I love cronenberg but good lord this movie sucked. Too much CGI and almost no gore for a movie dubbed the ultimate body horror. Extremely confusing and boring story with absolutely no point. I really thought it was going to be great but after watching it and actually looking at the reviews I now see I'm not the only one that realised this is terrible. The set design is cheap, the acting is poor and the overall impact is absolutely nothing. As I said I'm a huge fan of off the wall horror and sci fi but this was literally just absolute nonsense especially coming from cronenberg. Avoid at all costs.

Braindead (1992)

Ruined the entire genre for me because nothing is better

10/10 THE GREATEST AND MOST SAVAGE MOVIE EVER MADE. I'm a huggggggeeee splatter and gore fan and since I saw braindead as a kid, nothing has even come CLOSE to beating it. It's basically ruined gore movies for me forever because no matter what I watch now it's just not braindead

The Banana Splits Movie (2019)

Absolute trash

This movie sucks big time. Watched it based on the parents guide of 'severe' in violence but it's weak as hell. Terrible acting and shockingly bad effects and not gory at all
