Toy Story 3 (2010)

PIXAR MADE ME CRY FOR SOME MEAGER TOYS!

I cant say how much I loved this one. I thought 3rd one will not be that good but hell its the best in the trilogy. Especially the amazing emotional sequences in the end. The animation work is phenomenal and this one deserves all the praise it gets because this the series which defines generations and it will be always there as long as you live in your heart.

Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010)

Kung Fu Hustle type movie with comic and games references!

If you have no idea what this movie is about then for the first 30 minutes you might get bored a little like I did but then a strange twist occurs and the movie turns into Kung Fu Hustle over the topness with comic book and video game references and I loved every single second of it. Edgar Wright just do not know how to disappoint so far.

Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017)

Great step for Indian Cinema!

I loved the first one and there was no way I would have missed this one and ofcourse this one is also just great as in a great step for Indian Cinema and I do truly hope that this step will inspire a lot more huge steps to be taken in Indian Cinema. The story might have become a little predictable but then most movies are this way and all the over the topness can be forgiven since its a fantasy movie. I love this movie series and hope to see more awesomeness like this from Indian Cinema!

Baahubali: The Beginning (2015)

Not watching this masterpiece is a sin!

I am reviewing this movie as an Indian and I give this full marks just because this is the kind of movie I always wanted from India to be made but never expected to actually be made. I hate most of the Indian movies and mostly just do not bother but this movie just made me slap my self in the face. Among all the really bad movies this movie is like a shining ray of hope and not watching this masterpiece is a sin. So just go watch it!

OK so I know this is classic but still I was not expecting it to be good. But I was wrong and this one just rocks. Freddy is a terrifying psycho whom you wont want anywhere near you ever, especially not in your dreams. Ladies were hot and acting was good enough and Freddy was the best. So if you still haven't watched this one yet and wanna watch a nice horror movie then just watch it.

The Karate Kid Part II (1986)

If you like Miyagi Sensei, you will like this movie!

That Mr Miyagi guy is really something. He is my fav character and this one is about him and his awesomeness. And just for that this is a worthy follow up to the first one. You get to know about Miyagi's Past and you also get a nice continuation of the story.

Furious 7 (2015)

Not an action movie but a magical one!

Once the action starts it never lets go! This is what a perfect action movie looks like! You have to cherish every amazing moment. Especially in the end you will feel like you are watching a magical moment. Well all this awesomeness comes together there is no way to not love it with all your heart!

Despicable Me 2 (2013)

Worth watching if you liked the previous one!

I liked El Macho character but still the first movie was about stealing the moon while here its just cliche spy, romance, super hero stuff and those were the parts which just werent that good for me while still this movie is good due to all the minion antics and a little bit of family drama sweetness thrown in for good measure but do not expect it to be better than the first film. I hope in the third one they will show some huge stealing or some awesome super villain stuff.

Golmaal Again (2017)

I was expecting something amazing since I loved the 3rd one. But this was just boring for the most part. Reused jokes just are not funny. We need new fresh stuff not just some predictable boring story with stupid action scenes which you cannot comprehend ever. I am giving it a 4 just because some parts were actually funny!

The Social Network (2010)

The moment I heard what this movie is about I was like. I won't like it since I am more of an action adventure type of guy. But boy was I wrong. The fantastical story of the making of Facebook is just as intriguing as it is to browse the website itself. Or maybe not so much nowadays. But in any case this does not require you to like facebook to like this movie. The movie is about friends and betrayals which center around a Billion Dollar Company. I loved this masterpiece.

Paranormal Activity 2 (2010)

Rehash of old formula but still good!

Its clearly takes a lot from the previous movies but since the execution is also pretty good while not being a whole lot different. I still found this scary and enjoyable enough. I loved the first movie and wanted to watch the second and for me it certainly was not disappointing. But if the same formula will used for a 3rd film then I do not know if this will work or not even for me? But here in the second one it worked pretty well.

The Lovely Bones (2009)

A very weird kind of beautiful movie!

This movie tries to be beautiful and if you can understand what its trying to do then you will like it very much. I am not into these kinds of movies so for me it certainly was a very different kind of movie and I liked it for the most part but it was just too long I'd say. Visuals are really good with well done CGI. . The kind of story it wanted to tell, it told it pretty well. Its a movie where you will have to helplessly see all good and bad things happening around just like our main character. You might take it as a negative but that is exactly what is also the strength of this movie cause that is how a lot of things happen around us.

Hot Tub Time Machine (2010)

Nice movie but do not try this at your Hot Tub!

