Frasier (2023)
WE ARE LISTENING & LOOKING!
Here's the beauty of the crossovers of this show ! I'm not going in order. David is the perfect extension of Niles and Daphne, he is not only someone who looks the part & truly acts the part, and yet, I can see a lot of Niles dripping into his personality, but I can also see some of the sweetness from Daphne that is prevalent in his character. Davids a lot of fun and they can expand more on him in the future. Freddy, who is Fraser son is a really good depiction of what he grew up to look like and be from the original series!
And, what's interesting, it shows Freddy with his cousin David, which almost symbolizes Fraser and Niles to an extent, even though it's cousins versus brothers !
However, on the other hand, what's really fascinating is that you have Fraser, who is now, the father living with his son, similar to what it was like in the original Fraser, but the other way around and more importantly , everybody is again on a journey. The loss of the father Martin Crane has been the air left over from the original show. This show breathes new life with the characters and some of the friendships. The only thing that's lacking in its momentum is the absence of Nikes & Daphne beyond Martin. I was extremely thrilled to see Roz show up, but many of us are missing some the characters that were the glue. One of the placeholders that has been on the show that's been amazing is Lilith and she kind of has come back. Actually she's always been in Boston but what makes this amazing is maybe, just maybe, the way this series will end after this term is that Frasier will realize the love of his life had always been Lilith and they can rest upon that thought alone. I love the idea of Freddy befriending his best friends/ widow and son, and I think predictively down the road, that will be the ultimate relationship. They all end up with his extended family and I could be wrong I think that the extension of the family like from the original series of Rose having her baby and having the support of friends and family and Fraser side of the family has been everything. There are many windows of opportunities here that play into other areas. Therefore, that's what I really enjoy and while it's not as competitive as the first original Frasier, it has room to grow to get there, so I'm hoping the studios hang in there and continue with the writers.
Genie (2023)
PERFECT HOLIDAY MOVIE FOR ALL BEAUTIFUL STORYLINE
This movie made me extremely happy. First of all I think it might be my favorite with Melissa McCarthy. It was just amazing. She was so perfect for this role and I love the way the story was told and I love the fact that it was funny it was heartfelt it was unique in a sense of being true to oneself as you'll see. I think that the ratings on this movie are way too low. It made me very happy and I'm going to watch it in fact again that's why I'm giving it a 10. I think in this day and age it's a safe good movie for everybody I think I fell in love with the main character in this movie very humbling very realistic. You can't help but fall in love with him it's just a sweet movie and ends up in really such a sweet place! I could say more, but I've said enough please watch it enjoy it. I think it's a wonderful little movie, and I think more people should give it a chance.
Escaping Twin Flames (2023)
THIS IS WHERE INSECURE PEOPLE GO TO DIE
You watch this and understand how one literally loses their self, their soul, their existence, their sexuality, and their future based on listening to two people who are such narcissistic individuals that they feel they are the gods connecting people to God. Yes, it's a cult. Yes, it makes me wonder how sick this world has become. It's so self-evident. What I don't understand is how these people are not held accountable. Where is law enforcement? Where are the people protecting those who need to be shielded from individuals like this? How is it that we have a society so in tune with the Internet and social media, yet we've never been further from living a life of hell, as it's evident to me now, very sad on so many levels.
This is nothing but people taking advantage of others. It's not even humans taking advantage of people; it's people taking advantage of humans. It's truly sad. I can't emphasize this enough. The show, to me, was very disturbing, but it's sad but true. When does this end? That's all I want to know. And these poor children who have been removed from their parents, who have lost their identity because of their vulnerability falling into this. How terribly sad.
