Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City (2021)
Terrible
For a film that's pretending to stick closer to the source material than the previous RE films, they sure made a mess of it.
None of these characters look or act anything like their in-game counterparts and the story is just all over the place. All you had to do was copy the games...or do what the previous films did and stay the hell away from the games. You did neither.
If you've played the games, don't watch this 'cause it will not live up to it. If you have not played the games, don't watch this just play the games instead.
Lucifer: Partners 'Til the End (2021)
Simply Lovely
Despite the few mishaps halfway through the season, Lucifer ends as it should: brilliantly.
Lucifer: My Best Fiend's Wedding (2021)
The Devil doesn't do "woke" well (then again no one does)
Season was off to a great start, but doubling down on the BLM subplot and having Adam give a speech about "toxic masculinity" is really killing this show.
Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker (2019)
A Classic Jar Jar Abrams Movie
Entertaining in the sense that it is fun to watch a slow motion car crash.
JJ finds new and exciting ways to utterly break the Star Wars canon and delivers a terrible end to a terrible trilogy. Thank god this is over now.
Star Trek: Discovery: Brother (2019)
Amazingly, it got worse.
Whilst season one of STD was by no means good, it was at the very least watchable if you choose to ignore the continuity errors. However, for season 2 they apperently decided to double down on all the things people hated. More out-of-era tech, more darkness, no sense of wonder, worse dialogue and somehow Michael manages to be an even more unlikeable character. They also added some forced humour, which I can't help but think is them trying to be closer to the Orville (and completely missing what makes that show great).
Pyke is the only positive thing about this episode, he is better written then the other charaters (probably because he is "lifted asset" so to speak) and with Mount Disco crew finally has an actor that can actually, you know, act.