I am from India and I do not know much about 80s in my own country because I was born in 90s and without nostalgia I felt a little lost at times but I still enjoyed this movie. So the movie does not require extensive knowledge of 80s to be enjoyable but it will increase your enjoyment certainly if you are familiar with 80s. I may not know much about 80s but I did played Vice City. The story does not take itself too seriously and that just adds to the enjoyment and the twist at the end is just amazing. You will be predicting something else and the moment it hits it just works and its very funny!

Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole (2010)

This is a Visual Masterpiece starring owls!

The visual quality and attention to detail is just breath taking. The world that this movie takes you to is also very intriguing and believable even if you are not into owls that much. The story is told like a classic epic which is pretty good especially when combined with its extra ordinary visuals. The only problem I had was from my side and it was not being able to see this in glorious 3D because the attention to detail would have just shined through and through. So if you can help it please just watch in 3D.

Knight and Day (2010)

Good enough if you want more Tom Cruise as a spy!

We have already seen Tom cruise play a spy in a lot of movies and here again he does the same. If you want more of him as a spy then that is exactly what you are gonna get in this one. The movie is not bad and has good comedy, but it's not great either. It is something that you can describe as good enough and thats the only negative aspect that matters because we expect great things from him and his movie. We do not want some just good enough experiences.

Kick-Ass (2010)

This movie kicks ass! Not just in the title!

I wasn't expecting much but once I started watching and got hooked then I realized that this is the kind of movie which could be fun and still differentiate itself from all that superhero crowd. This is a very different kind of superhero movie because this world has superheroes only in the comics {Just like real life} but our protagonist wants to change the world and make it one where superheroes do exist. The only problem I had was with some fight scenes which were way to shaky to understand whats going on {This is not that bad of a problem} but other than that I thoroughly enjoyed watching this and totally recommend this to anyone who wants to see a different kind of superhero movie.

The Karate Kid (1984)

Classic good vs evil!

The movie is more about the relationship between the boy and his master so don't expect an action filled karate movie. The few karate scenes which are in the movie are quite amazing though. The movie has a heart that is certain. And its story is told in a classic good vs evil fashion which I enjoyed a lot. So if you are in a mood for a classic Good beating Evil tale then just get along for a nice ride and have fun.

Let the Right One In (2008)

No sparkly Vampires here!

It was a very different kind of vampire movie or should I say that its a different kind of love story. Well its just something new and fresh, something that will stick to your head and make you believe that even today, love story of a vampire can be just so beautifully told. Unlike some other sparkly vampire movie filled with stupid ideas. Pacing might feel like a little bit off at times but its a necessity in this movie so no problem there. If you want a different type of vampire movie experience, go for it.

Reservoir Dogs (1992)

Still its a joy to watch!

This is one of those classic movies that have aged very well. I watched an anime named Baccano which I really liked and I wanted more things like that then I read about how Baccano was inspired by Tarantino's style so I decided to go ahead and watch this movie and I gotta say its excellent. Its each and every dialogue is just there to entertain you and it does its job pretty well. I never found myself getting bored and always eager to see whats next. The non linear style also adds to the fun and I really like this type of movies which are like a puzzle which we can solve as we go along the joy filled ride!

Doom (2005)

Not a DOOM movie but still decent!

The Rock is quite far from his Awesome Fast and Furious days but good enough. This movie has some really nice visuals, less use of CGI and more focus and practical effects really shows. I hated the explanation of the origins of the demons, it was unnecessary and wasn't convincing enough for me. This new origin story just made it difficult to see this as a DOOM movie, but its still an alright movie and that fps scene was pretty amazing. This could have been a great DOOM movie if only we would have got The Rock vs Cyberdemon.

Inception (2010)

Masterpiece inside Masterpiece!

This is the kind of movie which keeps cinema alive and keep going. No matter how many bad films will be made, a movie like this will keep the cinema awesome. This movie is a masterpiece. It holds your attention right from the beginning and slowly slowly builds its logic and world around you that you will question yourself that is this real, is it really possible to make such an amazing movie out of such an idea. Well Nolan have done it and I trust him to keep doing this again and again in the future!

Devil (2010)

Its thrilling! But ending was not very satisfying for me!

Cinematography is very well done. The movie starts of pretty good and I got hooked instantly and enjoyed it until the climax. Even though most of the movie takes place inside an elevator it never gets stale, it keeps you guessing and you never will predict most of the time whats gonna happen next. Climax is where I felt this movie got bad. Other than that this movie is a worthy watch for thriller fans.

Daybreakers (2009)

Just OK!

A civilized world in which most of the population is of Vampires is a really cool idea, and when the movie starts, you will be wowed by the world building for about 10 minutes but then you will notice a shift from the awesome world into more stuff which is not related to the awesome civilized world but more on the side of wild things which is something you can also see in other movies. So just because this movie does not focus on that cool world for the most part, this movie is just OK! So just keep your expectations lowered and you might just enjoy this one.
