Frightfully enjoyable...(immediate chills)
1 November 2017
A wonderfully-crafted brief work that still manages to impart chills and anxiety at an accelerated rate.

Within just a few seconds of starting, the viewer experiences images and sounds that almost have a comforting familiarity...(as well as a very palpable sense of dread).

Many of us will be well-familiar with the setting (a starting scene that could be something out of any evening of any one of our own lives); the way the characters interact among themselves also lends a feeling of personal experience to the viewer.

By the time fear has truly settled in and grips us, it is already too late to escape. It feels like a gentle, gradual "easing-in"; being lured towards something; being seduced into a situation that is seemingly harmless (camouflaged by a force that has only one dark motive).

The film delivers enjoyable frights that successively occur, one right after another, to the characters. I loved how easy it was to watch and would relish a full-length version if ever possible. There are hidden secrets to be explored within this little gem; I found myself immediately searching online for information and interpretation (especially) about one character in particular right after the movie ended. Watch this film...simply brilliant, brilliantly simple...excellent work from Nicholas Burman-Vince...(I crave more now).
