Young Sheldon: A New Home and a Traditional Texas Torture (2024)
Unnecessary
I don't feel they needed to kill George when the final episode was an Adult Sheldon writing his memoir. It's a comedy show. Those who watched TBBT know that George died when Sheldon was a child. To have the last two episodes of a comedy series basically a tear jerker ruined it for me. It was well done, don't get me wrong, I just felt it was gratuitous. I don't feel they wrapped up the series. The last two episodes were the introduction of a new challenge for the family and a quick half hearted wrap up to the series. I just felt adult Sheldon could have mentioned his father's death along with the sale of the house memory in the final episode.
The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live: The Last Time (2024)
Mercy ending
Harlequin romance meets reanimated corpses. To summarize this 6 episode series, Rick and Michonne reunite. That's it. Nothing else made sense but I have to write 600 characters so here it goes. Rick lost a hand trying to escape years before and now has a cut over his eye that won't heal. Michonne stares a lot. There's a South African lady. Not sure what she did. She appears to be Ricks friend who occasionally points a gun at him. John Locke from Lost reprises his Joe White persona from Hawaii 50 as a military veteran who keeps secrets from everyone. Like Joe White, he talks in riddles until he eventually dies after revealing nothing really special at all. Jadis, who took Rick to begin with, eventually dies as well after a lot of heartfelt dialogue about nothing. Rick and Michonne have sex a few times each episode until they meet up with their kids again. We find out that despite a never healing gash over his eye, Rick can survive a massive explosion that kills hundreds of people and he can have a grenade explode right beside him and not die. If he could just patch that hole in his head he'd be ready for a cape and start leaping tall buildings while Michonne stares at him. Judith and RJ are on their own. Nobody from Hilltop or Alexandria showed up at the helicopter drop zone to meet the return of Rick. Two kids just wandered out from the trees.

Fear the Walking Dead (2015)
Have not been able to finish
I started watching fear The Walking Dead when it started because The Walking Dead fell off in quality. The first couple of seasons were pretty good but after season three, it became an absolute disaster. Season 4 was flashback, flash forward flash sideways and next to impossible to follow. I stopped watching. I tried again after the series ended to binge watch wondering if the disjointed episodes would make sense watching them with no breaks. It didn't. I made it through season 4 but honestly have no idea what is happening. I started watching season 5 to witness a plane crash. Apparently air travel has returned. I found myself doing other things while the episodes played. Things didn't make sense again. One minute Morgan and the gang are lecturing children about saving them and helping others, the next minute they're all spread out trying to find each other again. Anyway I turned it off when a hot air balloon is flying over the wasteland.
The Walking Dead: Dead City: Old Acquaintances (2023)
I tried, turned off
Sorry, watching Maggie and Negan bickering grew tiresome in the original series. After 20 minutes of the new series, I turned it off. I got to them on a boat crossing into Manhattan and turned it off. I do have questions. Where are they getting gas for all these vehicles? Everyone has a car and now a boat. A bar is running a generator for lights. A few years before Michonne was towing a car with horses; now it's basically rush hour again. Also, Is the sun missing in the new apocalyptic world? The last few seasons on TWD and this apparently this series all take place in the dark. Why is everything filmed at night?
The Walking Dead: Rest in Peace (2022)
Fitting Ending
It came and went as expected. 11 seasons that should have stopped at 7. Watch the realistic dialogue and themes of seasons 1-6 and compare to the horrible presentation that was seasons 7-11.
I won't comment on the HORRIBLE CGI.
Anyway, Rosita dies making 1 character we care about that died. Daryl rides off into the sunset with no explanation on where he's going or why. I guess he's abandoning Judith like Michonne. Negan wrote a letter to Judith. Apparently he left at the head nod to Daryl. No indication of where he went or why. Assume it made Maggie feel better. Rick and Michone returned sort of. He's on a beach of walkers in barefoot surrendering to a helicopter. Who, what , where, when, why and how he is where he is remains a mystery. Michone is riding a horse.
Anyway, what happened to Heath? Remember Tara fell of bridge and saw tire tracks leaving. Jadis later drove same RV in her last episode. King is now governor. That title works well, the last two governors have been upstanding characters.
