Caught the movie 'Sasquatch Sunset' at a sasqwatch party at Alamo Draft House with the family (all adults) Still don't know how I feel about this film, but I now officially know TOO MUCH about certain aspects bigfoot mating behavior. The expression of the BigFoot as simple/stupid creatures is contrary to how I view a being that has supposedly thrived mostly unseen by man to the present day. I always picture sasquatch and much more knowingly sophisticated and cunning. Believe the writers were the same as the Fast & Furious Franchise as the sentence structure, pacing, and choice of vocabulary in Sasquatch Sunset are eerily similar to dialog between the Lefty and Dominic characters from Fast and Furious. Overall worth the time.

An original take on an old story

In a time when everything seems to be a sequel, remake, or marketing event this film is a refreshing change. Visually interesting, great writing, fun and bloody. My new favorite vampire flick. Highly recommend. Does a great job of blending history and fantasy with compelling characters. Always nice to know vampires can have screwed up families too! I love black and white films and the use of it here just drives the atmosphere in a really compelling way. I am normally not a fan of the subtitles, but not an issue here. Here is hoping there isn't a 'The Conde II' as this thing needs to stand alone, although if there was, I would watch it! Enjoy.
