Heartstopper: Boyfriend (2022)
Simply wonderful
This wee series on Netflix was sublime, beautiful, touching... you could go on. It makes one realise that despite everything we have moved in a positive way as a collective society.
See it, I wish I had this to watch when I was younger.
Midsomer Murders: Scarecrow Murders (2021)
Covid conquers Midsomer
This last series has really struggled to keep the viewer intrigued. Plots are looking tired and worn. Perhaps the end is near, it's been a good run after all, decades of good whodunnits. There needs to be believable characters and relationships rather than a potpourri of ticking boxes purely for the sake of some bbc bureaucrat . Art without freedom of expression is no longer art. Sad.
The Aspern Papers (2018)
Dreadful
Oh dear me, what a frightful mess. Really no or little story line with such wooden acting from the main protagonist it was painful to watch. Avoid.