Los enviados: Mi nombre es Legiรณn (2022)
It had me intrigued until this episode #7
This show starts off slow... and I mean slow. I was referred to it for it was compared to 3 Coins however the only Real similarity is the Actor and priests a a mystery but nothing like 3 Coins. By the 4the episode it started to get better but by episode 7 I lost all respect for where this was going... it ends up with a stupid stupid story line and I mean stupid... it totally removed my interest as soon as the wack job kid was behind it... where's the mystery where's the " horror" side of this and it's totally unrealistic If you must do unrealistic make it dark satanic fantasy sci fi not this wack job who manages to somehow take out 1/4 of the town... boring I'm so disappointed I'm not going to finish it. I've never ever written a bad review but at this point my eyes and ears hurt...
Billions: Admirals Fund (2023)
BEYOND PHENOMENAL THANK YOU FOR A GREAT RIDE!
This was an incredible experience, filled with well-developed characters and integrity.
It is bittersweet to bid farewell to the show, as in life, we must grieve the loss of something special. I will mourn the show and its memorable characters, even though Season six might not have been the best, Season seven made a remarkable comeback, and let me tell you, it was worth every moment.
Having Bobby Axelrod return was a highlight, and the writing was exceptional, to say the least.
The acting was outstanding, and the characters were integral to the story. The way they crafted the narrative was akin to creating a beautiful piece of art.
Looking ahead, it is hard not to anticipate more from this show, and I hope the creators and writers will consider that.
I can assure you, it was an amazing episode.
The conclusion tied up every loose end, with Wendy, Axe and their interactions, honest and bittersweet for possibilities.
The surprise of how Axe knew and anticipated Taylor was so very touching, as is how he took care of everyone based on loyalty, appreciation, as you will see.
The Growth of Axe, Wendy, Wags, Chuck, Taylor, who knew! I will miss you Billions you were a constant I hope to see again one day in some form.
Finally it was inevitable that Mike Prince would come down a few pegs... and he may have got his rock bottom... it may be what was needed... then again... he may just be back someday in another way... beyond Billions... possibly a spin-off to Trillions?
The Golden Girls: A Little Romance (1985)
Trust me I have eclectic taste in comedy THIS EPISODE IS 38 years old You'd never guess it!
A Timeless Comedy Masterpiece - "Golden Girls: A Little Romance" Review
As an individual who dabbles in the art of comedy, both for personal enjoyment and to entertain others, I must confess that writing a review with spoilers is a first for me. However, the hilarity and brilliance of "Golden Girls: A Little Romance" have left me with no choice but to share my thoughts, albeit with a sprinkle of humor, on this exceptional episode.
It all began when I stumbled upon this particular gem in the vast repertoire of "The Golden Girls." Despite not being old myself, I realized that it had been a considerable while since I last indulged in the escapades of these beloved characters from the '80s. In fact, I couldn't recall the last time I watched an episode. Intrigued by this thought, I decided to revisit Season One, and although the entire season was a delightful throwback, "A Little Romance" shone like a beacon amidst the nostalgia.
Let me emphasize that the writing in this episode is nothing short of spectacular. What astonished me the most was how effortlessly its content seamlessly translates into the contemporary world we live in today. The tone, the one-liners, the cultural references, and the impeccable timing all contribute to its status as a timeless classic that remains uproariously funny.
I believe it was the genius of Susan Harris who crafted this episode (or episodes). While I may need to delve deeper into her extensive body of work, I can unequivocally attest that "A Little Romance" has aged like fine wine. Apart from a few outdated fashion choices, the dialogue retains its razor-sharp wit and relevance. It's comedy that truly stands the test of time.
The ensemble cast's performance in this episode is nothing short of extraordinary. The impeccable timing of the characters left me in awe, reminding me of my appreciation for shows like "Will & Grace," "I Love Lucy," and a myriad of classic comedies. As an ardent fan of the genre, I can confidently say that "A Little Romance" was an unexpected treat.
It is bittersweet to acknowledge that the real-life counterparts of these beloved characters have since departed from this world. However, their legacy lives on through timeless episodes like this one, which continue to bring joy and laughter to audiences old and new.
In conclusion, "Golden Girls: A Little Romance" is a comedic masterpiece that transcends eras. It serves as a testament to the enduring power of exceptional writing, impeccable timing, and unforgettable characters. If you haven't had the pleasure of experiencing this episode, do yourself a favor and dive into this comedic treasure trove. You won't be disappointed.

