The Emoji Movie (2017)

not good not bad

The idea that emoji have emotions is on first hand terrifying bad but in other hand it could be fun.Is it?

It is produced in Sony Pictures Animation.The director is Tony Leonid.He is obviously complexes by being different.He said that movie is very personal to him.

The animation is very flat and bad.This is actually most fast made movie ever. Voice cast is only thing that is OK and high rated( T. J. Miller, James Corden, Anna Faris...) Plot?Not so bad if you ask me.Very straight forward,for kids.I will not talk about it for no making spoilers. Characters?Flat as emoji. ALL IN ALL:flat movie for kids that don't mind what are they looking at. All time I felt like I watching ads.I'll give 3 stars for voice casting and +1 star because of OK jokes,world inside your phone and not being very bad.

Finding Dory (2016)

not so good,but enjoyable

This film is sequel of legendary Finding Nemo,the expectations was really big.The Finding Dory is not so good ad F.N.,but it wasn't disappointment (for me). You can see that review writers gives very bad judgement.I can not agree with that.

The concept of film is quite stupid,but it is still watchable. The Dory always was second -comedy character.I did not expected that.But,there are some new characters(mark more). Film is comedy but not so stupid.I have not felt any forced humor.It was really funny! The 3/4 of film is great,but on the end is maybe overcrowded;too much action.After all,film really touched me. The animation is great,because it is still Pixar.The new tehnology is used,what is commendable. I highly recommend this film for whole family.Kids will not get bored and the adults will learn something. 7/10

Cars 2 (2011)

enjoyable

It is true that this film is not like others Pixar films.But it is not acctualy so bad.Many review-writers is telling that this film is huge disappointment,and I think it is not true.I think that expectations was too big.

So,this is story about cars.About one friendship.They are completely different,but they are best friends.There is lot of nice,simple humor in the story.The scenario is "smooth" and it is easy watchable.There are much of action,surprises,cool techniques,like in James Bond. Yes,we could not expect that,but it is really OK .The characters are in many different places and they are meeting a different people.Characters are 3D,they have feelings and we feel empathy about them.

But,there is a "dark side" of film,which is not like Pixar.Enemies,propaganda and that stuff.These problems confuses and my 10 year old brother.It is not ugly or violent,it is just confusing to kids.

About animation,I will not discuss.It is still Pixar;great animations and visuals and everything about it.

This is family film and it is really relaxing and enjoyable.Maybe sometimes is confusing,but it is not acctualy so bad.Because of action and messages that film gives: 7/10

Kung Fu Panda 2 (2011)

enjoyable,but nothing special

This is not typical action film because it is comedy.And because the main characters are funny animals-fighters.The first Kung fu panda is excellent.Expectance was big and I think the second part fulled it.

My opinion:this is crazy action with excellent animation.And film is full of humor.I can say that this is actually a parody on serious action films.But action is quite unrealistic.Acctualy,whole concept is unrealistic and weird.You can see it on plot.And moverments of camera are too fast(for me...).

The music is very good.Chinese tones,deepnes etc.

Voice acting is very good,too.Very good experience.

The message of film is nice and highlighted.So,film is enjoyable,funny,good for watching together with family.It is nothing special,but fans of first part would not be disappointed. 7/10

Lupin III: The Castle of Cagliostro (1979)

great experience

Anyone who wants to watch animated adventure and action with sense,this is film for him!

I have never watched any Lupin series before and I am not a fan of anime.My impression about film:cozy,amusing,warm,artistical, for anyone.

After watching,I was thinking about it and I can not tell that this is average film for kids.There is interesting relationships between characters and some things are maybe complicated to digest.But you will surely enjoy in film.The characters are colorful and conical drawed.

Animation is very good for that budget!And scenery is carefully painted,I feel it.All castle is somehow putted in some logical entirety.

The music is,simple said,catchy and cool! 9/10

The Snow Queen (1957)

favorite film from memories

This is most beautiful film from my memories.After 10 years i found this film,although I have never read a book.

