Treason (2022)

Very boring and quite predictable, with no humor at all

Very boring and quite predictable, without a single glimmer of humor or self-irony.

Plus a real miscast: the wonderful actor Cox as a type is completely out of place here.

What, you say, this cute labrador is K and the chief of MI6 at 40 years old?! Are you kidding?!

All men are shown exclusively either as stupid weak rags, or as scums, or as traitors, but cool "strong and independent" women defeat everyone, sort everything out and punish scoundrels (or those considered traitors). The actions of the characters are half psychologically unfounded, the plot jumps around in such a way that the emphasis is completely shifted to the wrong events that are worth highlighting or emphasizing.

The ending is a little less than completely disappointing.

It's not worth wasting time on.

"JENKINS!!!"

"JENKINS!!!" That's all I remembered from that wonderful late seventies TV show. Tucker Jenkins, and Green, and their cool Teacher, of course.

It was quite simple, yet entertaining, showing real life and touching on important issues for that time and age.

I hadn't seen or heard of it in a long time, until I accidentally stumbled across it on YouTube, and couldn't resist re-watching the first six episodes.

The first three seasons in my humble opinion were the best, we were kin not to miss a single episode.

Well, and then often watched them, the themes changed, raised new issues with growing up. Although there was no humor for humor's sake, as in many American sitcoms, nevertheless it was easy, interesting and fun to watch.

A classic is a classic!
