Are you kidding me?
11 May 2024
Slim Robinson is the Goat! He can make cheese! So many real life champions in this high end documentary. Real life cyclist and boxing champion Mike Tyson and well others.

I'm buying a bike tomorrow just because Gustov Ditters was such a an amazing cyclist he had to be played by several actors.

Some dude in a fur coat and cowboy hat was in it, not sure what he did in real life, he was blacked out and couldn't tell who he was, maybe you can.

An explanation of the performance enhancing drugs was highly scientific. Coming away from it I feel I can work in a drug lab now.

OK, gotta go get on my bike now. Byyyyyyeeeee.

Who Knew?
11 May 2024
This is a shocking documentary. I always knew there was a seedy side of tennis. I also knew the Queen was rougher than she looked. If I could go back to when I watched tennis and know what I know now, you know what I mean.

Fantastic play and very real for the comedy fan. Having credible sports hosts and players added to the authenticity of the 40 plus minute joke.

Had I known sex was allowed on the court, I might have played a bit, you know what I mean?

I have to hand it to the British crowd for putting up with a 7 day game, true sports fans.

With all of that said. I'll never listen to "Release Me," the same, ever again, sad face emoji here.

Keystone Cops
23 January 2024
Warning: Spoilers
I know I gave it a one. If I watch something and have to give up on it less than half way through it gets a one.

When watching Fargo season 5 and now this, really has me thinking I need to spend more time reading than watching grass grow.

If you are going to have a slow moving plot, you need action or a nice sounding voice when the narrator or actor talks. This season has neither. BTW, a nice scenery is also needed with a grueling pace.

Are you serious a man is still alive and a cop pulls his frozen arm off. I started laughing. A little old lady cop yelling at everyone and then a dumb cop pulls the arm a frozen guy, and he yells in pain. As I mentioned, I laughed and soon turned to watch something else.

I'm done with this season. Slow, dreary, depressing, unlikeable characters seem to be the norm now. Books are going to become my norm now.

Too good to be true
22 January 2024
I knew it. I knew it was too good to be true. I've been disappointed by watching shows that try to be artistic instead of storytelling. So I come across this and for 7 episodes this show fit like a glove. I just kept wondering when it will go off the rails and it never did! Well, until the closer.

In this season finale I could see the actors acting. How did that happen? Characters started be different than they were 1 - 7. Even the annoying smoking every scene was different. (Surprised some of the fight scenes don't stop mid way so they can light up.)

So much left in mid air with no good feeling of some things were wrapped up. Just more questions, to many discombobulated story lines. How did they get me to feel so negative in just one episode? In short, that sucked. The 6 rating is from the residue of the first 7. Otherwise this gets a 3.

The acting was very good
17 January 2024
The writing and directing made me make a list of the writers and directors involved in season 5. They are- Noah Hawley, Thomas Bezucha, Donald Murphy, Sylvian White, Dana Gonzales and Robert De Laurentiis.

If I never watch another production involving the above people, I will have had a good life.

I hung in there to see the ending. I was very disappointed but not shocked because the entire season has been a severe disappointment. I wanted one of these characters to step off the screen and end my misery. The slow pace was much too slow and the decision making of characters was unbelievable. There's more but I don't care to give this season anymore effort.

I hope someone makes a parody of this and other titles like it. It would be so easy to do.

Child Abuse
4 December 2023
This is a story about a mentally ill man that financial, mentally and emotionally abused kids. You could say that he physically abused them by putting them in dangerous situations. The state of Ohio should be ashamed of themselves for not holding this man accountable for the abuse he committed to these boys that may impact them for the rest of their lives. The amount of greed and cover up would be immense if it were not for social media. ESPN and the documentary makers will financially benefit off of these kids. It's hard to watch this narcissist explain himself for 90 minutes while laughing away. Left me feeling pretty bad.

Awkward Commentary
30 November 2023
Much of the commentary is annoying which is too bad since the actual footage is intriguing. The commentary is annoying because it is repetitive, repeating what has already been said. Most of the commenters are "Karen" like and slowly stating what you already know. If you read at the third grade level, you will get bored with the repetition and the captain obvious statements.

