The Rookie: Feds (2022)
91DONE
I'm a big fan of Nathan Fillion since his Buffy days and through Firefly so when he became The Rookie I was all in. It's an enjoyable show. A bit farfetched for all that his particular character has gone through but it's still good.
When Rookie: Feds came along I gave it a shot because of the crossover.
This could be such a great show with a few character changes.
Niecy Nash's character Simone grates on the nerves. She comes across as fake as a person acting a part, badly I might add. She's really not useful to most of the episodes and she's supposed to be the central character.
Frank Faison's Cutty is also unbearable and the acting is horrible.
Minus these two characters the show could really be something.
The Last Witch Hunter (2015)
It's an acquired taste.
I don't understand the hate for this movie.
If you're a Diesel fan, you'll enjoy it. He has had worse roles.
The special effects are sound, the story is engaging, and the actors commit to the parts.
This movie takes itself just seriously enough.
How many of us would live thousands of years and be more than we started?
This is a main character who is simply a good man cursed to walk the earth and hunt what took away his most precious things in life.
This is my third time through, and I will most likely watch it a fourth time. I wish they'd seen enough praise and $$$ to make the second movie.
Siberia (2018)
I Watched The Whole Thing
I'll watch anything with K. R. in it. I'm a fan of the guy and maybe I'm spoiled by his other movies.
Giving it a seven because of Keanu. I understood the plot and where we were headed and the love interest.
I enjoyed the back and forth between Reeves and Ularu. The chemistry was believable. But this either needs to be an action film or a romance. It can't be both.
I got kind of a Lake House vibe with Russian gangsters.
Liked the scenes with the Katyas brothers and friends.
Then I saw the black suit with black shirt and tie and I thought, "Here we go!"
SPOILER
But no, John Wick only killed about four or five guys and gets punked by the big bads unimpressive wanna-be tough guy lackey.
The ending left a lot to be desired. The whole movie just needed more weight. Very thin.

WTH Was That
I have been a fan of Gillian since her stint on Doctor Who. I don't know what this was or why she'd accept the part, but it wasn't worth the time to watch it. Seems like an interesting premise but the delivery was flat. Different genre, but Gunpowder Milkshake was a solid Gillian film if you're a fan.
The Matrix Resurrections (2021)
Completely Underwhelmed
Lightning does not strike twice. This addition had its moments and it's own new additions but it isn't something I'd watch again. That's saying something coming from someone who absolutely loves sci-fi/action/adventure. I eat stuff like this up. This movie left me cold.
