A good fun entertainer.
7 January 2024
Mesmerising entertainer with full of fun. This show is first and only one of its kind in Malayalam, I think Malayalam never had a full fun filled comedy series like this before.

From starting to end this is like a fun ride, the entire series is filled with so many wonderful casts they all did there job damn pretty well.

Overall this series is an entertaining show, people can watch it in a single stretch without any boredom. Expecting shows like this more in the Malayalam industry. Sometime we will feel like TV shows like these are better than some movies. Thanks for the makers for giving us a show like this.

Low quality 'Maheshinte Prathikaaram' 144p
24 December 2023
The starting was intriguing and violent. I expected something like the epic 'Maheshinte Prathikaaram'.

But there was nothing, literally nothing, no revenge moments. I was waiting for any badass fights until the climax, like the good guy beats the hell out of bad guys, but I was disappointed to the core, Nothing !!! No goosebump moments nothing.

The movie just a funny kind of drama portrays a guy who marries a girl and some unfortunate event happens during the day of there marriage. And the guy obviously get distracted and tries to fix everything.

Both Shine Tom Chacko and Ahaana Krishna did justice to there roles. They did what they were suppose to do. But the flow of the storyline and the script not properly digestible.

Still the movie is not that bad, just an one time watch. For those who want to kill sometime and watch a simple movie without any expectations.

A commercial Exorcist Movie
3 December 2023
Despite the critical reviews, the movie isn't as bad as portrayed. It falls into the category of a commercial film, and it's important not to judge it by the standards of a classic like The Exorcist (1973).

For those seeking a straightforward horror experience without anticipating a classic masterpiece, this movie is a suitable choice. It manages to deliver without disappointing, as long as you approach it without expecting a classic.

While the reviews may suggest otherwise, For those seeking a horror flick without lofty expectations, this one delivers.

The film concludes a satisfying, almost happy ending that contributes to its overall appeal.

Joju George's excellence.
25 November 2023
"Pulimada" revolves around the life of a policeman whose life dramatically turns when his fiancée disappears on the day of their wedding.

Joju George's exceptional acting skills bring the character to life. His ability to convey the complex emotions of betrayal, heartbreak, and determination contributes significantly to the film's impact.

Despite the intense emotions explored in the movie, it offers a sense of closure with a happy ending. This contributes to its appeal as a one-time watch, leaving viewers with a satisfying ending.

Aishwarya Rajesh's also did a good commendable portrayal. Altogether the movie is a good weekend time killer.

Between Laughter and Flaws
10 September 2023
The movie falls somewhere between good and bad. It has noticeable direction flaws and even experienced actors deliver subpar performances. The script lacks originality, and when compared to "Mukundan Unni Associates," it falls short in greatness.

Nevertheless, it's a decent watch. In the last few minutes, Vineeth Sreenivasan nailed the entire show with his humorous mannerisms, and Sreenivasan, known for his witty dialogues, makes a commendable return to Malayalam cinema. It's heartwarming to see father and son sharing the screen.

All in all, it's not a terrible choice for a movie night. Keep your expectations in check and enjoy it as a time-killer.

Vadivelu and Fahad Fazil 🙏
3 August 2023
I was drawn to watch this movie for the talented duo of Vadivelu and Fahad Fazil, and they certainly delivered. As a fan of both these legends, I was thoroughly satisfied, as they showcased their signature styles brilliantly.

The film revolves around the prevalent caste system in Tamil Nadu, a subject commonly explored in recent Tamil movies. While the overall movie may be considered average, it is the masterful performances of Vadivelu and Kerala's own FaFa that truly steal the show. Don't expect anything extraordinary from the hero and heroine, as the true stars are undeniably the maestro Vadivelu and Fahad Fazil!

