The King (I) (2019)

Good

I thought this was a good and pretty gripping film. The action scenes were pretty great and gave us a good insight to battles of this time.

I thought Chalamet was very good in the role of King Henry V but I thought he was honestly outshone by Joel Edgerton, who was excellent.

I did think that the plot was a little slow and somewhat lacked any urgency, it did meander a little bit. I also felt they didn't quite capture the significance of what was going on in the plot. I think the decision to go to war with France should have felt more like a big thing.

Overall, a good, entertaining film that maybe could have done with being a bit shorter.

8/10.

Decent

Warning: Spoilers
I thought this was an enjoyable, if formulaic and at times predictable action adventure film. I haven't played the games but I thought Tom Holland was charismatic and likeable as Nathan Drake. Some of the action scenes were great and you could feel the Indiana Jones influence through out (mostly in a good way).

I was frustrated at how the Chloe character kept on switching sides, not allowing you to really get invested in her character.

The final set piece was fun but a little far fetch'd.

Don't go in expecting a masterpiece but rather an entertaining action adventure flick and you should be satisfied.

No cinematic masterpiece, but really fun.

This is the kind of movie you can just sit back and enjoy without having to think too much. Is it a flawless piece of art? No. But is it a damn fun ride? Hell yes.

Ryan Reynolds is as entertaining as usual and Jodie Comer shines.

Main criticisms would be that there were one or two cringe moments and that Taika Waititi's character is a tad over the top and annoying, but these hardly take away from the fun of the movie.

Go watch this if you wanna have fun.

Star Wars: Rebels (2014–2018)

Absolutely brilliant

Season 1 may not be great but seasons 2 to 4 are fantastic. Watching the characters grow is joyful, the relationships between them are real and heartfelt. The finales of each season never fail to deliver. Some of my favourite moments in all of Star Wars are in this show. Please, if you dismissed Rebels when it started, go back to it, it improved drastically. At its peak, this show is in my opinion superior to the Clone Wars. Please watch Star Wars Rebels, you will not regret it
