Everybody's Fine (2009)
This was the most depressing film I've ever seen
Usually when a films sad that means it's really good but this just bums me out. Part of me feels like it would have been better if the dad died instead of his son David as a way to get the kids together. Also keeping secrets from their dad, I get if it was small stuff but the things they were lying about were huge and it's so sad that they kept him in the dark. I don't know how to feel about this, it's 50/50 for me.
Christmas with the Kranks (2004)
I wish I could give this a zero
I really hated this because it's completely unfair. They wanted to do something different for Christmas and as a result everyone is bullying them? These people are adults, shouldn't they be mature enough to know everyone celebrates Christmas differently. I mean my Grandma is Jewish, is this film saying that she's bad because she celebrates Hanukkah instead of Christmas? These two didn't do anything wrong and then by the end of the movie, giving in to the pressure was the right thing to do?
Titanic (1997)
I skip right to the iceberg and sinking.
I honestly don't care about the Jack and Kate romance, please don't hate me for that. I was more focused on the extra characters or the minor characters of this film and how they dealt with the titanic sinking. Each of them deserve so much credit that it's way more powerful than the romance between two fictional characters. I really loved how this movie covered so many characters by the end.
Home Sweet Home Alone (2021)
Gave up half way.
I never finished this movie, not that I wanted to anyway because it was so bad that it pointed out its own mistakes in the film. The entire time I was watching this I kept wondering why not just call the kids phone, unless his mom didn't get him a phone.
Seriously, they tried to recreate the same things from the 1st home alone and failed completely. Those two parents that were supposed to be Marv and Harry for this movie were so stupid as well. I kept thinking that there had to be a smarter way they could get that doll back.
I dont care how the movie ends ir if the boy did any traps like Kevin did, I'm going to try and forget about it.
The Good Dinosaur (2015)
I loved it
I almost cried to this because it so real how much fear affects someone. Arlo is a sympathetic character and I loved him much he cared for Spot. I wish others loved it as much as I did.
Eternals (2021)
Uggghhhh 😴
This was without a doubt the most boring MCU film I've ever seen. This movie outranks Thor the Dark World as MCU worst movie. I know this included a more diverse group of main characters when it came to race, disability, and LBGT but even that couldn't bring this to life. Sure the visuals are great, but the story line itself is so slow and dull that it doesn't seem like it makes much of a difference for any of the other films. The fact that this subject is different than the other MCU films is the biggest problem for me when I originally thought it was going to be its biggest strength. Sure I liked Sersi, but the others were just meh for me.
One person told me this film is like Marvel's first DCEU movie and I can understand why because it's supposed to be darker. That is precisely why I prefer MCU over DCEU. If that's the case, then this would be in the same level as Man of Steel and BvsS.
This was such a let down and I was looking for ward to this one the most, even more than Spiderman no way home.
The Flash (2014)
Season 7 made me give up on this show.
I enjoyed the first 4 seasons of Flash but once season 5 started, things went downhill. They've made the fighting and writing pointless and cliche. This isn't even a superhero show anymore, it's basically a soap opera. Which is why I could barely get through season 7, I should have stopped watching this year's ago.
Whoever reads this I beg you, don't watch season 7 because it'll destroy your opinion of this show.
Legends of Tomorrow (2016)
Gave up mid season 4
I liked watching the first three seasons, especially season 3 since it had the best moments in there. But once I got the mid season 4, I realized how ridiculous and idiotic this show actually was. I wish they cancelled it so badly after season 3.
Riverdale (2017)
I stopped watching mid season 3, I should've stopped after season 1
Ok I liked the first season because it was more relatable and the characters were easier to understand. After that, it becomes very clear to me. The people of Riverdale are either insane, stupid, manipulative, or all three. I don't care what anyone else says, this show should've gotten canceled.
The Loud House (2014)
I liked the first 2 seasons, though I might be alone in this area.
Ok I know I'm in the minority here, but I actually prefer seasons 1 and 2 over the others. Yes they did have the worst episodes of the series, but I liked Lincoln during these 2 seasons. Even though he screwed up and kept making selfish decisions, he felt more sympathetic and easier to connect with during this time. There were also so many instances where his sisters took him for granted and he forgave them easily, that I feel is an amazing quality anyone could have.
I understand why others feel the opposite because the later season showed more of Lincolns friends and family so the show didn't focus completely on him. Also, they introduce things like having Stella as a friend, Luna liking Sam, Leni getting a job, the parents getting new jobs, even the season 5 stuff like Lori, Lincoln, and Lily starting at new schools. Now, there's nothing wrong with any of this, but as it goes on, its starting to feel like filler episodes so the show isn't as entertaining as it was before. To me, this stuff feels a little too redundant and predictable. It makes the show too happy go lucky.
That's why I like the earlier seasons, because I never expect these bad things to happen and how Lincoln or his sisters would make up for it. Sure the conflict gets resolved quick unrealistically, but it's interesting to see why it happens and how it progresses.
But that's just me, I'm sure others feel differently since I'm a young adult watching this. Or taking a break from watching this.
