Inventing Anna (2022)
The accent...
I thought it was supposed to be bad..... Like it's just an affectation, not a legit accent... sort of like the "valley girl" accent but for socialites who want to fake some kind of worldly, "I grew up all over the world" quality.
Physical (2021)
Legit depiction of eating disorder
I can say this was a legit representation, it very much reminded me of times when I struggled with mine.... Not sure why people say it "doesn't bring awareness to eating disorders" - how so?? By being a realistic representation it absolutely brings awareness, and just because something makes you uncomfortable doesn't mean it wasn't well done. Oh and she definitely was bulimic (people wondered if she actually was or not due to no toilet flushing, etc).... When her husband comments on her eyes being all bloodshot that's from the pressure of vomiting.
Bridgerton (2020)
Had potential
I was interested at first, but I guess I just don't think there's any chemistry between the main two characters.... it started to get boring and ridiculous at the same time.... like the things standing in the way of happiness were so stupid and contrived.
Game Over, Man! (2018)
Finally a new movie that is actually funny!
So many comedies these days are weak and don't take any risks...this movie delivered on the laughs! I found myself rewinding several scenes to rewatch because they were so good. I don't know why people are shredding this movie...I hope they make a sequel!!
