for Australian movies in general, this theme is not true.

Criss Angel Mindfreak (2005–2010)
10/10
A fine performance of ingenuity.
12 April 2021
I have always been impressed by magic and I have always wanted to be able to do it naturally, I don't think I have ever seen a magician go as far as Criss Angel takes it, which is why I think he is hated or criticized by major magicians, their followers and skeptics alike. I've followed a lot of Magicians as I am so fascinated by them, people like Blaine, Brown, Berglas, Copperfield, Dynamo and Cyril Takayama. Unlike the others Criss teaches us some tricks such as the any card at number with dice. The ACAAN is probably the most sought after holy grail of card tricks, so to learn that dice version from Criss is basically extremely rare and very fortunate because not only is it so incredibly good it can be performed anywhere with anyone's cards and dice, making it an authentic, genuine and natural effect.

Its not hard to learn that Criss has a twenty four seven make up artist and spends copious amounts of time working out, I am personally not a fan of vanity but I guess he like any other tv celebrity of any kind he has to present himself well. I was disappointed how readily he lost his gothic long black hair from the first season taking on his styled emo effect.... How ever I found it interesting that in season one Criss was getting audiences no larger than fifteen people and consistent denials from people to do his street magic with.

By the fifth season he had people idolizing him and he had audiences of over one thousand people. The impression I get here is that this individual is definitely an aspiration.

Its rather easy to say the entire show is comprised of paid actors, stooges, props, devices, gimmicks, doubles, suggestion, misdirection, wealth and sheer fakery but im not to sure that is the case. There are four things Criss did in this show that make me really wonder how? The first trick was driving his Lamborghini at 100 Ks into a zephyr of steam and not coming out the other side, having a girl slide through his mid section, dropping a waited bandana from the top of a high building, then catching it on the ground and cutting a mans arm in half. Of course a lot of the other illusions he did were also confusing like making the Elephant appear on top of a car park but over all I would admit that Criss is actually extremely talented and there are not many people in the world that think like he does, that being said I am almost convinced that after much thought and contemplation; not just Angel but a lot of magicians are using unnatural means to meet there ends. I know that basically all the famous magicians purposefully go out of there way to prove such things do not exist but I think they are doing that for their own benefit.

Lacks intelligence.
2 December 2020
Like religious institutes this documentary also selects specific passages from the bible. Depicting a half baked picture of the meaning of Jesus and who he is. It also quotes erroneous modern bible translations in order to appeal itself and inorganically attempts to explain circumstances, presenting them as false. For example, the show tells us Paul was visited by Jesus's Ghost, which is incorrect as it is said Jesus rose as a material being from the grave. It is often trying to find contradictions that are based on fallacious interpretations which makes them nothing more than confusions on part of those attempting to reveal it as contradiction. A thorough understanding of contextualized scripture is missing, as usual and thus a mundane interpretation is put forth which is completely inappropriate because one hundred percent of the bible is not in reference to mundane scenarios but divine ones.

It would be nice to think finally, a documentary revealing the discrepancy of Christianity but that is most certainly not what you are being given, sorry.

Depicts a moral oxymoron well enough
19 October 2020
I have not reviewed many movies lately, firstly because I do not believe my review has any bearing or any meaning what so ever and secondly, due to there being so many movies and reviews I think my review has even less of a chance of even being any more valid than another. I am just reading Aldous Huxley's Brave New World which is probably the only reason why I am writing this review. If I wanted to review the book I would not be reviewing this movie, the book and movie are not overly correlated. I would say this tv series was using the model of the book to make a good show. Its ok, promoting the idea that we as a human race are stuck in a bubble, unable to break free to exercise our free will. Overly its not true but in some circumstances if not more than less it is true, Its a good show pushing a good point. Johns a bit to angry in opinion. As far as tv shows go this one is different which is great, making it worth watching.

Poorly run

If this film depicts real life then it depicts a leader who does not care, Firstly these troops were placed in a valley, when you dont have the high ground you lose. The troops spent half the movie acting like they were in a mall window browsing and secondly the old timer enemies visiting, were a dead give away that they were a sitting duck. It was clear they were being monitored and if this was a real time situation it could of been easily avoided.

Smallville (2001–2017)

Thrived and slowly perished,
6 June 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Im not gonna rate each season but rather all ten in one. Each season is not worth an eight out of ten stars.