Underrated Gem !!!
2 August 2023
What a captivating movie! An underrated gem, flawlessly executed and one of the most remarkable recent Malayalam films. Everything about it is impeccable - the script, screenplay, storyline, climax, and the cast. Each actor portrayed their role exceptionally well, making the movie a true masterpiece. Instead of opting for a high-stardom superstar, the makers wisely chose a relatively less popular actor for the lead role. They understood that the script itself doesn't demand a typical hero figure, as the compelling storyline has the power to transform anyone into a hero. This bold decision added depth and authenticity to the film, proving that a well-crafted script can elevate any performer to greatness.

The Malayalam movie industry has a reputation for producing high-quality films, and this one is another shining example in its illustrious history.

If you are looking for a flawless thriller with a mind blending twist, you can go for this.

Engaging Thriller !!!
1 August 2023
A gripping thriller that successfully keeps the audience on the edge of their seats. The first half of the movie captivates with its suspenseful storytelling. However, in the 2nd half and towards the end, the pacing slows down as viewers start to figure out what's happening.

Aparna Balamurali once again proved with her versatile performance, Kalabhavan Shajohn with his usual 'Drishyam' style 'disgusting' villain police officer manarisms ruled the screen and Harish Uthaman with his style in converging the dialogue presentation made his role a mesmerising one.

Nevertheless, the overall movie remains a decent thriller. Once again, the Malayalam movie industry impresses with its ability to create engaging thrillers like this.

Just an ordinary Action movie with a legendary touch.
30 July 2023
A very normal Action movie with nothing extraordinary. The one and only thing which made this movie special is the presence of legend Jackie Chan.

The true essence that made this film extraordinary lies in the presence of the iconic Jackie Chan. It's truly a delight to witness Jackie Chan grace the big screen once more. As a devoted fan of his mesmerizing past performances, the experience was filled with nostalgia and joy.

Immense admiration goes to Jackie for delivering remarkable action sequences even at this stage of his career. Additionally, the inclusion of John Cena alongside Jackie was a good watch !!!

Overall a nice entertainer, which you can watch to kill some time without any expectations.

A better watch !!!
30 July 2023
This movie offers a truly unique kind of storyline with an intriguing beginning and a satisfying conclusion. While it maintains an average pace from start to finish, it deserves a higher rating than the 5.9 on IMDb - a solid 6.5, in my opinion.

This movie stands out in the Malayalam movie industry for bravely delving into the disturbing reality of the caste system that still persists in rural Kerala, a subject not often explored in Malayalam cinema in these recent times.

Though some actors deliver only average performances, it remains a great choice for a pleasant evening OTT watch with family.

Bad One
17 July 2023
Biju Menon holds a special place in my heart as my all-time favorite hero in Malayalam cinema. Guru Somasundaram, his portrayal as the super villain in Minnal Murali showcased his exceptional talent, leaving me eagerly anticipating his future roles in equally remarkable characters. Unfortunately, this particular movie turned out to be a significant misstep for these gifted actors. The script, screenplay, and overall story lacked the depth necessary to captivate the audience and keep them on the edge of their seats. While the movie initially started off on a promising note with its unique narration style, it quickly deteriorated after the first 30 to 40 minutes.

Full of crap !!!
9 July 2023
I am a huge fan of Siddharth, and I have enjoyed most of his movies as they generally have a lot of substance. However, I was disappointed to see him in this particular film. I couldn't understand why such a talented actor like Siddharth would choose to act in a movie of this quality.

I came across this movie on Netflix, and initially, I was intrigued because it was released in multiple languages and seemed to have a high budget. I had hoped for something along the lines of "Pushpa" or "KGF" with a perfect blend of entertainment and commercial elements. Unfortunately, this movie fell short of my expectations. It was filled with unnecessary and excessive elements that didn't contribute to the story.

The only redeeming factor in the film was the comedy provided by Yogi Babu. However, everything else, including the plot, characters, and execution, was disappointing and felt like a waste of time.