This Fool (2022)
MORE PLEASE! I'm Beyond Loving This And Here's Why!
"This Fool" is an unexpectedly hilarious TV show with a clever touch of clean humor, except for some occasional language. Surprisingly, I found myself falling in love with the show's genius plot and its endearing characters, despite not being of Mexican/Hispanic descent myself. Julio Lopez's codependent yet sweet nature resonates with me, and Louis's character never fails to leave me in stitches. Witnessing Minister Payne's refreshing role post-Sopranos adds another layer of delight to the series. The way these characters intertwine and form a makeshift family is heartwarming.
The mother and grandmother characters bring an extra layer of depth and charm to the show. The writing is undeniably brilliant, offering a breath of fresh air with its realistic portrayal of life, sprinkled with hope and meaning. If you enjoy a comedic show that delivers both laughter and heartfelt moments, "This Fool" is undoubtedly a must-watch!

A Captivating Journey of Transformation: The Unfortunate Cancellation of "Fantasy Island"

The Mother (2023)
JLO BAD ASS! Love her in this!
JLo is Outstanding in this HOW TALENTED IS THIS GIRL! FEMALE JOHN WICK
DO NOT LISTEN TO THE HATERS
I CAN ONLY IMAGINE THE FACT THAT THESE PEOPLE HAVE NOTHING BETTER TO DO THEN COMPLAIN FOR ATTENTION!
A very good movie I really enjoyed it I love her I'm this character I loved the daughter too. It's really descriptive of any mother in my opinion and perfect for Mothers Day
It's one of those action packed and gut wrenching stories. They could have expanded in 2 areas with the trafficking and some more back story on some of the areas. It's great to see my favorite Rom Com gal in this movie I really wish they'd do another down the road. Might be nice to see the daughter grow up and save her mom against evil half siblings from the 2 bad guys who want to take revenge... I don't know just a thought!
Still (2023)
And I'm crying with Cancer! Huge RESPECT!
I've Always loved Michael J Fox for a few reasons... First he's a Fighter, always has been, He's also the guy who against All Odds believed enough to keep going...THIS this documentary Proves that and more. Recalling Family Ties and him meeting his future wife Tracey, she is the equivalent of a perfect match...this man brings joy no matter what he does no matter how he feels that is the constant from before Parkinson's and with Parkinson's. His ability to speak the raw truth and Embrace all sides of his life as the Eye opening example of the conflict of an individual who at a Very young age and on top of his game, Michael J Fox Faced Parkinson's starring it head on, not missing a beat! This young man is a true testament to love, gratitude, appreciation, family, hope, faith, resilience, and Truth! I myself have Cancer, unlike Michael I'm all alone, yet doing all I can within my circumstances... truth is, he will outlive me, and Good for him he deserves that and more! With a beautiful family this life has blessed him with, and the Integrity that he exhibits in speaking for many who have this obstacle in their life that can be debilitating - Yet Michael continues to Shine Throughout the Darkness, Embracing it and being that beacon of hope, faith, light, that we All should honor and I'm grateful to him and thankful not only for his talent and perseverance, but the Character that he is kind enough to continue to offer this world! I must say his wife is nothing but pure love and this family is blessed, blessed to uphold and embrace gracefully e the challenges that life brings... Thank you Michael, you are a Hero to Many!
The Diplomat: The Cinderella Thing (2023)
WHY DOES HER HAIR CHANGE @24:19-25:28 & Again @ 26:31 it changes AGAIN? ๐
Please tell me? Where is the Consistency in Filmimg this episode ? They obviously totaled the scene after her hair was straightened and shortened AM I THE ONLY ONE THAT WAS THROWN BY THAT? It was obvious enough to distract me... How did this get an 8.2 Rating Woth that ALONE... call me petty but where is the consistency needed for the flow without a break up of Distraction??? ANYONE ELSE CATCH THAT
ALSO the jury is still Way out on an opinion of this show, too early as I'm only in episode 1 but if I can catch the error, where the hell are the people who are suppose to monitor this? Sorry but that little thing is slightly irritating enough for me to write this review...