It is so charming and warm film,from the beginning.It is fairy tale but adults will enjoy in film too. It relaxes but it is not boring. Style is very different from Disney and today-films.You will really get into story and have a empathy with all caratchers.And that is something that today-films do not have.

After 10 years,I still remember music.

This really is film for kids,although there is some sharp scenes on the end,it is easy watchable and gives strong messages. 10/10

Rio 2 (2014)

Colorful,but nothing special

For someone who have watched Rio,there is no thing special new. On short,this is adventure film that should be for family.There is nice jokes and good sense for humor,but the story is somehow slow and boring. The characters are not new and they are 2D characterized. The only real emphaty I feel is to main character.

Fact is that good animation and music don't make film good.Colors and dance makes visual expression good,but not a whole film. Because of slowness of film,it is boring for young kids. But everything is made for kids and you will probably not watch it alone. In short,film is comedy with some message and that is all.

Violetta (2012–2015)

So bad that it is funny!

First thing that I realized was horrible acting.I really thought that actors act so bad in purpose!

Second thing:all of characters are little dumb and very,very hysteric. every dialog can be provided and it is so bad!

Third thing:the love triangle!Violeta do not know whom boy choose.

Fourth thing:Violeta have a father.He is trying to protect her.But he do not how.

When you look this show alone,you will probably get mad because plot is so stupid. But,when you look it with family or friends,it will be(if you are cheerful) so funny!You will maybe be able to get into story and relax. Because of that,i am giving 4 stars.

What's Love Got to Do with It (1993)

interesting biography

This is maybe a first time I heard about Tina Turner and her songs. In short,the film was very interesting.Acctualy,Ithink that every biography is interesting. The first scene is cute and catchy.But,for the beginning of the film,we see that her childhood was not happy.And that will form her adulthood. So there is one interesting dimension of film:the wounds from childhood.

Then we skip few years to the very important moment of her life:the first touch with Ike and The kings of rhythm.

The acting is amazingly good.I felt every characters feelings. The most interesting is Ike:he is charming but violent,from the beginning he want's to dominate to others.

Because of a lession that film gives and extraordinary quality of the film,it is useful to watch it.

Destino (2003)

Unforgotable

I first time find out for Dali when I was 10,I was in gallery full of his paintings.I was pretty confused because I habituate on pictures I know what they mean.So,it was my first touch with abstract art. And today,I see animated film full of Dali imaginary.I was lost for words.

In the first hand i was confused,from first scene,but positive confused.Confused just like when I watched the pictures.

I can not tell for sure what is film about.It is like poetic song,everybody see it in another way.There is some nudity in film so,it is for adults.I can tell the film is dramatic and beautifully animated.I will never forgot it. It is worth to see. 10/10

Turbo (2013)

dreams and madness

Only thing that I like in this film is that it is comedy. I love when film is realistic.There is one border between realistic and fantastic.So,short said,this film is too unreal.Yes,there is some border when you must stop dreaming and get the reality.The best example of that is in Monster university. I like the colorful characters:little granny,tacoman,automehanichar,weird snails,crazy racer etc. Animation is quite solid.The landshapes are nice,for kids. The music is,on some way,second rate.Yes,We are the champions and other music is cool,but in other moments is not.Sounds are the other story. There are scenes I love;potatoes and lawnmover etc. So,film is OK for 7 year old kids,it is easy watchable and wrecks the bore. 6/10

Ocean Waves (1993 TV Movie)

Special film.

This film is not like others,it have original story.Not like all love stories.It is about a boy,his friend and new girl in school.From the beginning I feel ambient:everybody are in same uniforms,friendships,envy girls...The relationships are real.It is very important in film.So,weird girl with divorced parents come from Tokyo and don't like others.Everybody is talking about her, but nobody talks with her.After so many conflict,boy understood that he love her.It really happen in real world.It is really special. Music is interesting,like waves of ocean. The animation and drawings in film are nice,typical anime style. There is some irony in some spots of film.So,it is not dark at all.For me,part when girls attacked her was really funny,somehow.And snapping each other... Film for one afternoon! (sorry for bad English)
