In for a bloody good time!

A sequel that surpasses the original is a rare occurrence and Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey 2 certainly doesn't disappoint in that regard. That being said, once you get past the gratuitous violence and gore that dominates the majority of the plot, there is relatively little left of substance that makes this film work. I would call this a textbook case of the adage that just because one can do something doesn't mean they should. A Winnie the Pooh film that portrays the character as a serial mass murderer is a premise that is more than enough to turn most people away, and even with a higher budget than its predecessor and grander ambitions, this film perhaps bites off more than it can chew.

Why would they have allowed this?

Warning: Spoilers
Kingdom of the Spiders must have been a product of its time or something, but one thing I can't help but notice is in the later half of the film, the main character's niece is wearing a ridiculously short dress. Her dress is so short that her underwear is easily exposed and unfortunately, it doesn't help that she spends most of the film being carried around by adults who don't seemed to be bothered by the fact that her panties are visible. If that little girl's parents had noticed their daughter's underwear was being exposed, they would've been furious, especially if this film were being made today.