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel: The Testi-Roastial (2023)
CANNOT get better!!! Sorry to see this end
Might be the crรจme of the crop! This is the episode that brings it home! It humanizes Susie & Joel with twists of joy! Great writing Phenomenal Writing
Bittersweet and fills in the blanks! They could do a spin-off on Susie Myerson herself This is one of the greats! I love how they portrayed the unknown on Susie, the missing piece on Joel, the history with a glimpse as time travels with Midge. Really a fast full episode and All of them are precious yet this hits home to bring the puzzle to life. It's truly one of the greatest shows. At 14:07 minutes in, you will see the Grammy for Alex Bornstein! The relationship with her & Harry Drake, the softer side of Susie that is expressed with her secretary, and the Mob connection Omg! That also expands on Susie & Joel, the episode jogs back and forth with key players commenting & reminiscing the history And it is not going to disappoint! Bravo Mrs Maisel we will love this show Forever! By the way this episode was So good it could of been the finale!
Everything Everywhere All at Once (2022)
This Movie Only Works With LSD!
Might be the WORST movie I have ever seen... How ANYONE thinks this is good needs to put down the CRACK PIPE! . There is SOMETHING WRONG WITH HOLLYWEIRD & THE ACADEMY FOR AN OSCAR (MEYER) Yeah I think that appropriate it's beyond Awful & I feel Bad saying it, but I want my $ back AND I need to erase what my brain took in with this crap show! I have NEVER written a bad review! But I REALLY don't understand How anyone SOBER COULD GET THRU THIS! WITHOUT a doubt EVERY OTHER MOVIE NOMINATED WAS 50 times better than this... please help me understand! This movie Needs to come with hypnosis! Ugh the WORST! (EDITED DUE TO SIRI )
A Little Princess (1995)
ONE OF THE MOST MAGICAL BEAUTIFUL CLASSICS
Such a beautiful story I cannot say enough! Magical mystical and amazing acting. Very bittersweet! Beautiful in design and sets! Very poignant in the world of The Haves And The Have Nots! And Jealousy! A movie for all ages and quite admirable in lessons. Miss Minchin the headmistress is Nothing Short of the Devil. In a world that captures a daughter father relationship it's pure at heart. Devastating at times but India is a theme in this that brings Sara's world to a return of good. In the meantime the characters all have lessons as young ladies and how boarding schools can be decent educationally but the spirit of imagination that evokes the hope that we All need is in Sara!
Mrs Palfrey at the Claremont (2005)
Might Be One Of The Most Beautiful Stories Ever
This bittersweet movie is a gem that I've searched years for. It showed up on Freevee and I was ecstatic. It's a story about loss, reality, and hope, but mostly love. It symbolizes the truth that family is not always a blood relative and how precious life is. When this came out it was my introduction to Rupert Friend, it was so touching with him &
Dame Joan Plowright. To some it's slow in areas and perhaps not of interest with the main character being elderly, but we all become elderly eventually and the lessons in life and the moments we have had are meant to be shared are seen here. Beautiful.
Love Is Blind (2020)
I've Always said if people met in a room with bags over their face it would work better
Interesting concept. Id love to see what this version would look like for different age groups, especially over 50.
But that won't happen on TV no one wants to see anyone over 40, which is sad. I'm only on the early episodes for someone referred me to watch this.
I DO THINK THIS is the way to date for meeting someone that gels with you is what matters at the end of the day. I almost wonder too what would this look like in other areas? They did pick all attractive perfect bodied individuals I can't imagine anyone not wanting the person based upon their looks. I know one thing, dating apps are awful and don't work. Honesty, vulnerability do work. So with that they are onto something. Now
Maybe this should happen for 6 months before someone would contemplate marriage. Probably would put divorce attorneys out of business.