In my opinion this show could use a little levity. After all, these people are in the buff. Hire a comedian or just someone with a sense of humor instead of the "oh my gosh" commentary that keeps happening. I don't jump to one star, but if I stop watching cause they cut to a person sitting there talking like a robot every few seconds, then 1 star.

I quit at Season 4 Episode 7
9 June 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I feel like I'm watching the same thing over and over. The last straw was King Edward and his Mother, Aelswith watching Uhtred make townspeople line up for food. Uhtred tells the townspeople, "You must work as one rather than quarreling amongst yourselves.". The people form a calm line for the food rather than the prior fighting for it. Aelswith's comment to King Edward,"Look how he influences them, he will make them rise against you."

Give me a break, Uhtred has saved this families life how many times? The writers give the characters illogical remarks, judgements and feelings. It's comical at times.

I knew the writers would go off course
7 June 2022
Watching characters change in one episode with no good reason is bewildering. Hearing phrases over and over is irritating. Watching characters be unreasonable and directly opposite of their previous behavior is bad writing. This story created chaos out of nowhere. I'm going to see if this continues.

My rating went down after Season 4
1 June 2022
I really enjoyed this show and was happy to see there are 7 seasons. It turns out 4 seasons I enjoyed light, fun, creative, smart and good writing. After that the main characters become dumb, everyone else is a bad guy and corrupt. There's nothing much enjoyable after season 4 and the show becomes rudderless.

Seriously, no one is that stupid (Patton Oswalt Character) and even the team is acting like keystone cops. I think the writing started going down hill in season 5 and has declined since.

Warning: Spoilers
It's independent film style. You may not realize who impregnated this girl unless you are a scumbag like the dad. Someone please help the dad put his coat on like a little boy. Good job acting all around. That dad i wanna knock out. The girls I wanna thank. This is woman toughness and love. This movie uses the word MF'er without actually saying it!!!

Characters are miserable. Pace is slow and dreary. Stupid hostility. Much of it is in the dark. No one to root for. Forced cussing. Bunch of tough guys doing stereotypical tough guy speach, phrases and behaviors. I've seen this before and it's irritating.

I skipped from the mid second episode to the last. I fast forwarded the last episode. So much touching my phone screen for this one. Who was likeable? For me nobody. Just goes to show, when you a true narcissist, you won't ever get what life is really about.

Witty, Funny, good comedic actors. Not over the top but still with quirky characters. Writing is very good, quick and choppy and easily digestible. I think the bad reviews are from the people rooting for Vincent?

What the hec was supposed to be so suspenseful? To easy to predict and long drawn out phone ringing, baby crying and sighs. The acting was fine but the pace is agonizing. The acting was fine but no acting could improve this pace.

The writers had their High School kids write this. Every interaction between Bailey and Nolan is like High School drama. In fact why have Fillion act like a middle scool male? (How many characters above?)

Not a 1 or a 10
19 March 2022
Like everything else it's in-between. Not super funny but it is humorous at times. It's more thought provoking than funny. The first episode was a bummer until the end and now each episode has proved to move the story along nicely and you can connect with Beth. It's doing what I hoped, make me watch the next episode.

It's a shame Netflix, other media and people pay for this sham. There are poor people out there with much better and real abilities that should be paid for.

What a Bummer
9 March 2022
I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. The acting was fine 3* for that. The story was very anxiety and depression provoking. I gave up early in the second episode. Even taking a shower and arguing about a frinkin Connie Chung interview was anxious. Every step of the story is depressing and anxious. No happy moments, just robotic depression.

Not for me...
12 May 2021
Opening scene they are trying to get away but act like the slowest, dumbest fugitives I've ever seen. Later June has quick witted voiced thoughts but outwardly she acts dumb as a brick. No, not cautious, yes dumb. I can tell this is going to go on and on and on. Done at 40 minutes of the first episode.

Tom Hanks, no wonder you had that look when Ricky Gervais presented at the golden globes. Your acting as a western American was shameful.