Engaging one.
1 July 2023
Exhilarating and captivating, this crime investigation thriller marks a groundbreaking moment in Malayalam. Normally in English the Tv Shows are much more astonishing than the Movies in terms of story, casting etc... On the same way in our Malayalam industry we got a series which surpass movies in terms of everything. The series boasts remarkable cinematography, flawless casting, a masterfully crafted storyline, and a satisfying climax. Every element falls into place seamlessly, resulting in a resounding success.

Moreover, the performances delivered by the emerging actors are nothing short of exceptional. The director deserves commendation for skillfully discovering and placing the perfect talents in their respective roles for this series. Ultimately, this latest addition to the Malayalam industry delivers a truly unique and immersive experience, this time in the form of a captivating mini series.

Not a good one not bad either.
29 June 2023
A happy ending funny movie with some fun elements portrayed by Nandu and Suresh Krishna. No special performance from Arjun Asokan and Anna Ben.

The film revolves around the love story of two couples, which turns into something dramatic. Unfortunately, Netflix's recent Malayalam movie releases have been lackluster, and this film falls into that category. Nevertheless, if you're looking to watch a movie on Netflix without spending money at the theater, then this movie is a decent option. It provides a typical Malayalam movie experience with a few amusing moments, making it suitable for passing the time. Just keep your expectations in check and enjoy it for what it is.

An astounding journey through Time.
4 June 2023
I deeply admire the creators of this series for their remarkable effort in bringing the prehistoric era to life through animation. The level of authenticity achieved in portraying this ancient period is truly impressive, as it becomes challenging to discern whether it is animation or actual footage.

The attention to detail in the animation, from the movements of the dinosaurs to the lush landscapes, creates a captivating and immersive experience for viewers.

In my opinion, it would be highly beneficial for schools to incorporate this show into their academic curriculum, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to witness and learn from this exceptional series.

THE REAL KERALA STORY.
20 May 2023
In this age of hatred, even people in the film industry are succumbing to political inclinations and producing movies that favor certain political parties while tarnishing the reputation of the entire state of Kerala. However even in this landscape, there are also cinematic gems emerging that shed light on the indomitable spirit and heroic deeds of Keralites during the catastrophic floods of 2018.

This movie provides a profound and heartfelt "proud to be a Malayalee" moment. Every member of the cast impeccably portrayed their respective roles, delivering stellar performances that resonated with authenticity and emotional depth. From the lead actors to the supporting cast, each individual skillfully brought their characters to life, captivating the audience with their nuanced portrayals and virtuous delivery. Their collective commitment and dedication to their roles resulted in a truly memorable cinematic experience that will undoubtedly leave audiences feeling a deep sense of pride for being part of the vibrant Malayalee community.

Brutally Intense !!!
7 May 2023
With its brutal intensity and gruesome imagery, Evil Dead Rise resurrects the undead in a way that will leave horror fans satisfied. The movie delivers masterful moments of terror that will satisfy all horror movie fans. While it may not reach the level of the first Evil Dead movie, it still does justice to the entire Evil Dead franchise thus far.

As usual, this one is not for the faint-hearted. Fans of the previous entries in the franchise, however, will not be disappointed with this latest installment. With its macabre imagery and spine-tingling scares, Evil Dead Rise delivers all the horror and gore that fans have come to expect from the series. If you're a fan of the Evil Dead movies, this latest addition is a must-watch.

Engaging Political Drama with Impressive Performances
22 April 2023
I found the movie to be an engaging political drama with a fresh storyline and entertaining humor. Suraj delivered an impressive performance, perfectly embodying his character. The new actress, Bhama, made a remarkable screen debut, showcasing her talent with great screen presence. Additionally, PP Kunjikrishnan and Rajesh Madhavan shone in their roles, demonstrating their acting prowess and promising a bright future in the Malayalam movie industry. Also it's great to see Babu Antony back in Malayalam after a long interval. Overall, the movie offers an enjoyable cinematic experience that is sure to captivate audiences.

