Classic IASIP.
9 December 2021
I don't know what everyone else is saying but this episode is fantastic. Absolutely hilarious. It's classic IASIP because they argue the entire episode about something very trivial while each character is perfectly themselves. Quote of the episode goes to Mac- "I don't know, they're at war.". Lighten up everybody, be glad the show is still funny.

Only Murders in the Building: Open and Shut (2021)

What a funny, feel-good finale.

The reveal from last episode came into play well. We get a satisfying ending to this story but also an intriguing start to the next. I loved Steve Martin and Martin Short way before this but seeing them in a TV show was great. Selena Gomez was surprisingly good and the story was interesting, never boring or for filler. Not gonna lie, it's one of my favorite shows that's come out in a while.

Not the best episode but funny character appearance and shocking reveal makes it worth it.

The character from Brazzos' past makes for some great comedy moments. Also the reveal at the end I didn't see coming at all. Great episode!

Silence can say so much.
29 September 2021
I wasn't expecting a silent episode but it was so good! It was captivating to watch as new details were revealed. Also, Martin Short (Oliver) falling over at the wake was just too hilarious. And what a way to end the episode with a burst of laughter. This episode shows that TV can still be good even without spoken dialogue.

A bit slow but worth it for what's to come.

Although the pace is a little slow at this point, I'm sure it will speed up as past seasons have done. The main cast is great like always. However, I think Oleg Burov's story this season is boring. It's what is slowing the show down. I really like Oleg when he was in America interacting with Stan but this Russian food corruption storyline is a waste of time.

Very emotional episode.

Warning: Spoilers
Being overprotective of your child is a good thing but there is a limit. This is shown in this episode which is greatly directed by Jodie Foster. Using technology to track your child's every move doesn't turn out well for this mother. It leads to a dark turn for her daughter as she did something I did not see coming. The scene where she beats her mother was extremely shocking to me (and somewhat unprecedented because she's not really a violent person). It ends with sadness as her mother looks for her.

First of all, I love Jesse Plemons and I think he is extremely underrated. He plays a quiet but dark character that basically enslaves people's minds into a VR game. The hero, however, finds a clever way to defeat him which leaves his consciousness in the game forever. I thought Plemons' character would live but he ends up dying. Very dark but very enjoyable episode.

I love how this episode is grounded in police investigation. It reminded me of Luther. As the characters find out robotic bees are being used to kill people, the episode becomes more tense by the second. The online Game of Consequences highlights how dangerous the Internet can be. The twist of the players being killed rather than more targets was so dark and unlike mainstream movies and TV where the heroes win, here they do not. The ending however does bring some nice closure.

Interesting but not as good.

Very simple story but a nice twist at the end. The episode started off a bit weak and some characters seem a bit weird. As the main character realizes the truth, things come into light that reflect our own society. I didn't really understand the ending but overall, it was a good episode.

I love how the romance is central to this story. As one character falls in love with another, the story goes to a place where other episodes haven't. There is a twist but rather than being dark, it's quite nice.

Great acting across the board. The premise is quite scary and the ending is so provocative. The characters have to do certain things in order to keep their secrets but when they do everything perfectly they are trolled(literally) which makes the episode very dark.

I do not personally like the main actor because he's a bit annoying but the episode is enjoyable. I love the concept of extreme virtual gaming but it gets quite scary. The ending is very mind-blowing because you think it ends but then it doesn't. It goes on until something crazy happens which makes you think how small things can have a large impact.

Very scary and accurate portrayal of current society.
12 July 2019
Warning: Spoilers
The episode shows people rating each other through social media which can affect them in the real world. This is quite a scary representation of the future because it could become true. Bryce Dallas Howard perfectly plays her part as a somewhat psychotic woman who needs approval and as time goes on you start losing respect for her. The episode ends with a nice change for her character but it felt a bit off.

Unpredictably good.

Warning: Spoilers
The story starts so differently that at the end of the episode you think you started watching something else entirely. However, that is fantastic because it all plays out so well. Jon Hamm is great but I felt that his initial story was given too much focus (although I do see why it was done that way because the audience would believe in him better). Rafe Spall is phenomenal in this episode. The ending is so sad and you root for his character. As he confesses without knowing, you feel extremely bad for him. The same goes for Hamm because he has to live a life of unknownness. The use of technology at the center of the story is great.

Black Mirror: The Waldo Moment (2013)
Season 2, Episode 3
7/10
A bit of a weak episode but still thought-provoking.
12 July 2019
Warning: Spoilers
The story is very relevant to today's society because of unprofessional idiots in politics. Waldo is a great contrast to the seriousness of politics which shows how people start to believe in him. At the end where the votes are being counted, and knowing how people can be these days, I totally thought Waldo would win the vote. However, he actually loses. As time goes on however, we see that people like Waldo take over society and make it somewhat dystopian. This goes to show how influential someone can be and how influence can lead to complete societal anarchy.

White Bear was quite an unpredictable episode. It started off a bit slow but it caught some speed as the main character starts to run. The plot about the signal seemed a bit off to me but in the end, it turned out to be part of a bigger twist.

Hayley Atwell is fantastic and portrays her character very well. Ash, played by Domhnall Gleason, is quite unfortunate but comes back into play in an interesting way. I expected his character to go rogue against his wife but the episode took a different turn which turned out to be a better choice.

I love the mystery and intensity in this episode and how it is all based on memory. Tony Kebbell is great and his character is one of my favorites in the Black Mirror universe. The plot is a bit predictable but it is still an enjoyable episode.

Fantastic acting by Daniel Kaluuya.

Daniel Kaluuya owns this episode. His acting is phenomenal and it makes watching this episode so tense and jarring. I love the concept of the episode and it is quite unpredictable. I would've preferred a different ending for Kaluuya's character but all in all, a great episode.

Quite a dark episode.
12 July 2019
Warning: Spoilers
This is a great episode but it is not my favorite. It is however, out of all the episodes of Black Mirror, the most provocative. The lead character does everything in her power to not get caught but she comes across as too overpowered. She murdered four people without being caught and that seems a bit farfetched for a woman such as Mia to accomplish. Overall, the episode is of good quality but some aspects seem overlooked.

I found this film to be 100% enjoyable because of the action and funny character moments. The story is fantastic and I love the plot twist about the Skrulls. I think the story was handled quite well. The first act was a bit off in terms of pacing but then it got back on track and became something great. I loved all the connections to other MCU films and I absolutely adored the Stan Lee tribute. I wouldn't listen to the hate this movie is receiving because I was completely blown away. Watch it and you'll see for yourself.
