Gerald's Game (2017)

Don't waste your time!
4 October 2017
Warning: Spoilers
Slow development of the story. The story is very short, one game, not enough material to fill 30 minutes.

Bad scenes. The movie started with two people inside a room and continued until the end.

This film doesn't belong to any category. Sometimes the film looked like a comedy but without being funny.

This is an amazing and fantastic movie
3 May 2017
I went to watch this movie with my best friend and her father this weekend at the movie theater.

I thought that the plot of the movie was excellent. The beginning was very creative. The relationship between the characters was very complex and well planned. Also, the movie gave the audience a lot of room and freedom to imagine what could happen.

The acting was very convincing. The actors poured a lot of passion in their respective roles. The child in the movie showed a great range of emotions. The on-screen relationship between the police officer and the protagonist was awesome to watch.

This is an amazing and fantastic movie and I recommend it strongly. Go watch it now!!!

Interesting cyberpunk story
10 April 2017
I like it very much, but I haven't seen the Japanese version so I am not able to make a comparison with it. The movie made me really want to watch the Japanese movie.

Great story. I especially liked the way the main character's story is developed and explored. I liked the way the movie was coherent and flowed well from beginning to finish.

The actors actually did a pretty good job. Not the best of all time but I feel they performed very well. Scarlett was amazing and Pilou Asbæk really surprised me in a positive way. His action scenes were great.

The effects, visuals and art were very peculiar and beautiful in a cyberpunk way.

I know that it's a blockbuster movie including the expected clichés and over the top action scenes. An interesting story of finding yourself, I recommend this movie as I think the cyberpunk setting has a lot to offer the viewer.

It's a funny movie
22 January 2017
It was a funny movie. Paulo Gustavo was so hilarious, he really looks like a woman, it was sensational. It talked about sisters, how they fight all the time but still love each other, and it's always nice to see our brothers and sisters.

The cinematography was OK, but not sensational, just showing parts of Rio and not much else.

The music was good, it was perfect for the scenes and the situations, it was good.

Marcelina was so funny, she appeared more in this movie than in the other one, and she was really really funny.

I really enjoyed this movie. It reminded me of my mother all the time!

The fantastic world from JK Rowling.
29 November 2016
The movie takes place in the Harry Potter world. You can recognize words, ideas and places from the same universe, although the story feels fresh with original fantastic beasts. This movie is targeted at a more mature audience. The story is very creative, with excellent actors. The main actor, Eddie Redmayne, did an amazing job and created a peculiar character, better than our imagination could contrive. The movie has dark scenes but in our mind, only the sweet and pleasant ones remain by the time we leave the movie theater. JK Rowling mixed the real world with the magical world and in this way was able to create funny moments.

The movie is very good and you can enjoy it!

Worth watching!
22 November 2016
The movie is based on a true story. The job of the actor Cuba was wonderful, he interpreted the character extremely well. The movie is very emotional and shows us that most people have prejudice, and when someone wants to act differently, even with good intentions, usually they need to win a battle against society. Sometimes, people need more understanding, attention, and someone to trust in order to improve themselves. Usually, people don't care about others and don't want to waste time on them. The actor Ed Harris was pretty good in the movie too.

This movie is not the best, but it's a very emotional and beautiful movie, a beautiful lesson. Worth watching!
