Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story: Crown Jewels (2023)
I wouldn't even think this was to be one of my favourite love stories
Especially this last episode was hell of a ride. I cried. A lot. But not for a disaster or for a trajedy. Just for seeing how love remained. When they looked at each other under bed, they were still seeing those kids that are in love after all those years. And there was closure for every character. We could see which paths they choose to walk. And I, personally have grown love for all. As their nature, spin offs are quite tend to disappoint. But this was surprising. In a good way. It is not a ten because it is a cinematographic masterpiece. Even if it was I wouldn't know. It is just because I purely enjoyed it. Would I want an another season, NO. Now we know more of the world of Bridgerton, we know what those unspoken characters have been through. And that is quite enough. Queen Charlotte will never be the same for me.
Wolf Pack (2023)
Promising but horribly gone wrong
First episode was truly promising. After all those catastrophic fires around the world, I genuinely expected see more about how those kinda events affect people. And it felt like show was trying to do that. But no. It was just for the first episode. Then it suddenly turned into a cliche teenager show. Which is totally fine. But it could be so much more in my opinion. Relationships between characters were so weak and each individual made some progresses and changes on their personalities but when. Like I couldn't see when it happened. We saw people getting killed but for what. I don't think this is how slow burner works. There was so much time for us to see about their conflicts, motivations, their ups and downs but instead he saw those things for a moment then we watched them running around. I literally forced myself to finish the show. Last episode was really enjoyable but thats not enough to make a show a good one. I really thought that this show was going to be more than an average netflix show. :( I loved the pack tho. Hoping to see more of them on screen.
Grand Army (2020)
Pleased and Thrilled
Against everything about OUR generation, this is why I'm hopefull. The whole show was a big journey. They were struggling, trying to find their way and like it or not it was a discovery. Even the dark ones. Maybe for the first time I felt like I could see it clearly. Those kids weren't perfect. They don't have to be. They just stood tall, fought for what they believe. I think the show made most of us who could judge them and think that they deserved what they had, to understand and empathize. And I think it didn't make it in a nice way. If you don't like it, probably you should get your thing together and think.