A Timeless Masterpiece of Indian Cinema
9 April 2023
This movie was released in 2002, and as I write this review on April 9, 2023, I regret not having watched this cinematic masterpiece sooner. Mani Ratnam, the director of this film, has once again demonstrated his immense talent in crafting a story that tugs at the heartstrings of even the most hardened viewer. The musical genius of A. R. Rahman is also evident in the movie, as the songs and background score are simply outstanding.

The entire cast has given an exceptional performance, but special mention must be made of Keerthana Parthiepan, who portrayed the role of the child Amudha with great finesse. The movie sends a powerful message, and each character in the film embodies that message beautifully.

Mani Ratnam's impeccable talent in casting is also evident in this movie, as each actor (especially R. Madhavan and Simran) fits their role perfectly. Overall, this movie is a timeless classic that deserves to be watched by everyone who appreciates good cinema.

Intersting gangster movie.
7 April 2023
While some may view this movie as a cliché gangster film, I found it to have a unique quality that set it apart. Perhaps it was due to the musical genius of AR Rahman, whose score played an incredibly important role in the film. Without his tremendous music, the movie would have been incomplete, unable to survive on the typical gangster storyline alone. The soundtrack added a depth and emotion that elevated the film to a higher level, making it truly memorable.

While the movie started slow and felt somewhat boring at first, it eventually picked up the pace in the second half. Although it didn't quite match up to Gautam Vasudev Menon's other epic films like "Kakka Kakka", it still had the usual magic that fans have come to expect from his work. While some viewers may find it to be a typical gangster movie, the film manages to serve justice to the genre, providing an engaging and entertaining experience. Despite its slow start, the movie ultimately delivers a solid performance, with a satisfying storyline and memorable characters.

Swasika Shines
6 April 2023
Nearly 12 years before Fahadh Fazil started the deep French kissing Feud in Malayalam film industry from his movie Chappa kurish. Now Tovino and Roshan Mathew entered into that row.

Speaking about the movie, the film's direction by Sidharth Bharathan is truly commendable, and Swasika's performance in this Erotic Thriller Drama is exceptional. It's hard to imagine anyone else in the lead role, as Swasika truly owns the character. This movie is a game changer for Swasika, who has previously been relegated to supporting roles. Her portrayal in this film demonstrates her incredible talent and versatility, proving that she can excel in any role she takes on.

5 April 2023
The movie in question turned out to be a delightful surprise, offering plenty of comedic moments and solid entertainment value. Each of the characters played their roles with conviction, contributing to the overall entertainment of the movie.

Initially, I had anticipated a less amusing experience, but the film exceeded my expectations and left me laughing throughout. The movie in question boasts a highly unpredictable twist element which some what amuses the viewers. Saiju Kurup is well suited for the 'gunda' character like this. All in all, it was a well-executed comedy that succeeded in delivering on its promise of entertainment.

A Tedious Watch: Lack of Entertainment
5 April 2023
The movie in question proved to be a rather tedious watch, lacking in any meaningful entertainment value. Nowadays, there seems to be a growing trend of movies based on real-life events, many of which manage to strike a balance between being informative and amusing. Unfortunately, this particular movie failed to achieve that balance and instead seemed to focus solely on relaying the events of the real-life incident in a dry and uninspiring manner. Watching this movie felt like a waste of time, with few moments of levity to break up the monotony. Given its lack of engaging elements, it might have been better suited for an initial release on an OTT platform, allowing viewers to skip over the more tedious scenes and watch at their own pace.

Terrible movie
4 April 2023
I just finished watching one of the Terrible movie released this year. As a big fan of Selvaraghavan's work, I've seen most of the movies he has directed. However, I have to say that he is not a good actor. Additionally, I found the movie script to be outdated and regressive in some ways. While it's true that giving mobile phones to young children is not advisable, considering gadgets and mobile phones as inherently evil is a misguided perspective. In reality, gadgets have made our lives better in many ways. Of course, moderation is key, and promoting violence and killing in is never acceptable.