Just glad it's over. I watch seasons 1-6 over and over. The minute JDM says, Hi, I'm Negan, it's time to restart.
Tales of the Walking Dead: Blair/Gina (2022)
Don't understand what these are
I'm a Big fan of TWD seasons 1-5. The quality of Season 6-11 disappoint as they're just a revolving door of shooting enemies. I watched Tales of the walking dead in the hopes that it was a return to the survival story of early seasons of TWD or FTWD. I don't know what these are. Episode 1 was promising but episode 2 was horrible. Groundhog Day with zombies. I don't honestly understand if this was meant to be a comedy but I certainly missed the point of this. Are these characters going to be utilized in future movies? Do they interact with current WD universes in any way? Why do we care about these characters?
Keep Breathing (2022)
Couldn't finish
I tried but turned it off mid way in episode 4. Nothing, I repeat nothing ruins a program more than flashbacks. I felt the acting was very good but just can't handle flashbacks. One or two per episode pushes the limit. 5 a minute makes it unwatchable. It took 4 days for me to get through episode 3, I really wanted to find out what was going on but couldn't do it.
The Walking Dead: After (2014)
Planning
After the farm collapsed, the group was all spread out yet without any previous planning, all instinctively went back to the highway and met up. Once they took the prison, they immediately parked cars facing out planning for trouble. Beth and Maggie both discuss in the last episode how they all have jobs so they've obviously discussed "what if" situations. If they've planned, you'd think they would have a rendezvous point for evacuation.
Friends: The Reunion (2021)
It was Ok
I don't mind the interview style reunion, MASH did the same and it worked. I liked the script reading over the scene, that was well done. Did not like the jumping from fountain set to studio set. I liked the off scene videos.
But one thing really bothers me. None of them would be anything without the show and yet the don't care enough about it to watch it? Mr Heckles dies and they devoted an entire episode to him and they can't remember his name? David doesn't remember the ball throwing episode? A couple of them said they'd haven't watched every season? I don't know, if I devoted 10 years to something that made me a household name and a multi millionaire, I'd know it inside and out.
The Walking Dead: Diverged (2021)
Sometimes less is more
These Covid episodes should not have taken place. Call it a season and try again. An entire show watching Carol pick weeds and Daryl fix his motorcycle just pointless.
The Walking Dead: One More (2021)
I don't understand anymore
I really don't understand what is happening anymore. Two fringe characters walk around trying to find food. I get that Covid is screwing up film schedule but is this really all we can get now? To summarize, nothing happens. A guy forced them to play Russian roulette for no reason.
The Walking Dead: A Certain Doom (2020)
Terrible
Ok, seasons 7 and 8 dedicated to Rick vs Negan was built up and built up and it was over in 30 seconds. Saviours shoot, guns explode and story over. Seasons 9 and 10 dedicated to the whisperers and Beta charges Negan, gets stabbed and story over in 30 seconds.
King et al take a cross country tour into Star Wars, that was stupid. Next week " Eugene, I am your father".
Maggie was able to walk through the hoard into the arms of Gabe. That was interesting. Everyone else needs a mask or clothes covered in walker guts. Who knew all this time one only needs a fedora.
Negan is sappy. That's always good. Turn your villains into Oprah.
The Walking Dead: The Tower (2020)
The walking dead
Well the show lived up to the name. In this episode, they walked. Daryl and Judith walked in the woods. Didn't do anything, just walked. Arron and what's his name walked in the woods. Didn't do anything, just walked. Eugene et al walked in a mine field. Didn't do anything, just walked. Carol and the kid walked to a car. Didn't do anything, just walked. Negan and Lidia walked around the apartment. Didn't do anything, just walked. Beta walked around Alexandria then the woods. Didn't do anything, just walked.
The Walking Dead: What We Become (2020)
1 or 10
Well, it was a 1. Stupidest episode on any program ever. Now, if I were on the same drugs; a 10. Seriously, who the he'll thought of this?
You: Fear and Loathing in Beverly Hills (2019)
Horrible
They turned a great show and a great idea for a thriller series into a clown comedy..
The Walking Dead: The World Before (2019)
Things you should know
I watch the occasional episode now. I figured you can watch once a month and still follow along.
