Brahmastra Part One: Shiva (2022)

Good Vfx.... that's it!

I've never regretted watching any movie as far as i can recall. Sure I didn't like many of them but never actually hated any of them. Well i guess there's always exception to everything, and this movie is one. The only good thing in this movie is vfx, rest all are plain bad. Don't think they even paid Alia to act, she was just for eye candy purpose .... always smiling and yelling "Shiva". I've seen her act and i somewhat like her but this is by far her worst performance (that i know of). Acting of rest of the cast is just avg.

Rating : I would rate this 4/10. You wondering where did rest 3 go? And if you have seen this you'll know - DIALOGUES, I've never seen such bad dialogues in my life. They even made Amitabh and SRK utter those . Both of them should sue for damages.

**Go watch Mahabharat or something similar or Krrish/koi mil gaya if into superheroes and give this one a pass.

Prey (I) (2022)

Close to og Predator.

Simple plot like other predators, but what i like is they didn't bring down men verbally to 'empower' the lead like almost every other movie or show with female lead does and instead they did with action. Since she was not skilled or strong she stick to her strength - cleverness and adaptation, she used what she learned throughout her journey to defeat this ultimate predator.

If you enjoy good action movie with simple plot, you'll most likely enjoy this.

~not sure what to write more so i'm just writing this to increase the characters so it can reach 600 required characters to post.

Rating : 7 and +1 because i like predator movies.

I really don't get the reason why they wanna burn down everything they built?

Everything was going so great till finale. And with the fianle whole season became pointless. This has to be intentional, as nobody in their right mind can make such a mistake of a finale. Don't get me wrong, it was good but the outcome is what i'm talking about.

Rating : 0 for story, 5 for everything else.

It's far from perfect but it's a good old revenge thriller. I liked it.

Chris patt is at his best here.

You probably have to tweak your tv settings/max your brightness in pc... for dark scene, cuz they are really dark.

Stranger Things: Chapter Nine: The Piggyback (2022) Season 4, Episode 9

All the wait was worth it.

A bit disappointed by finale, but that's because the high expectations after last season. I really wanted a good showdown between 11 and one but sadly we didn't get it this season. They are probably saving it for next season. I hope they power up her enough next season to properly fight using her powers properly instead of just showing hands.

3 simultaneous events were too much, it feels like they pause one event for 5 mins to show another and then it kept going on and on.

Everything else was awesome.

Finally end to worst part of tvd universe.

Underwhelming story, any season of tvd or the originals is better than the whole series of this. The only reason i continued was because i was hoping it to deal with merge later on and get serious. Heroes were dying here and there and i felt nothing. I felt more when i saw vicki, rose, lexi dying in tvd and they barely had much screen time.

I don't think creators were passionate about this project, and they did it just to make money from the already existing fan base.

Despite all this, i would still love to see these characters after few years in a spinoff provided they can come up with good plot.

First Kill (2022)

Love the show.

Make sure you fast forward first episode, for me that's easily one of the worst pilot ep ever.

Rest of the episodes are really good, atleast for a vampire show.

I give the show 7, and +1 because i really liked most of the cast and wish to see them again.

Shadow in the Cloud (2020)

Just okay

In the beginning i thought it'll be good, but the 2nd half was disappointing. It's just dumb, i would have loved it if that was actually a highly classified intel than the baby. Men's were completely reduced to being useless to make the character superior, i mean they aren't civilians, they are trained people... should have contributed more. Their sole job was to disrespect the female character. I wondered if that was the main content at one point?

Watch for Chloe and some decent action, nothing much there.

Night Teeth (2021)

It's good for a vamp movie.

It's just a fun vamp movie, if you expect more you'll be disappointed. There is not much in plot and acting is decent, love the cast though. My rating 7/10. 2 star more because it's directly to stream and not costing any additional money from me.

Terrible first half of the episode, it was painful to watch. Although it gets better still it isn't enough to look forward for 2nd episode.

What an episode. I have seen so many shows in my life and rarely i was ever surprised like this. I guess mostly because its not a clever or intellectual show or even a high suspense one and that's why i never saw this coming.

Didn't expect much to begin with and beginning episodes were bad. I would have given up if i had anything else to watch. Episodes got better afterwards and ended decently. The story is just beginning so it has a lot of potential.

I rate this 8/10. Bonus 2 because i love the genre.

I can't believe how downhill the show has went. If i wasn't fan of tvd universe and love these characters and actors i would have gave up on the show.

Loved the show so much, it's far from perfect but certainly better than most shows involving magic. Starting was a bit weak but it gets better. Boys were just for eye candy purpose this time, hopefully they can fix it next season. All those training and they didn't do a thing.

Nothing in this episode was good except for the Rafael bit. Pretty much the worst story involving the legendary Excalibur, the whole scene was a joke . This show had some really good episodes but episodes like this ruins it. They really need to stop with monsters.
