Great TV

Shane Meadows makes it were you become involved,you can feel the character,this is a absolute master piece Stephen Graham is excellent as always ,Helen Behan is excellent too here and the surprise I think is that Niamh Algar was able to Act in the same level as the other 2 Actors here,She really is someone to watch im sure there will be big things for her in the future,the rest of that cast are also excellent,It can be slow at times but that is deliberate ,fantastically done in every detail,the only one I found out of place was the way the stout was pulled in the pub otherwise flawless,I just dont know what to watch now as having watched this , This is England 90 and Chernobyl in the last 3 days ,where does one go next. Classic T.V. this programme watch it and experience

I must live under a rock having never heard about this show and only coming across it due to discovering The Virtues and checking out Shane Meadows. I am currently watching this and am watching episode 3 where they all sit and have the talk around the table,This could be the Greatest emotional piece of film I have ever experienced.If anyone hasn't seen this then do your self a favour and check it out.Shane Meadows is a Genius and the cast are brilliant 10/10

Great Movie but

Everything has been said previously about the film its self I concur with all the 8/10 to 10/10 reviews except for the fact it is such a shame that this is the finale A continuation could have been done here very much so I appreciate the twist at the end and get the Director is known for such a style but I cant help wonder if it had the success of Split (im not sure if it actually had or not ) wold it have found another instalment Anywhoo it is a fantastic movie and probably one of my favourite in this Genre Of course as previously mentioned bye other reviewers James Mc Evoy absolutely knocks it out of the park with all his characters,Bruce Willis should really have as good roles as this unlike the Turkeys he has had over the years as he has Massive potential to be aligned with big films in a co host role Samuel l Jackson is as always on point he really is top 5 Actors of all time and does not get that credit deserved for me Excellent movie and I just wish we had another outing

The Matrix (1999)

Still Great to this day

When I first watched the Matrix it absolutely blew my mind away it was such a breath of fresh air at the time I just watched it there for the first time in a long while (4-5 years) and it still is a excellent movie I probably have watched the Matrix more than any other Film although a lot is out dated now it has a retro / old skool feel to it they Matrix story line and meaning are very interesting and multi layered I was extremely looking forward to the sequel originally but I personally did not think they were anywhere near as good as the original and would have preferred more of the same But Yes Great Movie

The Young Offenders (2018– )

Irish Comedy at its finest

I didn't know about The Young Offenders movie until I seen it pop up on Netflix, Gave it a watch and was pleasantly surprised and thoroughly enjoyed it, but the T.V. show is one of those rear occasions where the spin off is actually better. The cast are all strong characters and really suck you in , You gain a fondness for them all , The 2 Lads play a blinder and Hillary Rose is absolutely brilliant , it is great to see her finally get the recognition she deserves.Amazing how Cork is such a integral part of the show and P.J. Gallagher is hilarious as always ,I think the whole cast where cast perfectly and all do a excellent job,I have enjoyed previous Michael Doherty work republic of telly and the brilliant Horse Outside ,Rubber Bandits video . Its on of those rare moments in t.v. where it all works and I didn't think it would. Id say they had some craic making it as I think that comes across how they all believed in it too. My Wife and I actually got teary eyed a few times,T.V. at its best Cant wait for Season 2 My Favorite Irish T.V. show of the year 10 out of 10 You wont be disappointed.