Music guy needs a book and they forget rule #1 in walker world, clear the room. Hey music guy, Glen and Maggie forgot this when they went to get pregnancy test for Lori; don't feel bad. Sure, their dumb play was season 2, yours was season 10...
Carol, carol, carol. Remember when Rick met with governor andirons turned out it was a trap? Remember terminus signs and how that worked out, it turned out it was a trap. Remember when Rick tried to get Maggie to hilltop before meeting Negan, it turned out it was a trap. Now, we see alpha and she runs off into a cave. I'm sure this time it will be different.
Michone sails away with a stranger, makes perfect sense. Their doctor was just murdered by a guy they've known for months apparently proving they're in a war so it only goes to reason she'd sail off with a complete stranger. Can't see a downside here.
I can't wait until spring return. I can't wait to see what music guy does with that book.
Man of Steel (2013)
Horrible special effects ruined it
Before general zod, movie was 6. After general zod, 0. Holy crap did the special effects guys go over the top bad making this movie.
The Walking Dead: Silence the Whisperers (2019)
Pretty good episode
This was a little bit of the old show. Realistic problems to deal with. The walls at hilltop come down because of a tree and they have to fight off the walkers. Some character development took place. Lydia stands up for herself quite well, Daryl understands Negan. It is time to end the show however. There just is not any more story to tell. Whisperers, saviours, terminus, governor; the conflict angle has been done.
The Walking Dead: Lines We Cross (2019)
Nothing happened
Ok, so what did we learn? Carol instead of hiding in a house hid on a boat. Rosetta has a baby. New doc hitting on old doc who is having flashbacks. Daryl is playing Roman emperor. Maggie is still apparently living in a far off land. Michone is just uptight. Well, that capsulated the episode. Nothing happened, nobody died. Oh, they did practice killing zombies on a boat. They've been doing it for 10 years but now they do it in style.
The Walking Dead: The Storm (2019)
OMG!!!!!!
What a fantastic episode! I was riveted! I watched for the first time in weeks to see Maggie return, helicopters flying in, maybe Daryl dying and perhaps a few clues into Rick! I was gifted with so much more than that. Ladies and gentlemen. We got to see the group from the kingdom....walk to hilltop! I can't believe it. Did you all see when the walked up the hill. Oh man, they crossed a creek too. Now, heavy spoiler here, they did it in the...brace yourself now.... they walked in snow. Don't know if I can sleep tonight!!!!! OMG!!!! IMDb you need an 11 icon to click. They walked in snow.
Whiskey Cavalier: The Czech List (2019)
Nope
Sorry Lauren, you certainly escaped The Walking Dead the right time, but this isn't the answer.
The Walking Dead: Chokepoint (2019)
Didn't make it through
Well walking dead, you lost a viewer. "When was the last time any of you saw a movie?" Seriously, guns pointed and swords drawn and 'the Queen ' invites them to a movie and they paused with interest. Ridiculous. I've said it for a couple seasons, more King is bad tv. Henry is just another bad character.
I turned it off. Has to be something else to watch Sunday night.
As an aside, I spent today rewatching seasons 1-2. Watching the great show it was turn into the crap it is today is really depressing. Real life characters were faced with real life drama in the 'zombie world '. The situations were realistic. Sophia getting chased by walkers. Scientist at CDC working to find cure then giving up. Carl getting shot in a hunting accident. Dale and Shane at odds. You could believe the characters and their situations. This is just pure comic book crap.
The Walking Dead: Guardians (2019)
Who cares anymore
Seriously, who thinks this is entertaining? The reality of the show in the first 6 seasons is completely lost. Trying to survive in a world where the dead don't die is what built a great show. The relationship bonds that were built and tested created weekly drama. Every week you saw the characters and followed them. The Negan years brought stupidity to the show. The garbage people. The kingdom and now the Whisperers are just another goofy break from reality. Alpha is not scary. Walking around in dead masks is not scary. The show is just dumb now.
Whiskey Cavalier: Pilot (2019)
Don't know about it yet
I was expecting an "Americans " or "Homeland " drama and turned on a dramity that was not funny or dramatic. I really don't know where it was going. Every cliche that could be incorporated was used up in the pilot so we won't have to worry about the 'slow motion catch the vile' or the 'explosive tampons' again. I'll watch a few episodes and hopefully a story line will develop.
