Law & Order: Criminal Intent: Maltese Cross (2006)
Logan and Wheeler...
I've come to appreciate the alternating partners situation that evolved after D'Onfrio had a meltdown over the workload. Goren and Eames will always be the heart of the show but it's refreshing to see other duos break up the monotony. Logan is a wonderful character and Noth is fantastic in the part. He shines in this episode but I don't feel Wheeler (Julianne Nicholson) gets the credit she deserves for her role in the series. She is so unique and has such a refreshing beauty and way about her. I love her restrained sarcasm. She and Noth have great chemistry and this episode is a perfect example. I wish she had stayed on longer.
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit: Heightened Emotions (2016)
Kim Rollins...
Someone just shoot her, stab her or push her off a bridge once and for all. Lord Jesus, whatever it takes! She and her recurring story line are beyond eye roll inducing and played out. She is quite possibly the most ridiculous, unnecessary and annoying character in the entire franchise. ENOUGH!
Chicago P.D. (2014)
I'd rather be water boarded after a quadruple bypass than watch this crap ever again
I am a huge fan of procedurals. SVU and Criminal Intent are my favorites but I get into all of them. After running out of shows to watch in the genre, I thought maybe Chicago PD would be worth trying since I lived in Chicago and it's a Dick Wolf show. I sat through a marathon on cable and let me be blunt, this show is so friggin awful its actually mentally and physically painful. It manages to be boring, unintentionally hilarious in a bad way and down right grueling all at once. The characters are painfully dull so much so that I can't even be bothered to remember their names. The acting is so bad that even the dude who played Bobby Brady in the Brady Bunch movies, who is so friggin hot to look at even bores the crap out of me. Everyone is a cliche but, unlike most cliche procedural characters, they aren't even cheesey funny cliche - they are downright dull cliche. The writing is terrible and lazy. They go to such lengths to be break the rules rebellious cops that it's just beyond eyeball roll inducing laughable. They break more laws than the people they arrest - which is beyond nonsensical. The captain with the annoying gravelly voice is grating, annoying and just plain absurd. The actor who plays him is so awful that you wanna just reach out and slap him. The plotting is so slow and hyper dramatic that it's both sleep inducing and ridiculous at the same time. How this show keeps getting renewed is a complete mystery. Dick Wolf must actually bribe NBC to keep it on the air. There is nothing remotely compelling or interesting in this whole mess. If you value your time you should avoid it at all cost. As for the user reviews that rave about it, those people are just plain stupid and will watch anything. The whole sprawling mess is a waste of a time slot. Save yourself the torture and avoid it at all cost. It makes CSI:Miami look like Shakespeare. The worst crap show on network TV and an insult to the city of Chicago. God, forgive me for wasting 4 hours of my life watching this steam pile of dog crap. The actors should be embarrassed to even list it as a professional credit. Better to be unemployed than be associated with this garbage.
