The Last Ship: Endgame (2017)
Infiltrating a landing strip?
Infiltrating a landing strip like that without having control of the comm tower? Come on! Any commander would take that into account! They're making their assault, and then they're getting sniper fire from the tower? Writers, please!
Warehouse 13: Secret Service (2014)
What's with the 'Moe' haircut, Pete?
Pretty good episode; you've been playing up the antipathy between Claudia and Artie, and here is it's resolution. Nice. Cute.
Megan Gallagher - great job!
The Expanse: Doors & Corners (2017)
Naomi Na-ga-ah
That's how the name is pronounced. Dominique Tipper's accent is soooo annoying! Any 't' in the script is evinced by a glottal stop. Crap! What a plain Jane to play the part. I'll take Drummer or Draper any day!
The Outer Limits: Mary 25 (1998)
Sacrificing Technology to Fit the Narrative
With the technology that they have; interactive androids that include autonomous decision-making, incredible strength, and the ability to wirelessly communicate, WHY NOT REMOTELY MONITOR EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENS IN THE HOME? With the technology at hand, it would be soooo easy! But, that would sacrifice the whole unpredictable, dangerous killer-robot theme.
The writing and screenplay could definitely use some help here.
Lost in Space (2018)
Getting better with every episode.
As I have kept watching, it has gotten better. The storyline is developing apace as well as is the acting.
I do not understand what all the PC rhetoric is about, and I consider myself a staunch conservative. The only thing I could see was that everyone was freaking out about the handgun in the first episodes.
There is a lot of action and harrowing situations throughout this series. Many whining complainers have noted this, but isn't that what most people who like this genre are wanting these days?
In my estimation, most of the negative reviews are coming from people who evidently have no command of the English language - people who are not well read and have no place commenting here.
I am glad I kept watching. Maybe all the negative reviewers should have waited to see the development of the story before revealing their textual incontinence. Many TV series have experienced a period of foundering until they get their footing.
I think the antagonism between John & Maureen was not very clear - what all had happened and why they are that way. However as more has been revealed and they are getting past that, the mood is picking up!
I still think they could have left the whole Dr. Smith storyline out of it. They have enough issues without a deciever muddying up the whole story.
