Notre-Dame (2022)

Starts well but goes downhill

At first I thought the series had potential: the nonlinear story and the photography caught me at the beginning and made me want to continue watching. But from the second episode on, you have to ignore a lot of nonsense to keep watching. The series is supposed to be a realistic drama, but one of the main characters, Max, is like Bruce Willis in Die Hard. Apart from a few firefights, all characters are dumb and reckless.

I felt like it deserved a better direction, cause the plot isn't bad. For the amount of money spent in the production (the effects are great), they could've invested a bit more and delivered something more credible. It's only worth watching if you like the French language, otherwise I wouldn't have finished it.

...you're crying :'( I got as angry as Anne during the whole episode. I couldn't think of a reason for those letters to justify the time the mother spent away from her daughter, but at the end it was a slap on my face.

Dark (2017–2020)

Not trash, but overrated

I really tried to like this show, believe me, but it turned out to be disappointing at the end. I won't say this series is bad overall because at the beginning it's very promising. The 1st season is great (9/10). 2nd season is slow, but has good moments (7/10). 3rd season is almost unbearable (3/10).

Everybody Hates Chris (2005–2009)

One of the most popular comedies in Brazil

I really love this show. The characters are really well developed and memorable. It's quite funny how famous this show is in Brazil. I've asked a lot of people from other countries, and it's mostly unknown by them, while here most people know their catchphrases by heart. I think this is explained by three factors: 1. It was broadcasted by an open channel several times per day for years, and we don't have many good content available on TV; 2. Brazilians can really relate to the situations lived by Chris and his family. A lower middle class family trying to survive lack of money, prejudice and other adversities of life in a very positive way. 3. The dubbing of this show is REALLY good.

Cuckoo (II) (2012– )

Season 1 is amazing

I'm not a big fan of comedies, but the first season is really good. Love the construction of all characters. Cuckoo is annoying as hell, but you learn how to tolerate him (and he is supposed to be annoying). Unfortunately in the next seasons they had to replace the main character and even changed his wife, so it looks like a completely different show. I tried continuing, but it wasn't good...

Very Poor

I felt like I was watching a Marvel movie: cringy characters, bad soundtrack, predictable plot. The main character did not convince me. His voice-over all the time is annoying as hell. He doesn't need to describe everything that's happening when we can actually SEE what's happening. It doesn't make him look smart, just makes him look pretentious, as if everybody else were dumb not to notice what's going on. I tried not to judge much, considering that it seems to be a show made for teenagers, but it's much worse than the shows I used to watch when I was a teenager myself.

...for the fact that we will never see a second season.

This show is simply sensational: The plot, the characters, the acting, the soundtrack, the dialogues. Everything seems to be well-thought to be there. As others have said, it reminds a bit of Breaking Bad, but don't expect the same quality, of course. I really wish Netflix or any other big company would make a decent final season for it, even after so long.

Cuckoo: A New Beginning (2014) Season 2, Episode 1

Awful

I decided to give it a try, even knowing that they had changed two of the main actors. And... It was simply awful. 30 minutes and no good jokes, no funny situations. Absolutely nothing.

Vikings (2013–2020)

From an excellent TV show to an average one

The first 3 seasons are excellent. I used to recommend this series to all my friends. Few episodes, good story, unique characters. Then the fame came and brought greed. History Channel decided to double the earnings by doubling the number of episodes in season 4. Without enough content to fill the episodes, the show became slow and boring. I decided to stop watching it by the end of season 4 because I realized it was declining. I don't want to screw up my good memories.