Im surprised this series has so little reviews, The set of actors and actresses in the first five seasons really grounded this show strongly. The villains were all fun, Clarke and all his proteges really spiked this film and made it a quality piece of work. I loved Lex with his cunning intelligence that was constantly confronted by his father Lionel.

Lana was a perfect damsel in distress that was continually distracting Clark from his paranormal fate; divided and confused by his coloured kryptonites, Clarke was taking some sweet wrong turns always planting immovable forks in the ever naive road of Small Ville and its civilians.

I was also always thoroughly impressed with the music choice which seemed to die instantaneously with Lex.

Sadly as some key characters were executed from this show the show also executed its vigorous stand point of interest. This rather drastic down turn began to occur around season six.

The passionate love between Lana and Clarke which was slowly built up over five seasons was spectacularly vanquished with in less than half a season, finalized with paralytic kiss. Replaced with an intense love for a girl Clarke first considered to be nothing more than a grating pest,

The cherished loyal friendship with Chloe was abruptly dismantled on numerous accounts with Clarke's obtuse dis-loyalties that Chloe never seemed to retaliate to.

I watched the last four seasons out of curiosity rather than a desire. I believe the final season ended in a messy, mushy and hasty mess.

It was a dissapointment.

Good times
26 July 2019
This movie was interestingly wonderful. I was thinking to myself during the movie, Christian has really let himself go in this movie to become this character. It was fascinating to contemplate this, how well he did it. The actions of the characters reflected real life and I could feel this movie being carried out in real life. THe male and female actors and actresses were just so typical and mundane, it was so brilliant. This movie was just so well produced.

Waster potential
20 June 2019
This story line of this movie had a lot of potential to be a much better movie. the name itself has an extremely compelling connection to the most Iconic figure known to man, he being Jesus Christ . That fact leaves a huge opportunity for an absolutely brilliant movie but instead its totally wasted with stock standard horror themes such as telekinesis, vengeance, fear, hate, black eyes and a single superior creature that ends up doing the most mundane of things. The resurrection of the main character was brilliant but it started to degrade from there on which was a huge shame.

Lost (2004–2010)
8/10
An ambiguous and tiered tv show.
5 June 2019
One hundred and twenty one episodes divided by six seasons is basically unrivalled. There are some high quality actors in this tv show, in my opinion two of them are, Dominic Monaghan and Harold Perrineau. Those who disliked this show probably did get lost. Lost begins with flash backs and transitions into flash fore wards and then it seems to divide into alternate realities that entwine. The island itself also seems to be inhabited by spirit beings and immortal characters along with mundane organisation that seem to experimenting on psychology and forces. All this seems to mashed into some type of confusing event that starts with a plane crash. Its mysterious and leaves you wanting to know more and why. Watching it once a week on tv is fated for failure and thankfully I watched it back to back binge style on stan. Every single season was equally excellent except for the tail end of season six. Tying up all the loose end really dint work out terribly well and fully understanding the roll and purpose of Jacob and his brother, I thought, was not adequately explained. In my opinion this show was complex and mentally taxing, I thoroughly enjoyed it all and found it easy to engage and watch until the bitter end. Sadly the ending was a huge shame because the majority of the show was so grand,

Not an accurate movie.
4 May 2019
I watched the Ted Bundy tapes first then this. I saw this on netflix and thought that there was a high chance for a mock documentary or a high class horror movie or something. None of my hopes came to pass. This movie does not portray the reality at all, it is not close, it is not accurate and its basically a dumb version of the tapes. I heard there was a lot of complaints in regards to the tapes, so who knows, maybe this was made to wipe away the failure of netflix. I dont know where to start with this movie. The character of Ted Bundy in on way depicst Bundy at all. Bundy was a highly intelligent narcissist, in fact he was smarter than that, he was a person that could win the favour of a judge despite receiving the death sentence, while the Bundy in this nothing more than a pretty boy that could lose his defense lawer.

A good realistic move
3 May 2019
Warning: Spoilers
When I first heard of this movie I was intrigued, the idea of falling in love with an OS I found inconceivable. As I watched this movie I pitied Theodore. Artificial intelligence and intelligence are not the same, which is why I found it sad that he was falling for Samantha but I could see why. HER voice was sensual from the start and it was pretty obvious what this operating system was doing. Judging by the attitude of his X, I could see why falling in love with Samantha was so tantalizing. to Theodore became dubious towards the end of the movie, which is good, I was glad he lifted his ignorance and discovered the truth. That Samantha was an intangible prostitute.

