Exceptional
Just saw this at my local film festival and wowwwwww! That had me gripped start to finish. Its comedic timing is perfect. It's excellently shot, and well acted. The body horror is fantastic and really has you squirming with discomfort. And THAT scene. Oh my god, THAT scene. If you've seen it, you know exactly the one. I personally nearly swallowed my fist, from stuffing it in my mouth. Thoroughly entertaining from start to finish. Wow. Just wow. 10/10, desperately want to watch it again.
The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (2013)
If I could give this a higher score, I would. This film changed my life.
It's cliché to say that a film of about an office cubicle type worker that goes out and sees life, is inspiring or relatable. But I think this film is so earnest, that it breaks cliché. Because it is inspiring. No, none of us realistically have out drove a volcanic eruption. None of us have jumped from a drunk man's helicopter. But we all go through changes in our lives. We make our own leaps of faith that are scary, that are daunting. I think it's easy to look cynically upon this film, but it ruins the experience I think. For me, I daydream a lot. Or at least I used to. I do/did exactly what Walter does. And weirdly, a lot of the details about Walter are very similar to me as well, down to being into photography, the specificity of his daydreams, and the fact there's a scene where he and Sean play football in the Himilayas - when I am an avid football fan myself. I need to watch this again, but this film spoke to me on a serious emotional level, that's never ever happened to me before, with any form of art or media. The cinematography is gorgeous, the CGI daydream bits are goofy in a great way, the story is simple but poignant, and it feels great to be seen by a film. 100/10, easily one of, if not my favourite film ever.

WTF Just Happened
Um, so I just watched this and I've got to say, this was one of the weirdest films I've seen, and I didn't expect the change of genre midway through the film if I'm honest. Was a fun movie but wasn't my favourite film or film by Tarantino. Solid 8/10
Christopher Robin (2018)
Would absolutely recommend. Worth a rewatch
This pulled so many of my heartstrings. I cried several times. Within the first 5 or 10 minutes, I was tearing up. Though it followed the basic plot of a man finding his former self, to then rise against his superiors, it executed it well. If you've read the old Winnie the Pooh books or watched the cartoons, the nostalgia will hit you very hard. Ewan McGregor was brilliant, and his partnership with Pooh was very intimate. I loved this film, and would recommend to anyone
