White Noise (2022)
A masterpiece about fear of dying
Don't listen to bad reviews, the movie is highly entertaining and in a very witty way deals with an interesting topic - fear of dying. It uses unusual scenes full of symbolism, the dialogues are very unusual but good. The last scene with a song where people are dancing in the supermarket is absolutely brilliant meaning we're trying to surpress our fear of dying in secular society by excessive consumerism. It seems that people giving bad reviews did not bother to understand and expected some classic Holywood bs. Give the movie a chance if you want to experience something different - it really deserves it.
True Things (2021)
Excellent movie and acting
Great movie that touches upon social expectations of how the life should look like and a struggle to fulfil them. I liked the scene when the main character scrolls through social media and only sees happy couples, relationship goals and crap like that and inevitable compares her life to those 'true things'. Ruth Wilson was great and you can literally feel what her character is going through. It's really difficult to understand all the negative reviews.
Blinkende lygter (2000)
4 stars for Peter, Arne, Stefan and Trokild
This is one of the most boring films I've ever experienced but I'm still giving four stars, one for Peter, one for Arne, one for Stefan and one for Trokild.
Locke & Key (2020)
Excellent ecranization of comic books series
I really think it's excellent ecranization of legendary comic book series. If you're fan of Locke & Key comics you certainly won't be disappointed even though the comics are more brutal and violent. The TV series doesn't follow exactly the plot of the comic which I found entertaining as it is not completely replicated but new events have been added to it. Fun, exciting and entertaining
Mother! (2017)
Strong movie with strong message!
It's really funny to see such contradicting reviews! People are either hating it or loving it! I really found it deep and intense, on several levels. It really shows the flow of relationship where one partner is emotionally Invested and tuned to the feelings of another and another lacks empathy. You will also notice quite a few religious references but the movie can also be read and understood from other perspectives, not only religious one.
Black Sails (2014)