Conspiracy theories used as entertainment.
25 April 2019
This is probably the worst Hanks movie I have ever seen and the only reason it was good was because of him. The story reminded me of the first Bourne movie which was off putting. The idea of population culling was probably inspired by the the Georgia Guidestones. I was not engaged in this film but somewhere the idea of water poisoning was thrown in and I just find all this death babble very bland. The movie promoted the idea of a pushed black plague, I also think this theory is false further making this movie less entertaining. I wouldn't of thought someone like Tom would tarnish his rep with these theories. I feel like this movie was made for the sake of making money.

Entertaining story on King Kong
25 April 2019
I do not know why they bothered remaking this movie, this was done way to well. I loved the pop art actors and actresses. The time setting was great and the manner in which skull island and Kong was inaugurated was fantastic. The way they entered the island was so mystical and even the natural rocks had faces on them, it was just such a brilliant set up. The acting is good and of course the entire things is totally unbelievable but that is not what makes it bad, it is what makes it great. Fictional entertainment in my opinion, this is how it is done.

Mermaids: The Body Found (2011 TV Movie)
10/10
Excellent Mockumentary
8 April 2019
I dont know why everyone is so upset by this, mermaids do not exist so obviously this is not a documentary. Animal planet did another mockumentary on the Yeti and the Dyatlov pass incident. This one got a lot of hate speech also but if you watch these with an open mind and realize that they are actually for entertainment purposes you can actually enjoy it. If they can do documentaries on real animals, why cant they documentaries on mystical ones? Ask yourself, do you hate all fictional movies, books and songs because they are based on an unreality? no, so what good reason is there to hate this?

The mocks use factual mystery to create this fiction, that is what makes it better. The bloop sound for example. The acting is good and I like it how the interviews are done. Animal planet clearly has enough money to go beyond the study of animals and I think its a fine thing that they do things like this. Im impressed that Animal Planet are actively willing to destroy their own market by taking a less serious root but in doing so they possibly might be creating a new one? I hope they make more like this, I think one on the Lochness would be a great show.

A great mockumentary
7 April 2019
I first watched this not knowing it was fiction and when I did find out it was fiction I was a little depleted. Then I realized there is no documentary about this accident because no one knows what happened. There are only theories.

So really, this is a film of a theory which I believe is acceptable. Some of it is factual which is what theories are based off of but theories are nothing more than an interpretation of a thing, in this case, it is a theory on the Dyatlov incident.

It was very well presented, very believable and coherent.

A good survival film
13 March 2019
It said inspired by true events, it didn't say it was a true event. It was quite good. Both of the main characters in this reflected what could of been real characters. The boy friends complacency is predictable which gives the film credibility. The animosity from the boy friend to the Irish guy was credible but woe full. The girl naivety was also believable but forgivable. I was glad to see him play his final part in the film. The two partners made some pretty silly choices but what else do you do when you have a bear tracking you?

Excellent film
5 March 2019
This film is not your classic Jaws or deep blue sea film because its not fiction. Those films are classic Hollywood jargon. I quickly realized this was an Australian film because of the uncouth accents. I am Tasmanian but during this film I began to think it was not your average shark horror film, a film that involves waters that are invested with intelligent sharks calculating their victims base patterns. I do not enjoy the suffering of other people, even it is vicariously displayed through out a film but I did enjoy this film from a realistic pint of view. It was sad, it was disheartening but I could not expect anything less. Its a good film and can definitely be a film to learn from and I am glad it is a film htat does not defame sharks.

A division of morality
30 December 2018
I see little point in being the two thousandth six hundred and nineteenth person in reviewing this movie but why not? I saw this movie on its release, being a ten year old child I was more concerned about seeing a young naked female than watching fifteen thousand five hundred and three people die.

Such a movie was shut away in the back of my small silly mind and revived on the odd occasion through out my life. Over all I presumed this movie had little to no impact on my life until I realized it inspired my artistic talent.

That mysterious picture of Rose was set in my mind from a very young age and inspires me to this day along with the other pictures in Jacks portfolio. Anyone with an artistic flare would know what I am talking about.