Mack & Rita (2022)
STOP IT!! You do Not get the beauty of THIS !
Ok let's start with the front runners in this. Diane Keaton & Elizabeth Lail = perfection. The entire cast is really sweet & amazing. LETS GET REAL
MILLENNIALS MEET SEPTAUAGENARIANS!!!
That is 30 versus 70!
PLEASE IGNORE THE PEOPLE ON HERRE WITH NO TASTE! I'm in the field of Psychology, this film is a fun and beautiful experience of what self acceptance, self love is meant to look like at ANY age!
This story is a tad mystical/magical, it resonates with Dorothy & Glinda in the Wizard of Oz where Dorothy is told by Glinda " YOU ALWAYS HAD THE POWER MY DEAR YOU JUST HAD TO LEARN IT FOR YOURSELF!
Keep that line in mind.
Eventually this movie is a touch of sweetness and crosses over all ages, regardless of age, body, mind, whether young/old, we are all the same. When I was young I took my youth for granted. Now older & wiser I may look great for my age but I'm not a young chickadee! So, this really shows how we can be our true selves and That is the Beauty in Life!
Reacher (2022)
I'd Like To Reach For Reacher ๐๐
Well let's start with this Might be The Hottest Guy on earth and a great actor! It's a really good show and it's really entertaining and the context of the show is so amazingly interesting! Huge surprise can't wait to see season two hopefully on this and great show great acting all the way around great story line, definitely though, he's perfect Eye candy he'd make a great Batman, he wouldn't even need the suit he's got the body, it's crazy, but he's also really a great actor, don't know where he came from, but he's good, worth the watch!
Dexter: New Blood (2021)
MICHAEL C HALL BETTER THAN EVER!!!
How could you not give this a 10!!!
This latest continuation makes up for the finale from 10 years ago!!!. I So love Michael C Hall!!! Amazing always amazing, great story lines fascinating with Harrison & webbing in the past! Genius!
The Undoing (2020)
READ THIS FIRST DOCTORS OATH
Decisions, they resonate with what happens in this series, as it is depicted well, while going back over things in your mind, and choosing to do the right thing.
It's very captivating to watch Hugh Grant after all these years come back with such a stellar performance and of course you can't beat Nicole Kidman, she's always phenomenal, the supporting positions of the roles are well played for sure.
There were a lot of negative write ups about the series, and I think I'm pretty good at having an opinion or two about things, because of my background for one, as well as, in all my years being 62 and a fan of anything cinematically made watching a broad genre, I would think that I can come to the table with a fair assessment.
This show is a combination of facing your demons and your reality, and determining what your truth is. We all make choices, the characters in this series depict that well.
The Many Saints of Newark (2021)
CANNOT GET OVER JAMES GANDOLFINIS SON & MORE
Michael Gandolfini really gave me goosebumps I did not know he was James's son in real life. He's a great actor as well. Great movie, so much was explained in this. The characters shown were explained & characterized well, the only issue is now I'd like more!
Dave Chappelle: The Closer (2021)
NEVER HAVE I EXPERIENCED GENIUS LIKE THIS!๐
I just watched the best comedic thing on earth.
Dave sincerely & truthfully discusses the LGBTQ community in a Raw form and he does it in a moving way.
I've always loved him.
But the Caveat in this is talking about Daphne a trans woman, a friend of his.
I was truly Shocked at the end the entire audience was.
It was shocking, powerful, devastating & insightful, but especially Non Forgetful and I must say Impactful!!!
I love Dave Chappelle even more by sharing his truth as well as he always does but seeing this today, he's a person with a beautiful heart and character.
The Family Man (2000)
ABSOLUTELY MY FAVORITE OVER & OVER
I love this movie for too many reasons to name. This could be many people for many reasons. It's not just about self, it's not just about love, it's not just about lessons it's not just about family and it's not just about humor. It also includes things that are pivotal for a sales person, insightful for a therapist, realistic for the "value" in life and the opportunity for a second chance!
