Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law (2000)
The Power... Of Attorney!!!
Out of all of the Adult Swim shows this one is one of the best. It follows Harvey Birdman, a superhero gone attorney who went to a 3-hour law school, works with a purple hippo, and whose boss can't wait to fire him. Some situations show Shaggy and Scooby-Doo smoking pot, Race Bannon fighting for custody, and Secret Squirrel flashing people. All of these situations are handled masterfully and couldn't have been done better. If you're looking for a fun Hanna Barbera attorney romp you're in the right place. My recommendations for episodes are The Dabba Don, Blackwatch Plaid, and Bannon Custody Battle.
Becoming Bond (2017)
Great Film that was Incorrectly Advertised for
This is not a movie about James Bond, it is about George Lazenby. Bond isn't even brought up until 2/3 through the movie (not counting the intro). With that aside, this is a pretty good movie. George Lazenby is very amusing, and most people will at least get a few laughs out of this. Most of the movie follows his love life and if you are looking for a movie about his love life then you're in luck, but if you're looking for a bond movie then look somewhere else.
Robot Chicken: Hemlock Gin and Juice (2012)
What Every Robot Chicken Episode Aspires to Be
Wow. This is one of the best Robot Chicken episodes, if not THE best Robot Chicken episode ever created. The Dora the Explorer skit was fantastic, and is now among the most popular. Plus in the same episode was the Thomas the Tank Engine sketch which was phenomenally done, and shouldn't be overlooked. Also Fire Hydrant Sex. Really, if you're reading this then go make a Hulu account and watch it already.
Delocated: Midnight Munchingtons (2012)
A Highlight of a Mostly Mediocre Season
Sure, it's nonsensical and a dumb premise for an episode, but for some reason it just works. I thought because of the previous episodes in season 3 that Delocated had fallen apart as a show. But this episode is a reminder of how good Delocated can get. I found it really funny that Jon, despite having no previous cooking experience, (unless you count Skins or Dog Mayor) makes such complicated dishes. The one thing that I didn't like though was Jon having sex with his pillow. (Why would he specify which Susan he would be having sex with?) But overall this is just a funny episode and a worthy addition to the relatively short list of good Delocated episodes.
Aqua Teen Hunger Force: Totem Pole (2012)
Needs some instructions to know how to rock
While recently rewatching Aqua Teen Hunger Force, I cam across this episode and thought, "What the hell is this.?" I didn't remember and totem pole episode and didn't really remember much about this season of Aqua Teen anyways. And after rewatching this episode, I can safely say that I can see why I didn't remember it. It was boring as hell. Most of the episode is just spent having Carl and Shake (usually a pretty funny combination especially in Super Squatter) have their heads stuck up the butt of a troll. The beginning of this episode was pretty funny though, with Carl trying to pawn off all of his tickets on the Aqua Teens, and the parody titles of songs were pretty good, but other than that this episode is just boring.
Delocated: Lipples (2012)
Is This A Joke?
This episode is a slap in the face to any "Delocated" viewer and shouldn't have been made. First of all, they changed the intro from a memorable reality show parody into boring crap. Seriously, go compare them, the new intro was just unnecessary and all it does is add on the hate for this episode that I have. Second, just in the previously on segment, they removed 2 characters (1 killed 1 fired). They could've at least added some time in the episode to have those situations happen instead of just throwing them in. It just feels lazy. Third, without Jon's old bodyguard Rob, (whose character was just coming together at near the end of season 2 and was lazily thrown away in the intro for no apparent reason) things just feel off, as the new bodyguard just feels copy and pasted. Finally, this episode just feels unnecessarily dirty. Yvgeny having intense sex, Jon masturbating to a shirt, this just doesn't feel needed and never feels like it needs to be there. I am being generous with 3 stars as this episode does have Jon finally attempting to get over Susan, and the much needed promotion of Yvgeny. But overall this episode just feels like a rushed mess.
Aqua Teen Hunger Force: Handbanana (2006)
Great episode (Spoilers)
One of the best and most controversial episodes of the entire show. I never thought that anybody could make a topic like rape funny, but I was clearly wrong. If this episode was about a man liking Carl, that would be a lot more disturbing, but since it is a dog (if you can call it that) it becomes way more lighthearted and absolutely hilarious. This is a must watch for fans of any adult cartoon.