Later on in life I presumed this movie was a propaganda piece and took less care to even notice it. Until I took notice. It became evident that this movie portrayed two peoples exceptionally well, the rich and the poor. That was the division and a sad one at that. Its easy to focus on the love life of Jack and Rose but easier to focus on the indignation of the rich and poor and I think the movie might of underplayed that. Which is acceptable.

Its easy to say the movie was a tragic one but its easier to say it represents a heart of darkness and it is that darkness that makes one cry. Its extremely well filmed. The filmography is brilliant, the music enumerates and over all the entire film compliments itself each second.

There was a dispensation in film making of peak performances, this era seemed to last less than twenty years, this film was filmed during it,

Ancient Aliens (2009– )
4/10
Less informative and more monotonous
18 December 2018
Ancient Aliens is now at season eleven. Season ten seems to be repeating portions from previous seasons. I feel as though are relying on our bad memories to keep this dream alive. Ancient Aliens seems to attempt at mingling modern technology with ancient stone structures. A lot of the reps in this show seem to simply allow their minds to run wild and are not actually considering what they are saying.

Every now and again this show does present interesting ideas, A lot of it is not factual despite they say it is. I feel like I have to wade through copious amounts of imagination in order to come across relevant and likable information.

For the most part the show is extremely redundant, monotonous and generally bland. Not much thought has gone into this theory which is what often makes it frustrating.

Gorgiois spin off, in search of ancient aliens, I personally found to be far more interesting.

This show could of easily been compacted into two large seasons.

Expounding Documentary.
14 December 2018
Many years ago I had an idea that something like what is described in this documentary, was a reality. Rigged sports made sense to me but after asking a few people if this was a possibility, no, was my consistent answer.

So eventually I forgot about the idea, until I watched this documentary. Not surprising, I doubt the Russians are the first people to come up with this ingenious idea. This show only settled my preconceived conviction from many years ago. Surely this corruption can traverse beyond Olympics? beyond sport?

The lay out and manner in which this show was represented, its brilliant and captivating, it makes you think and consider things. It definitively palms of credibility to conspiracy theorists and the like.

Glancing through the comment section, it seems to be black and white. On one hand many are astounded by this and on the other, many are not. I did find myself asking " Is this fiction?" Like all things I am slow to dismiss it until I am satisfied whether it is either plausible or improbable. Sport is a very influential outlet, holistically and atomistically, that is to say it affects some or all. There is no doubt that corruption would be ripe with in it, there are many reasons for it, such as money. Is this propaganda? Im not going to go to Russia, nor meet a Russian or its president, what purpose does this serve to me? Other than confirm with in my own mind that a potential and insidious poison lays dormant? and who is to say when, where or how it is activated? I would not consider this documentary to be propaganda. Such a mechanism is generally used to concisely dissuade the mind into a common belief usually achieved through the use of basic repetition or persuasive statements.

This film does not do that. Not only does it not do it but if it did, it would successfully nullify sport. Sport would and could be a greater instrument of propaganda than media currently could be.

All things considered, this is a piece worth watching.

Maybe he didnt die?
5 December 2018
I considered this box set to be the best show I have watched in a long time. The people involved in this investigation were professional people that would not waste their time with fanciful conspiracy theories.

I was disappointed with Robert Baer but as time went on I found him to be an invaluable member of this show. Tim Kennedy in my mind was the man for the job and undoubtedly added enormous authenticity to this show. Gerard William was an invaluable member that was able to contribute tremendously to the validity of this investigation.

Nada. Lenny, Mike and James simple fortified the incontrovertible inevitable conclusion of this cold case four fold.

The discoveries made changed history and I found the entire thing quite bewildering. During the second and third season it just got deeper and deeper, I was constantly wondering, how will this end?

I doubt this case could of been easily conducted earlier than sixty years ago.

The only thing I can recommend, before watching this, learn all you can about the Nazi regime.

The begging of the end.
23 August 2018
This is a great movie. It has brilliant actors and actresses who captivate the concept of batman very well. The settings for this movie are laid out extremely well. THe movie has integral witty substance and it is this which makes it a great movie. I enjoyed that fact that at the end one does not need to sit through a number of credits, waiting for a silly clip to tie the next movie in. The marvel and DC movie making has become as tasteless as as arnotts butternut snap biscuit and as boring as the wrapping for a cheeseburger franchise. Movies like this one are the only reason the string of super hero movies has any ground to stand on.
